These guys are great. We've used them twice now after receiving a recommendation from a friend and we've been really impressed with the work they've done on our house. They listen to what is required and offer really sensible suggestions when necessary. Communication has been excellent and they do a really high quality finish. We will be using them again and we would definitely reccomend them to others.

We were recommended Bitterne Building Contractors by a friend who had been really pleased with their work. We needed someone to repair our fences that were damaged in the high winds and didn’t know if they would be interested in a small job. They quickly got back to us with a date and cost and completed the work to a high standard and our complete satisfaction. They are friendly, efficient and tidy and I would be happy to recommend them.

We have used this company several times and I have recommended their services to anyone who needs reliable, honest, tidy, polite and high quality craftsmanship. They even came at no notice to a neighbour who had a tree fall through their roof and sorted everything out immediately. The two Jamies and Charlotte work extremely hard with their team and absolutely deserve the 5 star rating. I am extremely hard to please and I rarely give maximum stars to anyone - so well done Bitterne Builders!

I had a 2 doors away 40ft marquee blow in to garden at 530 am todsy and i was in garden with my animal. It lifted up so high, landed swinging around and was edging closer to my windows with metal poles flying all over the place. I called these guys very early as was so worried. They came within 90 mins and dismantled. No trouble and great guys. Safe now.👍

Harry decorated our hall, stairs and landing. It was a complicated job but he worked really hard and we are thrilled with the finish. Everything was perfect and he left the area clean and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to have him back again.

Harry has just finished doing 10 of my windows, a summer house, front porch an outhouse door. When he came round to quote, I knew straight away that he was going to an excellent job on what were tired and in some places, rotted windows. He replaced a number of beads and expertly restored the rest. To say I’m pleased with what’s he’s done, just doesn’t do justice to the massive amount of hard graft and amazing attention to detail he showed. I’m absolutely delighted with the results. I would recommend Harry in a heartbeat.

Tommy and Mitch converted two cupboards into a downstairs toilet for us. They were incredibly helpful from the first visit to the time they finished. Our house threw a few challenges at them but they dealt with it all very professionally, were thorough, communicative and considerate and took care around our house. The quality of the finished room was really high and we're very happy and it was all for a very fair cost. I'd have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

We needed some external work done on the house where the previous render/paint had failed, pealing in places which was causing rain to penetrate to the internal walls. I obtained a few quotes through Checkatrade and whilst Hugh’s was not the cheapest he was the most professional in coming up with a solution. Hugh and Gary are professional, polite, honest gentleman, kept us up to date on the progress and have done a fantastic job with the exterior of the house. Will definitely be looking to use them again for other house maintenance .

Very pleased indeed with the painting that the team did, excellent prep including repairing a very large hole in the plaster that I unexpectedly uncovered the day before they arrived! Outstanding Service from Hugh at Onpoint! I cannot recommend Hugh from Onpoint highly enough! He recently completed a significant flooring and bathroom renovation at my rental flat, and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, Hugh demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a level of communication that truly sets him apart. The scope of work included lifting existing vinyl floor tiles, assessing the subfloor, and installing beautiful light oak-coloured 100% waterproof LVT flooring in the bathroom. Hugh also handled the installation of a new shower screen, along with a host of other tasks such as refitting the bath panel, sealing the toilet pan, and ensuring everything was securely reinstalled. He even went above and beyond by assessing for leaks, unblocking the basin and bath lines, and conducting a camera inspection to survey for any potential issues. His attention to detail was impeccable, and he left the property spotless, removing all associated waste. What really stood out was Hugh’s outstanding communication. Roof hip tiles reinstallation - Trevor and team did a 5* job of removing and reseating two full rows of hip tiles which had come detached from old cracked mortar. Trevor swooped in to save the day after we got canceled on by the previous guy that was supposed to help us refurbish our flat. Great work ethic, reliable and fair are just a few words that describe Trevor perfectly.
