Ryan and I got married at Rivervale Barn on the 11/05/2024. The day was so magical from the beginning of the day with the makeup team (Rivervale beauty) to the ceremony area. The team were so helpful and efficient and nothing was ever a bother. Thankyou for making our wedding day super special.

We knew from the moment we stepped into Rivervale that this was the place we wanted to get married. The venues and grounds were beautiful and we fell in love with the outdoor space, however on our wedding day the weather had other ideas and because of the rain we held the ceremony indoors. The indoor space was just as gorgeous and now we look back on the day we wouldn’t have had it any other way. The staff were brilliant from planning to the actual day. We would especially like to mention Victoria who we could have not asked for a better person to help us through our day. Our guests were very complimentary of her too as we know it can be quite difficult to organise our friends and families, but she handled it so brilliantly. We can’t speak highly enough of her! Rivervale Barn has also built up amazing partnerships with their suggested supplies, who some of which we used for our day and would recommend taking a look at yourself.

I had the best experience at Amaryllis! Ruth is incredible at what she does and so knowledgeable. I came in with a rough idea as to what I wanted, and Ruth was great at picking out gowns - some that matched my vision and some I hadn't even thought of! Ruth made the whole experience feel fun for everyone, and I felt very comfortable talking with her. Thanks again Ruth for all your help and I can't wait to wear my Amaryllis dress!

Ruth was wonderful at helping me find my beautiful wedding dress! I was a bit nervous to visit as I had been to a previous boutique to try on wedding dresses and didn’t find anything I liked. This experience was totally different.. Ruth totally understood what I was looking for and gauged me as a person. After trying on different styles, I found my perfect dress!! Ruth was very helpful offering advice with shoes and accessories. Ruth is very friendly, helpful and has a real passion for what she does. I would 100% recommend Amaryllis Bridal Boutique.

I am so glad that I have found this lovely Bridal shop and Ruth. She is incredible. I was so nervous to try on dresses as I am plus size, but Ruth has been so reassuring from the moment I have booked my appointment. The boutique is full of gorgeous gowns for all shapes and sizes and Ruth was there to guide me and help me to see what style would work best. She was so excited for me which made me excited. She has made this stressful experience enjoyable, and I had a wonderful time at her shop. With Ruth's help I found my perfect dress in which I felt beautiful. I highly recommend to visit her as I am sure you will have just as an amazing time as I did.

My experience at amaryllis bridal was amazing from start to finish! As soon as I stepped into the shop, I felt like a little girl in a sweet shop. The dress choice was amazing, so many dresses of all shapes, sizes, and styles. I had no clue what style of dress I wanted, all I could give Ruth was - it’s abroad. She helped me pick out dresses which would be suitable with the hot weather, and picked styles she thought would complement my figure. Well the first dress I tried on was in my top picks, and that ended up being “the” dress! Something I wouldn’t have picked out for myself, but wow… it really is stunning. I felt like there was no pressure to buy which in our shops I did feel pressure to purchase. She has hair accessories and veils too, which is great. I’ve walked away with my dream dress, veil, and hair piece. Thank you Ruth, what an amazing experience from start to finish being treated like a queen. X

Having the pop up photo box at our wedding just made the reception! Our guests absolutely loved it and we captured some amazing memories from using the booth. Aston was really quick and informative when we spoke on email and the lady who was the attendant on the night (apologies I didn't grab her name) was amazing and seemed to be enjoying helping us take some great and hilarious photos. We hired Aston & the team back in April 2024 for our wedding. Fast coward to August 2024 and my Husband turn’t 30. I knew I had to contact Aston and the team to get them to come to his surprise birthday party. I contacted Aston, as always so quick to respond and just so friendly. On the day, we had an issue where the initial venue cancelled on us. We sourced another venue (only 10 minutes away) and the Pop Up team were first there. We hired Pop up Photo Box from Aston Dobson Events for our wedding. They were incredible and provided a great service with a fantastically large range of props for guests to use! We really appreciated the lovely book which guests were able to put a copy of their photos in and write a message. I can’t thank the girl running the photo booth enough as she pointed out that she hadn’t seen the bride or groom have photos and alerted guests to go get us before she packed away! We really appreciated this and her giving us time to get photos with our family and friends. We also love that we have received digital copies of all the photos! Amazing service which added so much fun to the evening. We highly recommend :)

We hired the Pop up Photo Box for our wedding reception and it was absolutely fantastic. The props and the back drop fit well to our theme (we got married in Vegas a month ago). Kayleigh (sorry if I got this wrong) was so friendly and helpful, the guests were also loving her fun vibe. We had as many prints as we wanted, which guests could stick in the signing book that was included. I was also sent all the photos by WeTransfer just in case any were lost and I can see all the pictures taken on the night! Would definitely recommend.

Specsavers Alton had a summer party, the BBQ was amazing the whole atmosphere was perfect. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Thankyou so much to sole events. You are all also such lovely people.we will be back ☺️

Lovely place and all very friendly people

We had our wedding a couple of weeks ago (02nd November), with an Autumnal theme during the day which turned into a bit more of a Fiesta vibe in the evening. We got in contact with Victoria fairly early on and explained our vision in terms of decor, and she was so on board, communicative and helpful in taking our vision, and helping us to implement it - sending images of things she had in stock with prices, as well as suggesting which bits we could potentially do ourselves if we had the time. The Autumnal trees, and cake arch in particular really complemented and enhanced the theme during the day and helped to make the cake stand out, and the touches to the evening decor such as the ribbon wall and fake candles for memory table (Offrenda) really helped create the fiesta atmosphere we wanted! Victoria was very friendly, easy to work with and we would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for help or ideas on decor!

