Alex fitted a new lock to my door. He also cut and fitted smoke safety strips and a new letterbox. I booked this with Nigel. They both turned up and were polite and punctual. The work was carried out to a high standard in about 90 minutes. I found it difficult to find someone willing to do these tasks but Nigel and Alex were willing to. I strongly recommend them

Jake and the team bought my vision for my media wall to life and I love it. Totally transformed my lounge. Jake spent time with me going through design thoughts from my Pinterest ideas. He then thoroughly measured the space and discussed options. Very quick turn around on the design and together we made a few tweaks until we landed on what was possible. Jake then worked with the fireplace suppliers TJ Cole’s and my electrician PJ electrics to plan with us all the best way to build and implement everything. The quality and finish of their joinery and products is amazing. Throughout the week it took to implement they were a pleasure to have around and left everything spotless between days. I would highly recommend them and when I decide on my next room conversion Jake and the team will be at the top of list to call.

Jake and his team built us a beautiful media unit with incredible attention to detail. They weren’t happy until everything was perfect! The finish is very high quality and we’re really happy. Would 100% recommend cutting edge.

Jake and his team have built two beautiful sets of shelves for us, one for the kitchen and one for a sitting room. The work was carefully planned and meticulously carried out on time. There was no problem with a couple of last minute additions that suggested themselves once the shelves were installed. We’re really pleased with the work. The team were pleasant, considerate and carefully cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommended.

Ordered some shelf brackets from Jake, and couldn’t be happier with the service. He made them incredibly quickly without compromising on quality. The brackets themselves are excellent—well-made and sturdy. Jake communicated well throughout the process and made everything easy from start to finish. The experience from start to finish has been fantastic! I was given a really reasonable quote, and though additional costs were added (due to extra work which needed to be carried out) these were also really reasonably priced and I was kept well informed about it before the work was carried out. I'd also discovered what can only be described as a nightmare of hidden pipework under the old larder (before work was due to be carried out), and though my own worries about this caused delays with the work starting, Lewis was really supportive in addressing this and was really quick to respond to all of my concerns. Garath fitted my new cabinets, moved my extractor fan/boxing, replaced my windowsill and also worked on a few extra areas in the kitchen and I'm honestly impressed with how good it all looks! All his work has been topnotch and throughout the process he was always polite and took the trouble to answer any questions I had. Work was also finished really quickly which was a bonus! My thanks to you both - can't recommend highly enough!

I have been using Lewis and the Team for some time now, the quality of workmanship is excellent, Lewis consistently goes out of his way to make sure we are looked after and Gareth and Craig are great guys, I would highly recommend.

Lewis advised and replaced the bannisters on our stairs. He did a great job and was polite and courteous. I will be using his services again…. And I did, this time to replace all our internal doors with oak ones. Craig and Garath did an amazing job; they were really friendly and polite and left no mess.

Gareth who works for Lewis is fantastic and the workmanship in fitting our kitchen has been incredible. There has been a lot of pride taken in making everything top Notch. Si has been the best with helping me plan and build my Gazebo with beautiful oak. Very reasonable and professional in his craft.

Simon built us some understairs storage and a faux chimney breast. Simon easily turned our ideas in reality and did a fantastic job - we couldn't be happier with the end result! He was punctual and professional throughout the build, always asked our input on items and advised us where we needed it. I couldn't recommend more!

Recommendation given for Josh to hang some internal doors following a bad experience with a previous company. I was nervous but I needn’t have been. Josh and his colleague arrived promptly and were very friendly. Very professional and tidy. Very good price quoted. Booked Mark to fit 4 internal doors after he did such a great job fitting a kitchen worktop for us. Mark arrived on the day agreed, on time. Measured the individual frames (all different sizes!), removed the old doors, cut the doors to size, fitted the door handles & added an additional hinge for each door. During his visit, Mark was friendly, professional & tidied up after he'd finished the job. He cut the old doors in half to make it easier for me to dispose of them. And he took away some wood that needed to be edged / bevelled as he didn't have the tools woth him and returned it a couple of days later which I will be making into a table. New doors look great (still need to be painted though) & fit perfectly. Another great job by Mark. Again, woud happily recommend Mark for your woodwork needs. Thanks Mark.

Mark came to refurb our staircase and has done an excellent job! Took care and tried to work us as we have toddler who naps. Explained the job as he went along and cleaned up along the way. I would highly recommend Mark!

Mark came and refurbished our banister. When he came to assess the job he discussed style and materials with us to ensure he knew what we envisaged for our home. We agreed a date for the work. He let us know traffic was making him a few minutes late arriving. He coped magnificently with the uneven wall and woodwork which the house builder had left us. The resulting job looks very good. He put down covers and cleaned up after working. We would definitely recommend Mark.

We highly recommend Mark Lloyd. His work is outstanding and precise. A true craftsman. Nothing too much trouble. Clean and tidy. We had new oak balustrades and newel posts. Also wood panelling as you can see in the photos.

I used Mansur Carpentry recently for some build in wardrobes and his work amazing. He was keeping me updated everyday on the progress and his quality of work perfect. Definitely will be using him again soon for other jobs around the house.

Came across Mansur Carpentry by chance via the Next Door app and so glad that we did. Ferdi and Sevda visited to quote for picture rail / wall paneling installation in the living room design & installation of utility room storage. Our list then grew to plywood installation in living room and hallway floors, leveling hallway floor, boxing in pipes, installation of herringbone LVT flooring, adjusting room doors and kitchen cabinets. Ferdi provided an exact list of materials and designed the utility room based on IKEA cabinetry. The end results exceeded our expectations, Ferdi is a true Craftsmen. Communication was excellent, tidiness wonderful and honesty to match. Ferdi also very kindly helped us with some other jobs like installing door hooks and hanging a very large painting (twice 🙂). Cannot recommend enough!!!!

Ferdi built us an amazing cupboard to store our coats, shoes, hats and scarves. He planned and designed it on site and we are thrilled with the result. He was very neat and we were impressed with the quality of his work. We painted the cupboard ourselves but forgot to take ‘before’ photos. The cupboard was built using MDF.

Mansur Carpentry supplied and installed a new stair rail. The work was of the highest quality and I am totally delighted with the result. Ferdi is a master craftsman and was most helpful in making sure the design met our needs. It was a pleasure to have him working in our house. I would not hesitate to recommend Mansur Carpentry.
