Mike has done a number of jobs for us in our home. This has included relocation and fitting a new loft hatch and ladder, removing and replacing our lounge flooring and joists. He was always clean, tidy and courteous, producing great work.

Mike fitted drawer storage in the space we had under the stairs. His work was excellent. He has taken extreme care to ensure the completed cupboard fits and works perfectly. We asked Harrison to build us alcove units and shelves. He is polite, courteous and professional. His work is brilliant, we were really impressed with what he put together. He’s very neat and a pleasure to have doing work in our house. We will be back for more jobs to improve our home.

Harrison always arrived on time whilst doing all the jobs around my house in Hythe. He gave me a quote for the jobs I needed doing as I asked and broke everything down for me. If he was running a bit behind schedule he would call me to let me know if he got stuck in heavy traffic on route to me, which was really good of him. The under stairs cupboard he made to measure and fitted was of the highest quality and we were very pleased with all of his work. Harrison would also advise me if he thought something that I needed doing would be better another way which was also really good of him. He also fitted a number of floating shelves for me. Made and fitted some bedroom shelves in a cupboard along with some airing cupboard shelves. Refitted and hung 5 internal doors. 2 with new door handles. Hung a new folding door. Made to measure bedroom cupboard hiding a stair case which is just perfect. Hung some mirrors for me and also put up our 75 inch TV on the wall with wall brackets. Made sure the TV was in the centre of the wall nice and level to the eyes. ALL the work he did for us we were really pleased with. Always put down dust sheets and cleared and cleaned up when he finished. I will be using Harrison again for some more jobs in my parents home I have already told him this. I would not hesitate passing on and SHOWING OF all the work he has done for us to anyone. I have also told Harrison that if anyone wants to show the work he has done to any of his customers he is more then welcome to bring them along. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Hired HB Carpentry to build/bring together a media wall and fit skirting boards. Harrison and the team were so professional from start to finish. Having just completed an extension project, I’ve been dealing with lots of tradesmen and most of them lacked customer service! This company didn’t and it was so refreshing - it made such a difference. They were on time, communication was great and Harrison went above and beyond to complete the job to an exceptional standard. Would definitely recommend!! Beyond happy with the jobs!!

A few friends of ours recommended Bassett Carpentry for our kitchen extension. We couldn’t be happier with the work and would recommend them to anyone else. Our extension was not straight forward but Andy & Pete were so easy to deal with. They were honest and upfront with costs, and kept to the agreed price plans. Their team who completed the electrics and plumbing were also superb. We were very nervous as this was our first project, but Bassett Carpentry exceeded all expectations and did the perfect job. Updating my review following a second job completed by Pete and Andy - excellent job again, and can thoroughly recommend - the work that they do is of the highest quality, but they are also very good post-completion at coming back for any snagging - have always felt everything is well communicated and have stuck to quoted prices. No hesitation in recommending and would certainly use them again.

Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! For your interest I attach before, during and after photos of their work here in Chandler's Ford We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Lewis advised and replaced the bannisters on our stairs. He did a great job and was polite and courteous. I will be using his services again…. And I did, this time to replace all our internal doors with oak ones. Craig and Garath did an amazing job; they were really friendly and polite and left no mess.

The experience from start to finish has been fantastic! I was given a really reasonable quote, and though additional costs were added (due to extra work which needed to be carried out) these were also really reasonably priced and I was kept well informed about it before the work was carried out. I'd also discovered what can only be described as a nightmare of hidden pipework under the old larder (before work was due to be carried out), and though my own worries about this caused delays with the work starting, Lewis was really supportive in addressing this and was really quick to respond to all of my concerns. Garath fitted my new cabinets, moved my extractor fan/boxing, replaced my windowsill and also worked on a few extra areas in the kitchen and I'm honestly impressed with how good it all looks! All his work has been topnotch and throughout the process he was always polite and took the trouble to answer any questions I had. Work was also finished really quickly which was a bonus! My thanks to you both - can't recommend highly enough!

We need 5 doors replaced and a new doorway created. Paul removed old the old doors and replaced them with new oak doors. Also created a new door way for the new door and did some repairs to the cabin in our garden. He was always very friendly and helpful throughout with suggestion to overcome some unforeseen problems. Highly recommended.

James from Precise Carpentry was nothing short of amazing—he got the job done far quicker than I expected and executed every detail flawlessly the first time around. From the first visit where he provided us with a quote right to the completion of the work, I found James to be honest, reliable and hard working. James built us a media wall with 8 inserts, 6 to be used as shelves and the other 2 for a tv and fireplace. The request was to ensure it is fully symmetrical and for it to be plastered and painted to match our main wall in the living room. The finished product is exactly what I asked for. This also included closing off our open stairs to create under stairs storage and to remove an old exposed brick fireplace. James organised the plasterers and electricians and completed everything else himself. James was vocal throughout the whole project so I knew exactly what the plan was and he made sure I was comfortable with all the smaller details before he proceeded with each step. The work was completed to a high standard, within the agreed timescales and the original quote was honoured. I chose James over companies I had been recommended as he gave me the most confidence in getting the work done and he even came over to quote the work during the Christmas break! Although this came with some apprehension as I didn’t know him, I’m very happy I chose this route. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommended James going forward and I look forward to working with him again.

We highly recommend Mark Lloyd. His work is outstanding and precise. A true craftsman. Nothing too much trouble. Clean and tidy. We had new oak balustrades and newel posts. Also wood panelling as you can see in the photos.

Booked Mark to fit 4 internal doors after he did such a great job fitting a kitchen worktop for us. Mark arrived on the day agreed, on time. Measured the individual frames (all different sizes!), removed the old doors, cut the doors to size, fitted the door handles & added an additional hinge for each door. During his visit, Mark was friendly, professional & tidied up after he'd finished the job. He cut the old doors in half to make it easier for me to dispose of them. And he took away some wood that needed to be edged / bevelled as he didn't have the tools woth him and returned it a couple of days later which I will be making into a table. New doors look great (still need to be painted though) & fit perfectly. Another great job by Mark. Again, woud happily recommend Mark for your woodwork needs. Thanks Mark.

Mark came and refurbished our banister. When he came to assess the job he discussed style and materials with us to ensure he knew what we envisaged for our home. We agreed a date for the work. He let us know traffic was making him a few minutes late arriving. He coped magnificently with the uneven wall and woodwork which the house builder had left us. The resulting job looks very good. He put down covers and cleaned up after working. We would definitely recommend Mark.
