Well it’s been nearly a year since Pete and Andy and the team took on my loft conversion. I can say that their professionalism, skill and just hard work finished my project on time to the day !!! A few friends of ours recommended Bassett Carpentry for our kitchen extension. We couldn’t be happier with the work and would recommend them to anyone else. Our extension was not straight forward but Andy & Pete were so easy to deal with. They were honest and upfront with costs, and kept to the agreed price plans. Their team who completed the electrics and plumbing were also superb. We were very nervous as this was our first project, but Bassett Carpentry exceeded all expectations and did the perfect job. They also installed the kitchen itself, which we love. We are very grateful and actually missed having them around once the extension was complete! Thank you so much.

Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! Andy and Pete, with Nick and Graham, carried out our loft conversion this year and we are so happy with their work. What we liked best was their time-keeping (they ran exactly to schedule) and costing (they ran exactly to quote, except for some extras that we requested). As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.

Mike has done a wonderful job in fitting all new doors, and built in wardrobes, they look lovely and I am so happy with everything will definitely recommend Mike, and will have other work done when needed

Mike has done a number of jobs for us in our home. This has included relocation and fitting a new loft hatch and ladder, removing and replacing our lounge flooring and joists. He was always clean, tidy and courteous, producing great work.

Mike fitted drawer storage in the space we had under the stairs. His work was excellent. He has taken extreme care to ensure the completed cupboard fits and works perfectly. I have been using Lewis and the Team for some time now, the quality of workmanship is excellent, Lewis consistently goes out of his way to make sure we are looked after and Gareth and Craig are great guys, I would highly recommend.

Lewis advised and replaced the bannisters on our stairs. He did a great job and was polite and courteous. I will be using his services again…. And I did, this time to replace all our internal doors with oak ones. Craig and Garath did an amazing job; they were really friendly and polite and left no mess.

The experience from start to finish has been fantastic! I was given a really reasonable quote, and though additional costs were added (due to extra work which needed to be carried out) these were also really reasonably priced and I was kept well informed about it before the work was carried out. I'd also discovered what can only be described as a nightmare of hidden pipework under the old larder (before work was due to be carried out), and though my own worries about this caused delays with the work starting, Lewis was really supportive in addressing this and was really quick to respond to all of my concerns. Garath fitted my new cabinets, moved my extractor fan/boxing, replaced my windowsill and also worked on a few extra areas in the kitchen and I'm honestly impressed with how good it all looks! All his work has been topnotch and throughout the process he was always polite and took the trouble to answer any questions I had. Work was also finished really quickly which was a bonus! My thanks to you both - can't recommend highly enough!

Excellent job carried out by Craig to create a throughway from one loft to another to gain access. Advice was professional and an awkward job was completed promptly. I would highly recommend Lewis Edward Carpentry and won’t hesitate contacting them again when a need arises.

We need 5 doors replaced and a new doorway created. Paul removed old the old doors and replaced them with new oak doors. Also created a new door way for the new door and did some repairs to the cabin in our garden. He was always very friendly and helpful throughout with suggestion to overcome some unforeseen problems. Highly recommended.

I asked Paul to deal with a number of jobs, including repairs to timber sash windows, boarding over an outside doorway, and repairing fencing. I am very pleased with the results. Paul is a lovely man. He always arrived on time and left everything tidy. Price was reasonable too. Highly recommend.

We asked Harrison to build us alcove units and shelves. He is polite, courteous and professional. His work is brilliant, we were really impressed with what he put together. He’s very neat and a pleasure to have doing work in our house. We will be back for more jobs to improve our home.

Hired HB Carpentry to build/bring together a media wall and fit skirting boards. Harrison and the team were so professional from start to finish. Having just completed an extension project, I’ve been dealing with lots of tradesmen and most of them lacked customer service! This company didn’t and it was so refreshing - it made such a difference. They were on time, communication was great and Harrison went above and beyond to complete the job to an exceptional standard. Would definitely recommend!! Beyond happy with the jobs!!