We had a simple wedding at the beginning of March 2024 and didn't want a lot of decor - Victoria immediately understood what we needed and made sure that it was simple and classic but beautiful too. It ended up perfectly complimenting our style, and we had lots of compliments about how the space looked. Victoria was really easy to deal with, very friendly, and I would absolutely recommend!

I can’t express how happy we were with the amazing work that Victoria did on our wedding venue decoration. She went above and beyond for us and nothing was too much trouble! She went out of her way to understand what our vision was for the day and discussed various options as well as giving us some amazing ideas that we hadn’t even considered. Victoria was an incredibly helpful supplier for our wedding. Putting us in touch with other suppliers and setting up fantastic decorations. Her decorations are amazing quality and there is a wide variety to fit any scheme. We couldn't have achieved such a cohesive professional look for our wedding without Victoria's input from early on. Can't recommend her enough.

We had the pleasure of working with Kirsty, Khia and the entire team at Events Co. for our wedding, and their contribution was nothing short of extraordinary. From the start, we received the most professional and honest service. We appreciated that nothing was forced on us and we could pick exactly what we needed for our big day. Nothing was too much trouble and whatever we requested along the way was met with a smile and was delivered efficiently. They supported us closely the entire time and helped us with the entire set up of the venue and organised everything to run smoothly the weeks leading up to the wedding. From our first meeting we got the comforting feeling that they genuinely care for each of their clients and understand what you are visioning easily within couple of minutes. We would recommend them to be hired as your wedding coordinators as they are the best in the events field and would give you the personal touch and care that you need especially at some of the most stressful weeks before the big day. Communication smooth and efficient throughout the planning process, and they were always prompt with in addressing our questions and concerns. Even when there were few stressful moments, Kirsty and Khia already though ahead and had a solution for every issue that occurred or may have occurred. On set-up day everyone went above and beyond to make everything look beautiful and better than what we even imagined. A big shout out to Koo, who designed all our stationary and put up with all of our demands even until the week before printing. We would also like to mention that everything we hired was in great condition and the furniture looked great when all set up. Right from the start Events and Co couldn’t have done more for us. From meeting with Khia when we just needed someone to make us feel calmer to the big details of organising everything. We loved how honest they were with everything about our wedding and bringing out ideas to life. The food on the day was also incredible, with pretty much everyone speaking to us after about how amazing our wedding food was!!! And then our coordinator Kirsty, she honestly made us feel like our wedding was the most important day she had ever been on. As I Arrived she was even carrying my nephew ,who had already taken to her, to pass her to my sister ready to goo down the aisle. She couldn’t have helped more to make sure everything went seamlessly and not just this but throughout the day she was so smooth that she just made everyone fall in love with her and even sent us some pictures and videos the next morning that she’d got for us ! She worked amazingly with all the suppliers and we honestly didn’t have a thing to worry about all day! I couldn’t recommend this company enough and will continue with everyone that I know getting married or married handing an event from health forward. We used The Events Co for our wedding at New Barn Farm this summer and could not recommend them enough. Their furniture/crockery hire service was so seamless with delivery the day ahead of when we started set up which gave us plenty of time, the catering was exceptional - they worked with us to create a bespoke BBQ menu and all the guests commented afterwards how great the food was - and the team’s waiting and bar staff were so accommodating and friendly. But Kirsty’s on the day coordination was by far the star of the show and something I would recommend to any couple. Nothing phased her - specific guest requirements, room change overs, even last minute change of plans due to the weather - she made our day run so smoothly and we’ll be forever grateful!

Khia & Kirsty @ The Events Co were so helpful in making sure our wedding ran smoothly this Summer! They took care of furniture, catering, staffing, on the day co-ordination and moral support!! No request or question was too much and they were so amazing at making sure we had everything perfect for us - it really was the best day! Honestly the best decision we could have made when it came to planning our wedding day! Also both LaToya and Ajay are fantastic and such lovely people to work with. For us, it felt they listened to everything we said, every aspiration and idea and then they made it happen! Planning When we started to think about planning our wedding we were unsure whether we needed a planner, and after speaking to a couple of wedding planners we were put off by limitations some of them imposed, but then we spoke with LaToya. Following our first call with LaToya our minds completed changed. We spoke frankly, we spoke about budgets / expectations and importantly we spoke about what we want our wedding to be like and not what we wanted it to be like. LaToya understood us from the get go and also her energy and enthusiasm is infectious. When meeting Ajay the first time, we saw the balance in his practical thinking, we knew why they work so well as a team. Re-planning We are very grateful for the wedding they created with us, it was beyond our expectations and looked and felt amazing. Their experience in wedding planning shone through when it came to working with suppliers and also the little details of the day - there are far too many examples to give. Even with the pandemic and several iterations of wedding format, guest numbers, restriction requirements, floor planning, etc, LaToya and Ajay kept us calm and more often knew more about what the wedding restriction guidelines meant before others. Partly because how hands on they are in the wedding sector, championing the suppliers in the sector and the bride/grooms. On the day The day ran so smoothly from our perspective, and that of the guests - it was a dream! That was down to SW Events team being so detailed focused and also being so calm on the day (they were probably running around putting out fires in the background, but for everyone involved and our guests it was a stress free event - our guests have commented positively about pretty much every aspect of the day. Ajay, you almost got a variety show, we think the creativity and vision we created for a seated reception was nothing anyone could have expected and it was such a treat for everyone - this is down to both your creativity but also experience with weddings and venues to pull it off.
