We used The Events Co for our wedding at New Barn Farm this summer and could not recommend them enough. Their furniture/crockery hire service was so seamless with delivery the day ahead of when we started set up which gave us plenty of time, the catering was exceptional - they worked with us to create a bespoke BBQ menu and all the guests commented afterwards how great the food was - and the team’s waiting and bar staff were so accommodating and friendly. But Kirsty’s on the day coordination was by far the star of the show and something I would recommend to any couple. Nothing phased her - specific guest requirements, room change overs, even last minute change of plans due to the weather - she made our day run so smoothly and we’ll be forever grateful!

We decided to use Events Co for our wedding at Appuldurcombe House after meeting Khia at two Wedding fayre’s at Medina & IOW Pearl. From the very start Khia had the answers in terms of power, toilets, tables, food, decor, staff, a bar and so much more specifically at our venue and had several meetings and phone calls with us over a 22 month period building up to the big day. Consistent calls and emails with Khia and her colleague Kirsty ensured everything we had booked and wanted was ready to go and nothing was ever forced or unreasonable, if anything the opposite. As the wedding approached they really came in to their own, checking on finer details such as what flavour ice creams we preferred on the ice cream bike and the positioning of the burger van (out of a horse box) they had also provided. On the Thursday and Friday like clockwork Khia and the team were there, everything as ordered and being set up exactly how we wanted it, at one point extra staff were there to help set up the tables and decorate, something we didn’t even expect! Every member of the team worked so hard to get our wedding ready and on the day they were great with on the day coordination from Khia themself and the canapés, two course lunch (3 choices for each course) and then our burger and chips van exceeded expectation and got great feedback from our guests! Khia and the team remained on hand all day and eve to ensure rooms were switched round and pudding tables were topped up as well as keeping the guests watered at the bar! Full of good spirits, banter, accommodating our guests needs and having pics with my dad and refusing my mums supply of apple pies she had got reduced the day before! The wedding went perfectly and Events Co made it what it was without doubt! They were legends all of them and a massive part of our day being what it was. Thank you so much Adan & Harriet!

Right from the start Events and Co couldn’t have done more for us. From meeting with Khia when we just needed someone to make us feel calmer to the big details of organising everything. We loved how honest they were with everything about our wedding and bringing out ideas to life. The food on the day was also incredible, with pretty much everyone speaking to us after about how amazing our wedding food was!!! And then our coordinator Kirsty, she honestly made us feel like our wedding was the most important day she had ever been on. As I Arrived she was even carrying my nephew ,who had already taken to her, to pass her to my sister ready to goo down the aisle. She couldn’t have helped more to make sure everything went seamlessly and not just this but throughout the day she was so smooth that she just made everyone fall in love with her and even sent us some pictures and videos the next morning that she’d got for us ! She worked amazingly with all the suppliers and we honestly didn’t have a thing to worry about all day! I couldn’t recommend this company enough and will continue with everyone that I know getting married or married handing an event from health forward. We had the pleasure of working with Kirsty, Khia and the entire team at Events Co. for our wedding, and their contribution was nothing short of extraordinary. From the start, we received the most professional and honest service. We appreciated that nothing was forced on us and we could pick exactly what we needed for our big day. Nothing was too much trouble and whatever we requested along the way was met with a smile and was delivered efficiently. They supported us closely the entire time and helped us with the entire set up of the venue and organised everything to run smoothly the weeks leading up to the wedding. From our first meeting we got the comforting feeling that they genuinely care for each of their clients and understand what you are visioning easily within couple of minutes. We would recommend them to be hired as your wedding coordinators as they are the best in the events field and would give you the personal touch and care that you need especially at some of the most stressful weeks before the big day. Communication smooth and efficient throughout the planning process, and they were always prompt with in addressing our questions and concerns. Even when there were few stressful moments, Kirsty and Khia already though ahead and had a solution for every issue that occurred or may have occurred. On set-up day everyone went above and beyond to make everything look beautiful and better than what we even imagined. A big shout out to Koo, who designed all our stationary and put up with all of our demands even until the week before printing. We would also like to mention that everything we hired was in great condition and the furniture looked great when all set up. I had the pleasure of meeting Rosie in my capacity as a wedding celebrant. She is a consummate professional has a fabulous sense of style, is hugely creative and an enviable address book of contacts from which to draw. Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

I attempted a wedding fair at the holiday inn and event Themes immediately caught my eye the table display looked beautiful and I knew I I wanted them to decorate our venue. Unfortunately our wedding got cancelled three times down to covid but jodie was amazing and kept in contact with me all the way through. 5 stars are not enough! From the day I met Jodie she put my mind at ease! I didn't have a clue where to begin planning a wedding, Jodie patiently sat down with me (and my Pinterest board) and went through everything. Jodie made examples of the centerpieces I had shown her in our colour scheme and they were exactly what we had wanted. Closer to the date Jodie met with myself and my husband and made sure we had everything we needed and reminded us of things we'd forgotten along the way. Throughout the whole process Jodie was never pushy for us to spend more money and worked alongside us with our budget. On the day everything was beautiful and the time and effort spent on every little detail was obvious. I would recommend event themes for any occasion and will definitely be using them again for future events! Thank you!

