Excellent work from Simon to our 50 year old lacquered table top. It looks superb after his ministrations. He also made a new support for it, and his choice of Ash Burl wood was ideal. We are really very pleased.

I had an old, damaged drawer which I had lined with cardboard and wasn’t fit for purpose. Simon did the most sympathetic repair of this piece and has given it many more years of life. Thank you - no photos, sorry, the drawer is now packed with stuff and bearing up nicely. Highly recommend

I've used Richard at Newbury Carpentry's services for many years and for so many projects around my house, and previous houses that I can't even remember what they all were! Richard is always very professional, always arrives on time, his work is always of a very high standard and he is always very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. He's on speed dial whenever anything needs doing or repairing in my house. He's fitted wooden flooring through my house, hung and fitted many internal and external doors, fitted shelving, fitted cupboards and many more other jobs and I honestly can't recommend him highly enough!

Richard provided me with valuable advice. Following the installation of underfloor heating the plan was to reinstall the shortened old doors. Richard was able to dismantle and shorten new oak doors. The result is excellent and a big improvement. The refitting was very efficient and to a high standard. Highly recommended!
