Having started AJC Carpentry over 20 years ago we are very proud to continue to supply the best quality carpenters to the new build housing industry. Working with most major house builders we can offer long term work on price work bases throughout the South East of England, we are always on the lookout for top class carpenters and supervisors.

AJC Came to the rescue of Hartley Wintney Scouts after a break in at the Scout hut damaged the front doors beyond repair. They came out the same day to assess the damage then very generously came back and fitted us a new set of fire doors. There service is excellent and the standard of work top notch.

Although we didn't go ahead with A-Spec for our side-return extension, we were very impressed with Jonathan and how we approached quoting out the build. He was responsive and detailed, so would have no hesitations getting him to quote out future projects.

Richard and his team were great when we called them up to repair some rotting timbers on our 400yr old cottage! They took everything on their stride and kept us informed every step. They were clean and tidy, and completed the job on time and budget. Richard also returned at short notice a few weeks later when we found another very rotten timber. All work was carried out to an exceptional standard and blends in with the original wall perfectly. Highly recommended, and worth waiting for.

They blitzed our various jobs over four days and that included building and installing bespoke under stair storage cupboards/shelves/hangers. Really good experience. It was great to find a well established company that was not only prepared to take on a small bespoke job, but did quality work and was also reasonably priced. They treated us, and the job, with respect and professionalism. The job itself was building a bespoke hallway cupboard which they did really nicely. It looks great and fits perfectly in the space.

Tom and his guys were superb for us. Great communication and always on top of things. Real professionals but also very personable. We are so pleased with everything Tom has done in our home. Tom has now led the refurbishment of our kitchen, diner, hallway, utility, downstairs shower room, main bedroom, en-suite and family bathroom. We would highly recommend Tom and his team who did an amazing job on our kitchen project, which included ripping out our old kitchen, laying new flooring through the whole of the downstairs and converting the cupboard under the stairs into a dog house. Tom remained true to his quote and was very reliable and trustworthy. He kept us updated regularly and realistically worked with us on our vision. We have future projects and Tom will be our first port of call.

If I were to describe Tom’s approach to my home renovations I would describe him as inclusive, having great communication skills, proactive, (particularly important when as is often the case, a couple of unpredicted issues arose), approachable & open to discussing options when needed & incredibly professional. The standard of work was high & the finish is faultless. My kitchen was not entirely standard off the shelf construction, but was finished beautifully. I would have no hesitation asking Tom to carry out work on my home in the future or recommending him to others. It can be a daunting prospect embarking on a build but I was confident with the choice I made & had no misgivings at any stage. Tom is a gem!!

We found Stephen's details through local websites. He initially constructed a new set of bannisters & fitted wardrobes for us, which was done very professionally, and with great precision & care. We were very impressed with his work. Therefore, we subsequently asked him to Project Manage disposing of our old kitchen, then getting a new one fitted. He organised all of the peripheral resources required in addition to the main tasks that he carried out. The end product is brilliant, and all aspects of the kitchen units & electrical items were fitted perfectly, and the difference is incredible. All in all, I'd recommend Stephen for all of these types of work. He's also very diligent, calm & collected, had a great attention to detail, a friendly & helpful person, and will do extra work if he thinks it's needed. Added to this, we found his costs to be pretty reasonable too, which is an added extra! John Evans.

Steve did a brilliant job creating and fitting bespoke cabinets and floating shelves for our new house. His work is of a very high standard and he helped guide us through each of the decisions we had to make regarding the design. We will certainly be enlisting Steve’s help again in the future.

Steve recently made a bespoke trophy cabinet. It needed to be a very unusual shape. Not a problem for Steve who made it beautifully as I knew he would! Thank you for yet more outstanding craftsmanship.