Jodie was an absolute pleasure to work with from the moment we began. She listened to what we wanted and made it happen, and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. The flowers were stunning, the table decorations, the ramp decorations, the lanterns, the aisle and even down to her helping us make a U shaped table possible- was all perfect. Every single guest commented on how beautiful it was and complimented her work. Thank you to all at Event Themes by JW for the time spent setting up the on Friday and Saturday and for making the moving of flowers and relaying/ adding bar table’s absolutely seem less! I could literally go on and on about each and every aspect of the day… but I won’t. They truly exceeded expectations and made our dreams come true- contributing to making our wedding day the best day of our lives !

Could not have asked for a better dance floor and light arrangement for our wedding. The dance floor with LED lights looked amazing and the large light up letters looked great. Working with Elizabeth Jane Events was also simple, super professional and an excellent experience. On the wedding day, the set up was so slick - they only had an hour between dinner finishing and dancing started. I didn't even notice the transition!! No issues at all. Everything was collected on time and with no issues the following day. Would highly recommend!

I used Elizabeth James for a New Year’s Eve party I was working on for Raggy&Boo. I ordered a glitter backdrop and multiple orb balloons as well as a balloon arch, all were absolutely brilliant. Leading up to the event the correspondence was perfect as well as on the day of the installation. The team were on time and quick to setup. I will certainly use Elizabeth James again.

We adored everything about having Elizabeth James Events be apart of our Wedding. Everything provided looked amazing and we were so happy with it, especially the Festoon Frame. It created the cozy atmosphere we wanted for the ceremony and the show stopper backdrop for us at the wedding breakfast. It then was perfectly positioned for our evening guests as a backdrop photo op, so a real focal point throughout the day! Thank you for letting our florist add the flowers on, it was simply perfect! The light up love letters were a great feature for the dancefloor, and the light up love heart made a stunning addition to our decoration at the sweet table we had. The communication before was also spot on - with prompt replies and being so helpful answering all our questions.

Fabulous service, highly recommend. Elizabeth James Events responded to our last minute request for some customised balloon decor to help us celebrate our corporate 20th anniversary. Their response to my initial query was very prompt and they worked with me to take my initial idea and turn it into something wonderful, despite the short turnaround time. The service from start to end was excellent, with great communication, professionalism and a great delivery and setup service on the day. I cannot recommend Stacey & her team enough! I worked with them for the first time last summer (although I had heard great things from other suppliers previously). It was effortless! Everything ran so seamlessly; nothing was too much trouble. They helped gather people for photos, which is always great! Such lovely people to work with, fun but professional; it felt like we’d worked together for years! We are so grateful to have had Stacey as our wedding coordinator – I honestly can’t say enough good things! We both agreed, that hiring Stacey was hands down one of the best investments we made for our wedding. We had the best day of our lives and having Stacey and Ali there on the day meant we could enjoy our day to the absolute max! On the day of the wedding, Stacey and Ali went above and beyond. They handled everything seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day literally zero stress. Everything was considered and organised so well, from our quick-fire family photos to Stacey’s genius plan of doing a receiving line on the way out of the drinks reception to make sure our guests started to make their way to their seats on time. We received so many compliments from our guests about Stacey and Ali and how brilliant they were. The fact that we are still WhatsApp-ing 2 months after the wedding tells you all you need to know – Stacey genuinely cares about the couples she works with. We had Jade for on the day co-ordination of our wedding, and also had 3 of her staff accompanying her. What can I say? Truly amazing to have Jade and her team, and the day would not have gone nearly so smoothly without her and the team, I would highly recommend for anyone needing a planner, DIY assistance, on the day co-ordination and staff for your event. The DIY struggle is real, and we were all prepping the venue until late into the night before the wedding, I left feeling stressed and with no idea how it would all come together. The next day after the service, I walked into the venue and couldn't believe how under control everything was! Staff were serving drinks and canapes, the venue looked gorgeous with everything perfected and in place and Jade was in full control. I could take back seat and enjoy our wedding. I wish it ended there, but unfortunately, we had a behavioral issue with a member of my family, to the point I was in tears and wanted to go home. Jade heard of this, found me, calmed me down and explained our options- none of which included the bride leaving the wedding reception! Eventually, Jade asked said person to leave the wedding, and despite some tantrums and further awful behavior, Jade made it clear to her that staying was not an option, and had her staff be aware in case of re-entry. Although an awful, and upsetting situation, Jade minimized the damage caused and managed to rescue our wedding day! Jade even got the band to play the first dance 2hrs late so that we didn't miss out on this too. Amazing woman, providing a truly invaluable service. You would be silly not to have ChapterJ involved with your big day!

