Well it’s been nearly a year since Pete and Andy and the team took on my loft conversion. I can say that their professionalism, skill and just hard work finished my project on time to the day !!! They are a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend them to anyone who was looking to have work done at their home. If I need anything else doing at my property I know who I will be calling. Andy and Pete, with Nick and Graham, carried out our loft conversion this year and we are so happy with their work. What we liked best was their time-keeping (they ran exactly to schedule) and costing (they ran exactly to quote, except for some extras that we requested). As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.

Updating my review following a second job completed by Pete and Andy - excellent job again, and can thoroughly recommend - the work that they do is of the highest quality, but they are also very good post-completion at coming back for any snagging - have always felt everything is well communicated and have stuck to quoted prices. No hesitation in recommending and would certainly use them again.

A few friends of ours recommended Bassett Carpentry for our kitchen extension. We couldn’t be happier with the work and would recommend them to anyone else. Our extension was not straight forward but Andy & Pete were so easy to deal with. They were honest and upfront with costs, and kept to the agreed price plans. Their team who completed the electrics and plumbing were also superb. We were very nervous as this was our first project, but Bassett Carpentry exceeded all expectations and did the perfect job. They also installed the kitchen itself, which we love. We are very grateful and actually missed having them around once the extension was complete! Thank you so much.

I had an old, damaged drawer which I had lined with cardboard and wasn’t fit for purpose. Simon did the most sympathetic repair of this piece and has given it many more years of life. Thank you - no photos, sorry, the drawer is now packed with stuff and bearing up nicely. Highly recommend

Excellent work from Simon to our 50 year old lacquered table top. It looks superb after his ministrations. He also made a new support for it, and his choice of Ash Burl wood was ideal. We are really very pleased.

Daniel hand built a large pergola for us. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. Daniel came out to view the area and designed the pergola that we wanted. Quoted for the works and sent us through detailed drawings to confirm what we wanted. He arrived on time worked methodically, keeping us informed at every stage. He worked in a very tidy manner, cleaning up as he went along and at the end of each day. Daniel has carried out work for us in the past, installing several internal doors. I would highly recommend Daniel for any interior or external workings.

Excellent craftsmanship! Dan at Wills & Co exceeded our expectations in designing our bespoke living room shaker style alcove cabinets and floating shelving tailored to our requirements. Dan was able to firstly lay the new golden smoked oak wood flooring finished with beading running along the skirting boards which compliments our new column radiator & newly fitted plantation shutters. We wouldn't hesitate to use Will's & Co again again and we've already booked future work for our hallway to match. The quality of work carried out here speaks volumes added by all the complements we've had from guests visiting recently. 10/10

Really pleased with the work done and I booked it via Facebook messenger. Popped out to do the quote for a replacement door. Arranged a date a promptly turned up on the door to supply a fit. Did a really good job and supplied a much higher quality unit to the one that was replaced.

I love our new staircase. Sam has been very professional and flexible throughout the whole process. We’ve asked a different type of staircase and balustrade, so we were a bit worried about the end result. We just love it and we can totally recommend Sam for his quality skills , well done!

Sam fitted out a large workshop unit for me with wall panels, and he built a new office with stud walls, windows and a new door. His work is excellent and he obviously enjoys detailed carpentry and joinery. Sam is very skilled and knows how to best approach a job to get it done right and within budget. Sam was on time every day and was always prepared with the right materials and tools for the job. He is a quick worker and always willing to provide guidance and advice. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a skilled carpenter / joiner.

Sam did a great job installing fitted floating shelves in alcoves as well as a mantel piece. He was flexible on timings and was happy to discuss what we wanted until we were happy. Only a 4 because of a miscommunication which meant the shelves ended up in a slightly different place to expected and the finish/varnish needed neatening after he'd finished. The actual woodwork was brilliant, and the whole project was a good price.

We had wanted our rather dull staircase, bannisters and under stairs cupboard changed for years, but we'd always been put off by the high prices of the 'stair renovations specialists'. I found details of SJT Carpentry and Joinery on-line and I was very impressed by their feedback and photos. Got a quote and some ideas from Sam and was pleasantly surprised by both the price and his suggestions. Now having had the work done I am really pleased with the end result, wish we'd found Sam earlier. Sam arrived on time, kept me informed of what was happening and made very sensible suggestions. Really impressed with his workmanship. Hope to use him again on another project in the near future.

Dealing with Timber Technology was a great experience from start to finish. Efficient process from site visit to quote to booking (even just before Christmas).
