I don't have much of a garden so booked the bulb planting workshop whereby we would prepare a pot with bulbs in layers to enjoy the following spring. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Faith at My Country Garden - we received a warm welcome and a really interesting and clear presentation before getting to work, with everything we needed already laid out. The end result was gorgeous - many weeks of ever-changing shapes and colour, made all the more gratifying knowing I'd planted it up myself. Faith not only knows her stuff but is a charming and well organised workshop host.

Shout-out to Faith for designing planting plans for three of our borders and doing the actual planting too. Our sorry looking bare borders had been a source of stress for us for way too long as they needed doing but I just didn’t feel confident with what plants to choose and how to best fill them. Faith did a brill job with the design, ordering the plants, improving the soil and planting hundreds(?) of beautiful plants into the borders with her lovely team. For us, the planting itself would have taken weeks probably, Faith and the team did it very efficiently in two days. We are so relieved it’s now done – well worth the money spent! – and happy with how they look now. And they are only getting better as the plants establish over winter and start growing and blooming next spring and summer. Can’t wait to see that! Thank you Faith!

Steve visited us last week and did a really good job at tidying everything up after the winter, everything looks lovely and neat now, I would highly recommend Steve, very professional and hard working, excellent!

Brilliant service. Asked for a once over winter tidy up of our garden. He was very quick to respond to my initial enquiry message. Within a few days he popped round to look at the garden, chat about what he could offer and gave pricing as well. Steve was very professional and went above and beyond of what I was expecting. My garden looks absolutely beautiful. I had my patio and fences done with beautiful block paving which makes my garden look so big and lovely even fencing! Good attention to detail with only perfect being the acceptable outcome for them. The hedges have been trimmed so beautifully and lawn was also cut. Really impressed and recommend!

I had them round to landscape my small garden, remove all the old grass and replace with stones. They did an amazing job and even after work was done and payment made they come back to fix a few slabs on my path which did not set due to the bad weather, no questions asked. Whis was done 2 days after I reported the issue. Can't recommed them enough what a lovely family run company.

I am absolutely delighted with my patio and gazebo. Verdant landscapes did an absolutely brilliant job in designing and creating a proper patio area to replace the narrow strip of developer slabs I had running along the back of my house. As a result my garden is so much more enjoyable and usable. I really liked the collaborative approach too, coming up with ideas collectively as the work progressed.

Tom and the team did a fantastic job of our driveway, patio and steps to our garden over the summer. Despite set backs with the weather, extreme heat and torrential rain, they completed the job to a really high standard and in good time. Recently had a landscaping project carried out by Tom and his team who did an excellent job over the course of 8 days. Changes made along the way were accommodated without fuss and some suggestions made by them, which made perfect sense, accepted. Tom was easy to deal with, professional in his approach and did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it. Would happily use again and a strong recommendation.

Jamie and the two Sam's provided an outstanding service replacing our driveway and repaving the front of the house. Great attention to detail, no corners cut and a top quality result. Highly recommended!

Jamie was really clear in how he would go about what we needed and then Sam and Sam came to fit a drainage channel along our front door, and a channel under our paving to take the water away. They did a first rate job in only a few hours.

Jamie and his team did an absolutely fantastic job cutting back and shaping a very large and wide hedge, made up of loads of different plants and trees. See before and after photos. They were very hard working and tidy, managing to do the whole job off ladders. Price was also very reasonable. I was extremely impressed and will definitely use them again.

Jamie came round to assess the work i needed to be done for my mum. He supplied a quote and a couple of weeks later he and another came to do the work. Not living near mum i need to be able to trust tradesmen i employ to do work for mum and the great thing about Family Tree Landscaping all the work is kept within house; Jamie came to assess and also to do the work. This is not always the case with other companies i have used. I would certainly use them again; they are local, respectful and professional. I recommend them.

Had patio cleaned, extended and repointed properly to match original. One side of garden dug out and replaced with pebble border for pots. Much easier now for me to keep tidy. Large Pittisporum tree that was looking rather untidy was trimmed and reshaped. Very pleased with all the work carried out, big thanks to Francis, Reilly, Robin and Kelly, who were punctual, extremely tidy and worked very hard to make the garden and patio look so much better. Kelly has been looking after my garden for about a year and does an excellent job! We recently had a patio area and a Gazebo fitted by Francis and the team and they have transformed a disused area of our garden into a haven. We had the work done over 5 days and Francis, Robin, Riley and Kelly worked really hard each and every day to create a beautiful, useable space. They left the garden tidy everyday and disposed of all the waste. They also built a log storage area for the fire pit, which wasn't part of the original plan, but Francis said he had the materials to build one for us. That was a really nice touch and it looks fantastic. It goes without saying that Luna (Kelly and Francis' beautiful Spaniel) is my favourite worker 😉 Luna always brightens up our day! Review of Beyond the Borders Garden Design, Alton, Hampshire. Excellent design work at a fair price. Aylwin is very approachable and knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping. Our brief had several constraints including an old concrete rainwater collection system, various different levels, and plants to conserve . Aylwin took on board our requirements and produced a design using clay pavers which managed to draw everything together and complement the garden and house.

Aylwin created a beautiful, dreamy cottage garden for us and we can’t thank him enough - it’s like a scaled-up version of a Chelsea Garden Show display. We’re so proud of it and everyone loves it. His knowledge of design (and plants, colour, and what plants would thrive) and what suits and looks high-end is outstanding. Without wishing to sound transactional it’s made such a difference to our house value too. He took everything we asked for on-board and worked with us on details when we wanted it. He also did necessary communication/ diplomacy with our neighbours! Aylwin is total design star and we’re so grateful to him for working for us.

Aylwin was very helpful in providing a consultancy service to help us re-design a small part of our garden. His creative perspective was invaluable. He very quickly understood our requirements and came up with a concept plan promptly. I would highly recommend Alwin, whether for small consultancy projects or larger garden designs. I couldn't be happier with the wonderful design and finished garden which completely met the brief and exceeded my expectations. Aylwin was meticulous in preparing the garden and making sure that what i wanted was possible, not an easy task given the rotten ground my original garden presented him with.