Harrison always arrived on time whilst doing all the jobs around my house in Hythe. He gave me a quote for the jobs I needed doing as I asked and broke everything down for me. If he was running a bit behind schedule he would call me to let me know if he got stuck in heavy traffic on route to me, which was really good of him. The under stairs cupboard he made to measure and fitted was of the highest quality and we were very pleased with all of his work. Harrison would also advise me if he thought something that I needed doing would be better another way which was also really good of him. He also fitted a number of floating shelves for me. Made and fitted some bedroom shelves in a cupboard along with some airing cupboard shelves. Refitted and hung 5 internal doors. 2 with new door handles. Hung a new folding door. Made to measure bedroom cupboard hiding a stair case which is just perfect. Hung some mirrors for me and also put up our 75 inch TV on the wall with wall brackets. Made sure the TV was in the centre of the wall nice and level to the eyes. ALL the work he did for us we were really pleased with. Always put down dust sheets and cleared and cleaned up when he finished. I will be using Harrison again for some more jobs in my parents home I have already told him this. I would not hesitate passing on and SHOWING OF all the work he has done for us to anyone. I have also told Harrison that if anyone wants to show the work he has done to any of his customers he is more then welcome to bring them along. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

NEW Kitchen worktop install! Harrison was excellent from start to finish, he gave us an initial quote from measurements we sent to him, he then came to our home to take final measurements before ordering all of the materials. He was super flexible when we were required to move dates due to re plastering our kitchen. His communication was excellent, phone, email , WhatsApp, how ever we communicated he was always quick to respond. We are super happy with the level of work and professionalism. The new oak worktops installed by Harrison have completely transformed our kitchen!

James did a fantastic job fitting our CloppenBourne kitchen and all of the internal oak doors. James is reliable, friendly and professional. I highly recommend James and I would not hesitate to book James again for future work on my house.

From the first visit where he provided us with a quote right to the completion of the work, I found James to be honest, reliable and hard working. James built us a media wall with 8 inserts, 6 to be used as shelves and the other 2 for a tv and fireplace. The request was to ensure it is fully symmetrical and for it to be plastered and painted to match our main wall in the living room. The finished product is exactly what I asked for. This also included closing off our open stairs to create under stairs storage and to remove an old exposed brick fireplace. James organised the plasterers and electricians and completed everything else himself. James was vocal throughout the whole project so I knew exactly what the plan was and he made sure I was comfortable with all the smaller details before he proceeded with each step. The work was completed to a high standard, within the agreed timescales and the original quote was honoured. I chose James over companies I had been recommended as he gave me the most confidence in getting the work done and he even came over to quote the work during the Christmas break! Although this came with some apprehension as I didn’t know him, I’m very happy I chose this route. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommended James going forward and I look forward to working with him again.

His attention to detail and care in meeting our requirements, from visiting to take the measurements of the existing door frame & windows, to matching the colour and glazing to our requirements, and advising on materials has resulted in a product that we are delighted with. We needed some custom wooden signs, engraved and painted, for our exhibit at the Chelsea Flower Show. And we needed them fast! Mark of Bespoke4Joinery came back with a very competiive quote to begin with. In fact he very patiently gave us several competitive quotes as we gave him design changes almost daily. After all that he still reduced it further as part of their price match policy. Mark's expert advice and humour was apprecaited as we nailed down exactly what we needed. We confirmed the order at the 11th hour and it really didn't seem like they would have enough time to complete the work. Mark assured us it would be fine, and in fact the work was ready a day early and better than the original specifcation as improvements had been made to the base of the signs. We had a member of staff in the area to collect the work, but it transpired her car was too small for it to fit. Most companies might consider that not their problem, but not Bespoke4Joinery. Mark took time out of his own evening to deliver the work to us himself. This gesture was really appreciated by us and it was a pleasure to meet Mark. The finished product is high quality, and the customer experience was great throughout. Would give 6 stars out of 5.

These guys are amazing. Look at the before and after pictures of a truly difficult and very bespoke job carried out with enthusiasm, skill and patience. The solid oak feature is truly magnificent I couldn't have wished for any better and my wife was amazed "priceless".