We could not speak more highly of The Grange as a venue. The team support you right from square one becoming advisors, supporters, cheerleaders, rational but creative thinkers and friends. They have excellent supplier recommendations from caterers (Becka Cooper is a-class), florists (Wildbunch are so wonderful) and tech leads (Peachy Productions know the building like the back of their hand), to name a few. The nearby Abbotstone Farmhouse and Clock Tower make for superb guest accommodation where every commodity and need is thought of. We honestly can not fault any of it and as an events lead for almost a decade, the experience of planning our wedding there was just top tier. We adore them all and recommend it to everyone planning a wedding, party, away day, celebration and more!

Absolute perfection-- we LOVED our stay in the charming Clock Tower. Gorgeous and easy location, excellent amenities (great window treatments for letting in the sun or closing for privacy, very comfortable beds, crisp linens, full fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, well-stocked kitchen, multiple bathrooms with giant tub or rainfall shower), and everything you need for a short or long visit. There is so much to do in the area, and coming back to the apartment at night under the stars was magical. Tara and her team were so proactive and welcoming: definitely 10/10. They even provided welcome treats and local recommendations for children. It was the best stay of our whole trip. Thank you for a wonderful time-- the kids are asking to come back for a longer stay as soon as possible!

The Grange was the first venue we viewed and, from the moment we arrived, we knew that this would be the place where we would celebrate our wedding! Julia made us feel so welcome from our first meeting and, throughout the planning process, we were incredibly well looked after by the whole team. Tara was brilliant in helping us to fine tune the wedding weekend - we booked all of the on-site accommodation to allow our family, plus the bridesmaids and groomsmen to celebrate with us for the whole weekend, which was the best decision ever! A separate review for the accommodation will follow. They also recommended amazing suppliers, such as Becka Cooper (our joyful caterer who is a certified culinary genius) Ward-Brown (our incredible and fun-loving photographer who captured the attached photos), Wildbunch (our wonderful floristry team who made the most spectacular floral arrangements), Whitwams (who used thoughtfully arranged lighting and sound to bring the Grange to life) and Allens (who provided the pristine table linen and beautiful crockery and glassware). Now, for the wedding day! The emotion I felt when our vintage bus bumbled along the driveway and we got our first glimpse of the Grange is difficult to put into words, but (as cheesy as it sounds) it was a dream come true. When we arrived, Julia, Tara and Amanda were waiting with glasses of fizz and beaming smiles. The two years of teamwork had paid off! 💞 Throughout the wedding reception, all three wonderful ladies were mingling with our guests, attentively looking after us all and ensuring everything went smoothly. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the time of our lives all day and night. They even gave us a personalised card and a bottle of The Grange sparkling wine! They also captured their own wonderful footage, which they made into a reel for us to enjoy when we woke up the next morning. Right up until Midnight, the whole team waiting staff, lead by Amanda, were kind and attentive to all of our guests. We have had so many compliments since the wedding about the Grange team and their attention to detail, warmth and friendliness. They have also been described by multiple guests as ‘the best looking staff team’ they have ever seen! We honestly feel as though we have gained a new family since we booked our wedding two years ago, the Grange experience is like no other and we will be forever grateful for it! ✨

I recently organised a surprise 30th birthday weekend for my boyfriend at Abbotstone Farm House, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The team at The Grange were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure everything remained a surprise. Communicating with Tara was a pleasure—she was always efficient and responsive, and no question or request felt too big or small. The thoughtful welcome hamper was such a lovely touch and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The stay itself was amazing. Abbotstone Farm House is warm, charming, and beautifully homely, with plenty of space to relax, play games, and enjoy meals together. We were fortunate to catch some late summer sun, which meant we could make full use of the tennis court, private pool, and the estate’s extensive grounds. The evenings were cool enough to light the fires, which added an extra element of cosiness to our stay. There are a number of great activities available around the estate to choose from, but in the end, our group opted for the cider-making and tasting workshop. Fred and Patrick expertly guided us through the whole process, from picking apples and pressing them for juice to explaining how cider is made and letting us sample some of their own creations. They were both knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, making the experience a highlight of the weekend. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. I can confidently say, on behalf of all our friends, that we highly recommend staying at Abbotstone Farm House. Whether you’re planning a family gathering or a weekend away with friends, this place is a fantastic choice—we're already looking for an excuse to return!

