Phoned Ed to fix a TV bracket on to a wall and mount the TV. He came within 2 hrs of the call. I made a mess trying to do this myself. He was punctual, very tidy and professional. He went the extra mile to fill the extra holes I made trying to do it myself with the Filler and fixed the nails to hang other two items. He quoted a reasonable price as well. Thank you!

Was very pleased with the work undertaken, which was assembling 4 IKEA bedside cabinets and one chest of drawers, and also hanging a mirror on the wall. Very nice guy and would recommend and will use again if I need anything done.

Excellent service and reasonably priced. Will came to my rescue and put up x2 curtains poles for me as I had difficulty with the brick/concrete walls and I was too scared to drill through them, It may seem like a minor job but it’s made all the difference to my house feeling like a home. Will arrived on time. He assessed what was needed and completed the jobs quickly and efficiently. He refitted a blind that had previously been put up incorrectly, refitted a curtain pole and put up two new light fittings. He was neat and tidy with his work and was a reasonable price. Will arrived bang on time, and fixed several repairs. a lovely job on repairing/rehanging our wooden gate so that it opens properly, reglazing a shed window where the frame was rotten, and started work on repairing parts of our decking. All this and dismantling a pergola in 3 hours! Will is polite, timely and a worker of "old-school" sustainable values. We are already looking for the next batch of work for him! Highly recommended those who need service from Uk Handiman . I had a lot knotweeds growing in my property that’s disturbing and disgusting for us . I managed to call a lot Garderners and managements and they’ve quoted more than we could afford and I called these group of lads and they did come and agreed . Chris came and removed all wallpaper from my lounge and dining room filled my walls and rubbed down all imperfections to leave a perfect smooth wall and then repainted all walls ceilings and woodwork to a very High standard. Dayan replaced some LED lights for me in the garage.He was very calm, professional, well organised while being very easy to liaise with. Found Dayan via Google, I usually like to go via personal recommendation but the Google reviews were great and I needed my TV mounting quite quickly. I was initially booked in a few days ahead, which was appreciated given my late request, but as Dayan had an appointment change he contacted me and was able to help me on the day! Dayan was very friendly and reassuring and got the job done neatly and quickly. I would definitely use him again. Thank you!

We found Dayan and the team on Google to help us out with technical domestic jobs for our mum at her home. Dayan and his team are extremely friendly, are always on hand to help and are really understanding with clear communication. Additionally, their rates are very competitive and to a high standard. We really fell on our feet having Simon and Gordon as our builders. We had our garage converted, extensive work on our dining room and kitchen, and had a new porch added to our house. They were with us every step of the way. They advised on room lay out, design and practical stuff like where to put plugs. They thought about the needs of a family and how best to set out a space we would enjoy living in. I was impressed by their professionalism, friendliness, trustworthiness and honesty. They have a broad range of skills and great practical intelligence. I liked listening to them solve problems with the building work. They thought innovatively and always came up with a great solution. The building work happened at a time of supply chain challenges and building material cost increases. Simon and Gordon predicted what would be difficult to source and got orders in early. They would suggest ways to save money and think of alternatives when we came up against a block. One of the benefits of working with Simon and Gordon was their friends from across the building trade. They work closely with people who lay floors, a carpenter, an electrician etc. They have a flair for recognising talented builders and working with them. They were also able to coordinate when different people were needed to ensure the smooth delivery of the work. They were in my home most days for a number of months. We lived in the house the whole time. They were careful to work around our needs e.g. ensuring that the kitchen was out of order for the minimum time possible and ensuring we always had a sink to use for washing up. When our building work ended we missed their company! We are very pleased with the final result. We had not imagined what they could accomplish and are very grateful. We would not hesitate recommending them or the other professionals they work closely with. We will upload some photo's of the finished house - here are some from the process.

We chose Gordon after watching him and his team add an upper floor to our daughter's bungalow. We were impressed by their approach to the job and by the end result. We had an extension built and numerous renovations around the house undertaken. Gordon followed the architect's plans carefully, but made suggestions along the way when the building work uncovered things (such as a pre-existing pillar) which made an alternative approach sensible. Each time he clearly described the pros and cons of the options and allowed us to decide. It was clear that we could trust Gordon. Moreover, as Gordon works on a time and materials basis (rather than fixed price) we already knew that he would not be tempted to use short cuts or to hide mistakes. Gordon's estimate for our job compared favourably with the fixed price quote we had received. We did spend more than his original estimate, but that was because we added items along the way as they occurred to us. However, the total cost of the project including the extra items was still slightly less than the original fixed price quote. Gordon maintained a high standard of personal workmanship, and the other members of his team (carpenter, plumber, electrician and plasterer) followed his example. Their work still draws compliments from people who walk pass the house - five months after completion. We had a warm friendly relationship with all members of the team during what could have been a highly stressful time. It helped that Gordon managed the project throughout in his calm reassuring manner. He managed not just his own team but also suppliers and building control. We were very happy with the end result, and like others before us we would wholeheartedly recommend Winchester Builders.

I'm delighted to add to Gordon's 5 star reviews. What do you want from a builder? Gordon is a delight to have around, his work is impeccable and clean and he is delightful to chat with. He arrived early and punctually each day and project managed the other contractors brilliantly ( Plasterer, plumber, electrician) When problems arose, as they inevitably do, Gordon was always thinking of, and discussing, the resolution options. The project completed to time, to budget, and with remarkably few stressful moments. I'd highly recommend.

I thoroughly recommend Winchester Builders. The work they have done has been completed beautifully and the finish is high end excellent. The guys are pleasant and trustworthy - a joy to have around, give great advice and always leave the house tidy before they leave. The tradespeople they collaborate with have also all been excellent. I would not consider using anyone else for a project and have recommended them highly to friends and family.
