Tom is a very good carpenter, we had cladding put up the stairs and bedroom, he is very precise, having to tackle the unevenness of our old home , very polite and friendly. We’ve continued to use him whenever work is needed

Tom is a very reliable and skilled carpenter. He sorted out a tricky job for us where others may not have been willing. He did an absolutely beautiful job and we have been left with a very precisely built and smart wardrobe. He was super cheerful and bashed on independently and I would happily trust him with any other work we have. He was also bang on time and left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommend him to others but book him early as he’s in demand!

We got Tom round to build a slim shoe storage unit in behind our front door. The quality of his workmanship was exceptional and we are very pleased. It’s going to look epic once painted. Strong recommend! 👌

Jamie of Farnham Woodwork has undertaken two projects for us over the past few months, one exterior and one interior. He designed and built a beautiful decking area with integrated pergola, which has magically transformed our garden. We are so excited about what it will add to our lives, especially with Summer approaching. In our living room he created a wonderful multi-media cabinet to house our television and all associated audio-visual equipment. He worked with us through a very helpful design consultation and achieved our brief far beyond our expectations, the result is truly stunning! From the beginning to the end of the projects Jamie was a lovely enthusiastic hard worker and really attentive to what I wanted. It was great to be able to share freely what I wanted and to have an expert put this into reality. The attention to detail was incredible 👍 I had Jamie make/create a beautiful oak coffee table, decking in the garden and a vegetable planter. AJC Came to the rescue of Hartley Wintney Scouts after a break in at the Scout hut damaged the front doors beyond repair. They came out the same day to assess the damage then very generously came back and fitted us a new set of fire doors. There service is excellent and the standard of work top notch.

We are absolutely delighted with the work that Richard and his team have carried out for us recently. They blitzed our various jobs over four days and that included building and installing bespoke under stair storage cupboards/shelves/hangers. Every single member of the team was very easy to have around the house and the end result looks fantastic. Highly recommended!

We spent a couple of years working design features with our architect and getting planning permission for our 3 bay car barn. We ran a competitive pricing process and were very impressed with the enthusiasm and attention to detail by Richard. This came through in the construction and in the culture of the Barnwood team as we met and worked with Callum, Haydn, Ben and Chris. Tabitha was also the engine that drove the project from the program, cost and contract perspective always overcoming those pesky issues that arise. This was not a straightforward build. Ground conditions, retaining wall, levels, existing structures all had to be either built, removed or adapted to suit. Richard and the team kept the site spotless and did everything in house. It’s such a pleasure to meet craftsmen that care and have the capability to meet conditions and solve the issues of the day in their stride. We will continue to use Barnwood as we improve our home and its grounds. Having spent 40 years in the construction industry I found this build a pleasure to be involved with and can wholeheartedly recommend the Barnwood team

Richard and his team were great when we called them up to repair some rotting timbers on our 400yr old cottage! They took everything on their stride and kept us informed every step. They were clean and tidy, and completed the job on time and budget. Richard also returned at short notice a few weeks later when we found another very rotten timber. All work was carried out to an exceptional standard and blends in with the original wall perfectly. Highly recommended, and worth waiting for.

I have been using Lewis and the Team for some time now, the quality of workmanship is excellent, Lewis consistently goes out of his way to make sure we are looked after and Gareth and Craig are great guys, I would highly recommend.

Lewis advised and replaced the bannisters on our stairs. He did a great job and was polite and courteous. I will be using his services again…. And I did, this time to replace all our internal doors with oak ones. Craig and Garath did an amazing job; they were really friendly and polite and left no mess.

Gareth who works for Lewis is fantastic and the workmanship in fitting our kitchen has been incredible. There has been a lot of pride taken in making everything top Notch. Christian has completed plastering work in 3 of my rooms over the past 2 years. He is by far the best plasterer I have ever used and his work is excellent. Christian and his colleagues leave everything super tidy too when they finish which is fab 🙂

Christian is a fantastic craftsman at whatever he turns his hand to and has completed a super tiling job in two of our bathrooms. Both his attention to detail and hard work ethic set him apart from other tradesmen. He’s very friendly, easy to work with and always completes what he sets out to do in the timely manner. BM Carpentry and Building recently reconstructed our kitchen, dining room and hallway into a modern spacious kitchen diner, including replacing double glazed rear door and two windows. We are very pleased with the finished spacious room. BM Carpentry and Building employed supporting specialist tradesmen who were also very professional. Brett built a bespoke pottery studio for us and we are really pleased. It was a slightly awkward space but he understood what we wanted and gave us the best design and quote. BM carpentry and building carried out our loft conversion and we really couldn’t be happier. The entire project - from initial conversations - until the final completion was so professional and the end result is perfect. Brett communicated clearly with us at each step and was very patient when explaining what needed to be done at each stage and what we should expect. We felt Brett really cared about our views and whether we were happy and he was fully committed to completing in the time frame he had laid out for us.