Michelle is one incredible lady. She dressed our wedding venue with the most gorgeous drapes and hanging Ivy which fitted our themed perfectly, as well as provide a freestanding adjustable frame for a flower wall. Nothing was too much trouble, Michelle is extremely reliable and she is just a lovely lovely human being. She understands it’s a big day for the bride and groom and does everything in her power to make them feel special as well as ensure the decor is exactly how they want it. We hired Suzanne to organise my little sisters wedding. From the outset Suzanne was absolutely charming, knowledgeable, amazingly organised and clearly passionate about what she does. She took on board all of our ideas and used her experience and expertise to bring these to fruition. She was so much fun and had so many ideas and suggestions that we hadn't even thought of. Where do I start? . . . . . We had a lovely marquee wedding at the end of August and, to allow us to fully enjoy the day, we went looking for a wedding co-ordinator to run the day itself (as we were doing all the organising ourselves leading up to it) - what we ended up with was the Mary Poppins of wedding co-ordinators (complete with bottomless bag ready for ANY situation that may occur). Suzanne was everything we could have hoped for and more. From our first meeting with her, she presented herself as professional, experienced, dedicated and a truly lovely person to boot. While we didn't hire her services leading up to the wedding, she still made sure that she kept in touch, giving us little snippets of assistance in terms of where we were with our plans, drawing up a very comprehensive list of information to help with the structure of the day and checking in with us. Her insight when she came on a site visit was invaluable, to the point that we changed our intentions for where our guests entered (and what we finished with was truly perfect as well as feeling very natural). I was also able to reach out to Suzanne for help with other services, as her list of contacts was vast and each one with a proven track record (otherwise she wouldn't have recommended them), and it was down to her help that we were able to find a staffing agency for the waiters we needed. Her contacts also came in very, very useful as, a week before the wedding, our evening food supplier had to drop out. Suzanne was actually able to find some alternatives for us at such very late notice. Suzanne also insisted on coming onsite the day prior to the wedding to make sure that she was completely familiar with the set-up and what needed to be done the next day eg: We could set the tables up but the cutlery, crockery & glassware was arriving the morning of the wedding. When we arrived at the wedding, we were greeted by Suzanne and a member of staff with a) umbrellas (thankfully only needed for all of 5 minutes) and a drink, which was a lovely touch and epitomised the high level of excellence that Suzanne works to. We walked down the lawn to the marquee and when we got inside, it was the most incredibly magical experience - Suzanne had made sure that everything was exactly as it should be; the tables looked fantastic, the cake stand was brimming and everyone was laughing and talking with a Pimms or lemonade! Throughout the whole day, everything ran so incredibly smoothly with Suzanne's firm hand on the tiller. At no point did the service any of the staff provided seem rushed, lacking, or in any way anything other than amazing and that was down to her supervision; she had everything prepped and planned from the teapots & cake plates to the toast glasses and brownies. With a plane to catch the next day for her own 20th anniversary, Suzanne went well beyond the call of duty and at least the last hour of her time was off the clock as she just wanted to make sure that everything was sorted before she left, leaving us with so much less tidying to do ourselves the next day - it was great to see someone so invested in making your day special. Tom and Great British Events helped me plan my 32nd birthday in our home garden! Tom listened to my ideas from the start and was very prompt to answer even the smallest question. He was very attentive and incredibly accommodating. On the day of the party, Tom and his team were simply outstanding. They managed every aspect of the event with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The decorations, food, drinks, and entertainment were all top-notch, and my guests and I had an amazing time. Will be planning future events with them for sure!

Tom from Great British Events company is reliable and friendly. I had initially given him a concept and our meeting theme. He then came up with so many lovely ideas, keeping in mind the budget and the main focus of the event being wellbeing. He was proactive in offering solutions. Everyone loved the deco and the idea of a violinist to suit our theme was much appreciated. I will definitely get in touch with Tom again for future events. When it came to payment he was so patient till it all worked out according to our company guidelines. He does not push you but works alongside with you. Thank You Tom

He saw our vision and did an incredible job. Communication and costs were great and the team were so great and easy to work with.
