Despite being a keen gardener all my life, I simply couldn't work out how to create the spaces we wanted in our new 100ft south London garden. We hoped to create a feeling of living in the country, in London; with outdoor eating areas, kitchen garden, greenhouse, sheds and log store. We wanted the sound of gentle running water and a garden teeming with wildlife. Annabel was the one garden designer we saw that we felt really understood our vision, without risking losing the ethos of the garden. She kept the key components and she brought in some new instant impact. She sourced the highest quality products and plants, provided the highest quality landscapers and lighting experts. Her attention to detail and vision is extraordinary. At night you are transported into a magical world with the specialised lighting. Our friends always say they feel like they are in the country when we eat out under our old stone (newly built) gazebo during the day and they feel like they are abroad at night as the garden lights up at dusk highlighting the trees and multi-stemmed shrubs. For us, we are just so grateful that Annabel was the one we picked. She exceeded our expectations by a mile and we will be eternally grateful. We get to enjoy it night and day, throughout the year. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Annabel on the transformation of our garden and we are delighted with the outcome. Her knowledge of plants, excellent taste and passion for her work have been invaluable. After showing Annabel a few photos of the type of ‘look’ we wanted to create, she came up with a design and planting plan, then sourced the most gorgeous plants, mature trees, climbers, pots and garden furniture. Anthony and the team did a great job replacing our huge, trip hazard, drain filled, tired old patio with crumbling retaining wall. Now we have an awesome new patio at a great price.

Simon took time to listen to what I wanted done in my garden. His quote gave a clear and itemized breakdown of the costs. Access was difficult, and the team was careful to protect our property. There was no collateral damage in spite of some large equipment being brought onto site. They did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. A very stress free project!

Simon and Mike have transformed our weed ridden old paving stone patio into a stunning bright new patio area. The old walls were removed and three skip loads of soil removed to lower the area. New brick walls and steps were built and a soak away with Aco drainage installed. Previously there had been a pooling of water after heavy rain. Our idea for a rear paved and planted terrace, as well as a comprehensive view of the remaining corner and front garden, were brought to life by Corrine, who also provided complete drawings electronically and in the form of a lovely book to preserve for the future. Shane from Stag Garden Services took on the task of removing huge overgrown brambles that had made their way from next door all over my elderly mum's garden. He bravely got rid of the original fruit bush next door and cleared all the brambles out of mum's garden. He was friendly, hardworking and tidied up carefully. Highly recommended.
