Adrian has just redecorated my 2 bedroomed flat between tenants . He offered advice on the best colour to keep the flat bright and fresh and it now looks very modern. Adrian left no mess, and kept to his quote. He is a perfectionist and even tidied up additional areas so the paint work all matched . I will definetly use him again

I had a reasonably large bedroom and a living room 'feature wall' redecorated by Adrian. He offered good advise on some historic mold and damp damage, treated it and completed the decoration work to an excellent standard. He was clean and tidy, completed ahead of schedule, and the quote was accurate and reasonable. Would highly recommend him.

The HBS team were excellent from start to finish with a fire door replacement. Prompt, clear, and regular communication prior to the installation, professional service throughout (including working late to fix a problem with a piece of the fitting), and good quality assurance and follow-up. We will be using HBS again for our next work! (In fact we already are.)

I had a very urgent job that needed doing asap at a residential block of flats. I contacted Harry the proprietor of JP Building Services on a Saturday and he agreed to come the same day to assess the job. He then agreed to get the bits he needed and come back the next day which was a Sunday and do what was necessary and everything was done by lunchtime at a very reasonable price. As a result of this totally brilliant service we are now considering using him for all our maintenance work in the future as he can cover most trades needed. Rick Moffatt

HP is the best of the best. I had a nasty couple of leaks in my very high up warehouse roof at the gym I own that were affecting my business, as well as some essential maintenance required. They quickly organised the scaffold and carried out the complex repair within 1 week of being called. The price was good, he is very tidy and professional, and the leak is fixed. Great communication too. I highly recommend HP and will call again if I need anything further.

HP Building Services Sussex were brilliant from start to finish. Always on time and for someone on the autistic spectrum made the break in my usual routine a lot less stressful than I had anticipated. My flat has been totally transformed by the fantastic work of Harry and his team. I would definitely use Harry again should the need arise.

Found Don on Google and read reviews, all positive, being a sceptic I felt 5*ratings were too good to be true as I've been let down so many times by handymen; decided to give him a try him anyway. I was impressed as Don communicated and responded to emails /texts (hooray good start), arranged a convenient time, arrived promptly, got the job done (put blinds up) no messing about. He certainly deserves 5*, I can however see he's going to be more and more in demand as word gets out as to how organised he his, credit to the trade;shame about the cowboys!

We needed someone to help with a variety of tasks in the house and garden following a house move and came across Don on Google. Dons response to our initial contact was prompt and he was clear about when he was next available, which thankfully wasn’t too long (a couple of weeks at that time). On top of this positive first impression, Don asked us to email over a list of jobs that needed doing (in order that he could ensure he brought the right tools and equipment on the day) - another promising sign of someone who is well organised! When we met Don we were delighted with his positive, can-do attitude and high standard of his workmanship. He is very professional, reliable, flexible, trustworthy, knowledgeable hard working and efficient (getting tasks done in the blink of an eye which would have taken us hours, several trips to the hardware shop and a lot of stress). Found Don yesterday via Google, although we had an urgent requirement to fit a new shower enclosure, he managed to fit us in to his schedule at short notice. Tom and his team were highly dedicated, hard working and did a fantastic job for us, on what was not an easy build. We did a 2 story extension with multiple internal changes requiring lots of walls to be removed and steel work put in place. The job was completed in 5 months which we found to be remarkable given the level of complexity and work the job required. Tom’s communication we found to be absolutely excellent and something we feel Tom does incredibly well. No job goes perfectly with problems cropping up along the way but when issues arose, Tom was a fantastic problem solver and kept the job moving at pace. Would thoroughly recommend Tom and his team! TJC Construction would, without a doubt, always be my first choice. Months of searching, then thankfully our engineer introduced Tom. A tricky lintel repair, on the ground floor of a 3 storey building; the width of the building. Every aspect of the work was professional. I salute Tom and his men and can't recommend them strongly enough. We thought, at first that a complete replacement was necessary, but Tom carried out a perfect repair. TJC construction finished a year long renovation on our house in June 2023. From the quote which was a detailed breakdown of costs, to Building Control and completion, Tom and his team were amazing, friendly, professional and hard working; including all Sundays and Bank Holidays, which was really refreshing to see. Tom listened to our ideas and always gave us the pros and cons of changes we made and was always willing to help achieve our vision. Both Tom and his team were also good at suggesting ways ahead and ideas from their wealth of experience. Our house looks fantastic with work completed to a high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend TJC construction to family and friends.

We used Tom and TJC Construction for a major house renovation and extension project; taking a largely untouched 1970's house, doubling the footprint, and turning into a beautiful modern family home. It was a 12 month job start to finish and came with all the challenges you would expect with a project this size (delays from southern water, the increase of building material costs, the British weather... etc). Throughout the whole project Tom communicated regularly and openly with us. We always understood what was going on, the reason for any changes or delays, and the plan for what was happening next. It was clear he had a close hand on all work being undertaken throughout the project and we have been impressed with all the tradesmen brought in throughout - all of whom work regular for him. The end result is brilliant - there is no such thing as an easy build project, but picking the right person to manage a project of this scale makes all the difference. I couldn't recommend Tom highly enough and the quality of the finish speaks for itself.
