Mark at MKH Carpentry and Joinery has completed a number of jobs for us, and all have been to a brilliant standard. Two built-in wardrobes, a window seat, understairs storage cupboards, built-in bookcases and cabinets, and eaves storage. From the design process to finishing touches, Mark is a true professional and I would have no hesitation recommending him to others. Our go to joiner!

We first came across Mark a good few years ago when we wanted fitted drawers and wardrobes doing in an eaves bedroom. I drew a quick sketch of cupboards above and drawers below with some photos of the room and Mark came back with a CAD drawing which was exactly what we wanted. We booked him and he did the job for us. We were thrilled. When we had a loft conversion done some years later and wanted a run of cupboards in the bedroom that became the landing, including an office cupboard in the middle, there was only one person we were going to ask. Again, I outlined what I wanted, we had a bit of a chat via email and we came up with a design which Mark built and fitted. Subsequently he has done us a built in cupboard in an alcove in the bathroom and also a bespoke door for the under stairs cupboard. Mark is a really nice bloke, I am more than happy to have in my house with the family around. The guy that fitted my doors took one look at Mark's work and said enviously 'That guy's good'.

Mark carried out some extensive carpentry work on our home and did an absolutely fantastic job. His attention to detail and quality of workmanship are excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

We were absolutely delighted with the built in wardrobe that Mark designed, constructed and installed into a large bedroom alcove. He was an absolute pleasure to do business with from first contact through to finished product. All communication was quickly and comprehensively answered. The wardrobe is extremely well built, fits the space perfectly and looks amazing. Plus, the work was performed for a fixed price. I would strongly recommend using Mark for any carpentry work.

Mitch has done a brilliant job of fitting several internal oak doors for us, and a new external door. He is friendly, courteous, tidy and takes great care of our home while he’s working. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him.

Mitchell O'born Carpentry did a fantastic job. Fitting very heavy doors upto 50kg with precison lining up the new to old hinge cutouts. 11 doors fitted in total all matching designs but varying in size and weight. He was extremely helpful in the consultation phase and I found him to be very trustworthy, polite and very clean. I'd like to point out his level of craft is top "notch" highly recommended.

Mark came to refurb our staircase and has done an excellent job! Took care and tried to work us as we have toddler who naps. Explained the job as he went along and cleaned up along the way. I would highly recommend Mark!

Mark came and refurbished our banister. When he came to assess the job he discussed style and materials with us to ensure he knew what we envisaged for our home. We agreed a date for the work. He let us know traffic was making him a few minutes late arriving. He coped magnificently with the uneven wall and woodwork which the house builder had left us. The resulting job looks very good. He put down covers and cleaned up after working. We would definitely recommend Mark.

We highly recommend Mark Lloyd. His work is outstanding and precise. A true craftsman. Nothing too much trouble. Clean and tidy. We had new oak balustrades and newel posts. Also wood panelling as you can see in the photos.

Booked Mark to fit 4 internal doors after he did such a great job fitting a kitchen worktop for us. Mark arrived on the day agreed, on time. Measured the individual frames (all different sizes!), removed the old doors, cut the doors to size, fitted the door handles & added an additional hinge for each door. During his visit, Mark was friendly, professional & tidied up after he'd finished the job. He cut the old doors in half to make it easier for me to dispose of them. And he took away some wood that needed to be edged / bevelled as he didn't have the tools woth him and returned it a couple of days later which I will be making into a table. New doors look great (still need to be painted though) & fit perfectly. Another great job by Mark. Again, woud happily recommend Mark for your woodwork needs. Thanks Mark.

Elliot helped design and build a tiny house/cabin I now live in. Incredible professional and helpful from start to finish. Great at problem solving and has a wealth of knowledge. Would highly recommend! Thanks very much once again!

We employed Elliot to build some bespoke cupboards in the kitchen diner with a book case either side of the fire place and a wine rack built into the fireplace and nice detailed finish. We were delighted with the result The finish was excellent and well worth paying for nice materials and having a skilled person to transform them into something to be proud of. So much so that we had another cupboard built in the porch! We had Elliot come and fit 12 new oak veneered doors. The quality and the care that Elliot puts into his work is exceptional. He didn’t rush the job and he spent time ensuring that the fit and finish of the hinges and door hardware was spot on. Everyday when finished he left the work area clean and tidy and genuinely cared about the way in which he works. I would 100% recommend Elliot to anyone who would like carpentry work done in their house. A genuinely nice and well mannered guy who is always on time and goes the extra mile. We will be using Elliot again for some new projects that we have in mind.

Elliot was a fantastic choice for me. I requested for a bispoke product to be made. He made it exactly how I needed it and was very attentative and responsive, keeping me updated - even added extra touches that meant a lot to me! It all started with a room partition. Christian made the job evolve to what I wanted but could not explain!……and four jobs later he is still helping me make my house a home. So pleased to have found such a great craftsman who gets it just right. As if he was reading my mind. Nothing is too much of a problem as demonstrated by the front door/porch renovation. It looks fabulous! Just worried about giving him such a good review as I have so much work for him to complete so cannot share yet. It is a pleasure having him work on my house and he cleans up after himself….bonus!

Christian made us a beautiful handcrafted bespoke wall cabinet to house a collection of precious rocks and crystals. The craftsmanship and quality of finish is fantastic. He was very approachable and accommodating of all requests and worked very hard to make it to our precise requirements. I would certainly recommend him and use his services again.
