HP Building Services Sussex were brilliant from start to finish. Always on time and for someone on the autistic spectrum made the break in my usual routine a lot less stressful than I had anticipated. My flat has been totally transformed by the fantastic work of Harry and his team. I would definitely use Harry again should the need arise.

I had a very urgent job that needed doing asap at a residential block of flats. I contacted Harry the proprietor of JP Building Services on a Saturday and he agreed to come the same day to assess the job. He then agreed to get the bits he needed and come back the next day which was a Sunday and do what was necessary and everything was done by lunchtime at a very reasonable price. As a result of this totally brilliant service we are now considering using him for all our maintenance work in the future as he can cover most trades needed. Rick Moffatt

Trevor advertises as a handyman, but he is much more than that. He is a precision handyman. He always plans his work carefully, and then executes that plan with great accuracy. He has done 5 jobs for us now, the latest was the complete installation of a kitchen. The kitchen was from a mid-range supplier, Wren, but thanks to Trevor's attention to detail it looks like a kitchen that would have cost twice the price.

Trevor provides a fantastic service. He is very professional, but also friendly, which is important when you've go someone in your house. He came and put in 3 shelves in my airing cupboard, fitted around my water tank and he did a great job. Wasn't sure I would be able to get 3 shelves, but he managed it and they look awesome. Moved house 7 weeks ago and had a long list of things to get done from shelves in the kitchen/utility, a shed to build, a garden office to finish and so on. Trevor is working his way through the list and everything is done to a high standard. He has such a broad range of skills, never over commits and is reliable. He is also a very decent guy. Recommend him highly for a wide range of jobs.

Will did a perfect job - putting up curtain poles - really efficient, and with no fuss or bother at all. Arrived promptly, worked steadily, and was all-round excellence.

Will arrived bang on time, and fixed several repairs. a lovely job on repairing/rehanging our wooden gate so that it opens properly, reglazing a shed window where the frame was rotten, and started work on repairing parts of our decking. Will came to my rescue and put up x2 curtains poles for me as I had difficulty with the brick/concrete walls and I was too scared to drill through them, It may seem like a minor job but it’s made all the difference to my house feeling like a home. I managed to call a lot Garderners and managements and they’ve quoted more than we could afford and I called these group of lads and they did come and agreed . HBS has just completed the installation of our new kitchen and bathroom. The entire team was exceptionally professional from start to finish. They were incredibly accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The quality of the work was outstanding, and their attention to detail was superb. We have had four jobs done by Tim. He treated our fence panels and shed, decorated a cupboard, treated, repaired and decorated a second cupboard with a bad damp problem. The life saver was fixing rails up the stairs. All the work has been done to a high standard as Tim takes great pride in his work. He is punctual and a very clean worker leaving everywhere clean and tidy.

Tim redecorated my kitchen to a high quality including some minor repairs. He kept to his original dates and arrived promply every morning for four days. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and we are extremely pleased with the result. I would recommend him to anyone requiring a true professional workman.

3 Jobs all completed to a high standard. The first was a cupboard that used to house the boiler in our kitchen. It just had the door and needed the upper lower and sides of the cupboard put in and some new shelves. It wasn't a standard size though, hence the need for someone with Tim's skills to make this right, which he did. Next job was the surround to a new a loft hatch, on an uneven ceiling, Tim completed this to a high standard and the surround now looks perfectly flat. Next was a kitchen door frame which our cats hat ripped to shreds, Tim filled this, sanded and primed and finished with white paint. The door had to be removed and when refitting, requiring a little taken off the door for it to close nicely. Tim did all this to get the job done correctly. Very pleased with the can do approach, every obstacle overcome and he just got on with it, which was ideal. As you'd expect he had all the right tools for the job, even brought his own Vacuum cleaner and broom, once the work is done you can immediately enjoy the excellent results. On top of this Tim is very approachable, even our cats liked his calm demeanour and it was pleasant to have Tim working in our house, I can highly recommend him without hesitation and am hoping to use his services again.

We have used Tim twice now - for various work from reroofing a shed, painting a room to a whole week of wallpapering our hall. He is very professional, reliable, tidy, meticulous & friendly. It's always hard to find someone you can trust for home repairs so Tim is great - he's normally booked out many months in advance which is a good testament to his work! Highly recommend.
