Over the past few years we have renovated a large country house garden and John was instrumental in the initial development of the garden, both with landscaping and planting. We found it of huge advantage to have a gardener who was qualified in Horticulture, as John is. We found his knowledge and understanding to be of tremendous benefit in helping us achieve the outstanding garden we now have which has recently been accepted to open under the National Garden Scheme.

John has performed amazingly well in the garden. I had no interest in doing it myself, but since John has turned it over and given it a new spark of life, I can't get enough! Thank you for such an expert approach and professional knowledge! Will get you back for more!

John was certainly the most professional landscape gardener we have ever used. He was thoughtful, consistent and listened to the customer - a very rare trait today. John occasionally was assisted by his team members although that was rare as he really participated 100% in our new garden which was a very difficult project being on a 1:20 slope. Not only did John lay our artificial grass to perfection with a brick edging, but also did the same for the front garden. Every day John left the site clean and tidy and always kept us informed of progress which depended, some days, on torrential rain which often didn't stop him planting trees! I can now add that his after sales response, for a couple of really minor items, was immediate. I can highly recommend JRG Landscapes for any residential household that wants a total refit or an upgrade to their garden.

Excellent service. John is so professional and good to his word. Our conifer trees needed a good cut back and prune. He was very considerate of our neighbours in keeping everything within our boundaries. A very hard worker, clean and tidy and have no doubts in recommending him to others. Will certainly use him again.

John has done a great job on our driveway and parking area, all the old gravel was scraped away right down to the sub-surface and the waste was regularly and efficiently cleared off-site. After base consolidation, the whole area was covered with a good layer of new gravel with minimal disruption to our access and I am very pleased with the results. With his helpful, professional approach and attention to the job details, I have no hesitation in recommending JRG Landscapes' services.

John was exceptionally professional and helped me totally revamp my back garden using a lot of what was already there. He has great attention to detail and kept me updated throughout. Five stars for Peter and his team at Jessett’s Gardening! The team have worked for us for the last couple of years and have done a fantastic job with our family members overgrown mature garden who was sadly too unwell to do it themselves. Peter and his team work quickly and tidily at a good price for the excellent standard of work carried out. They've always been flexible and book the work in as soon as they can, very friendly with great communication. Would highly recommend and I would definitely use them for my own garden in the future!

Pete did really fantastic work in our garden, laying down quality turf over tonnes of loam to ensure longevity in the lawn. He was flexible, working a Sunday to ensure our driveway was clear of the loam when heavy rain interrupted play on the planned Saturday. He conducted his work with the utmost integrity and professionalism and was responsive whenever we had questions. We now have a beautiful rear garden that we’re looking forward to having barbecues in, and guests over to enjoy it with. Jessett‘s Gardening was a breath of fresh air when other local so called professionals failed to follow through with promised visits to quote. Cannot recommend Peter and Hamish highly enough. What a team. Peter came to the house reviewing the sorry state of my inherited long neglected front garden and gave a very reasonable quote, then Hamish came for the day and worked a miracle. He repositioned flower beds, sieved soil, levelled the lawn and pruned shrubs. It's now ready for me to go to the garden centre and buy plants which is what I like to do most. We started working with Garden Thyme in October, with the focus just on our Football Pitch that the club use. The Centre only had coverage for the pitch to be marked & cut once a month. We had so many issues with it not allowing us to play football so we got in touch with Garden Thyme to help. They came in to do a review, instantly we found out the pitch was too small. with 95 x 85 instead of the FA requirements of 100 x 85, alongside that the pitch wasn't even straight! They were able to fix that, using Blue lines & the Robot to give us a perfect size pitch & even but our club Logo in the ground! Then the main focus was why the pitch was so bobbly, the team found out the pitch wasn't rolled, so Garden Thyme brought their Quad Mower to roll, cut & brush the pitch all at once, whilst also cutting into the soil allowing it to breath once rolled. The game after you could see the huge difference & the team all said it made a huge difference. We highly recommend them to any football club!

Simon and Ian have helped us paint lines on local Newbury pitches for 11-a-side football games and their service is always exemplary. They’ve saved our bacon at short notice more than once and are always professional, friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

I found Ian on a shared instagram post from the Reading Sunday league and enquired if he was willing to quote for the marking out of our 11 5aside tournament pitches . So easy to deal with and so professional from start to finish to the point we have booked them back for 2025 ! . Very cost efficient I cannot recommend them highly enough thank you it was a pleasure to deal with you and so much less stress than marking them out ourselves and a far superior appearance ! Adam Vetere did an amazing job when designing my 100 sqm roof terrace. He was professional, courteous and efficient throughout the process, and his design exceeded my expectations in every respect. The greatest hurdle to overcome with designing a roof terrace is to work within considerable weight limitations and yet to still come up with a pleasing result and make it all look effortless. Adam achieved all that and I could not be more happy with the results. Working with Adam on this project was a pleasure. He was always available and helpful on the phone or by email when I had a query … not a ‘given’ these days. I can highly recommend Adam. If I could give him 10 stars, I happily would.

From the outset, working with Adam has been an absolute pleasure. He listened to my ramblings, asked me insightful questions and managed to capture every nuance of those conversations. Despite only increasing the useable area of the garden by a relatively small amount (with a stunning cantilevered deck over a steep slope in the garden), Adam’s clever design means our garden feels very much larger than it did. We have areas for the children to play and three separate seating areas, all tied together by a beautiful planting scheme. We want to be outside all the time! We are so impressed with the way the design maximises the special and unusual setting of our garden in the surrounding landscape. The garden is full of bees and butterflies all day, so we really feel that the project has had a positive impact on the environment around us, too. Adam’s support during the whole design and build process was exemplary. He clearly has strong links in the industry - the contractor he recommended to complete the project was excellent, and Adam was on hand whenever we or the build team needed design or planting guidance. Aaron has done a range of garden landscaping for us over the past twelve month since we moved to Cheriton. This has included extensive ground works and building of large raised beds, shuttering to level our garden, building a large pergola, fencing and double width gate construction, custom made side gate to fit a tricky space, creation of garden beds from an original turfed area and the removal of a large dying silver birch tree. He is always exceptionally responsive, delivers a high quality finish and works with us to understand what we want whilst offering professional advice (which always turns out to be good advice!) We always go back to Aaron for all our garden landscaping work and highly recommend.

Aaron has been giving us invaluable help over the last three years and has always been , efficient, knowledgable with a wide range of skills, equipment and capabilities.
