Andy and Pete, with Nick and Graham, carried out our loft conversion this year and we are so happy with their work. What we liked best was their time-keeping (they ran exactly to schedule) and costing (they ran exactly to quote, except for some extras that we requested). As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.

Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! For your interest I attach before, during and after photos of their work here in Chandler's Ford We would not hesitate to recommend them.

I have used Alan many times now for carpentry jobs around the house and garden including design and build of an external bike shelter. Very pleased with his work. He is reliable and tidy.

So pleased I made a call to ‘Little Island carpentry’ last year. I hadn’t even looked at the website but I liked the company name….good enough reason! We soon found out that Ross is extremely personable and his work is immaculate. He takes such pride in doing things well and our hall cupboard looked really smart & tidy after he had installed shelving and built housing around the electric meter & fuse box. Recently he went above and beyond when asked to install new kitchen cupboard doors for us….We thought the carcasses would be ok as the apartment is fairly new. However it turned out they were all out of alignment due to initial poor installation. Many others may have covered this up…but not Ross…thankfully! He set to making everything right before fixing the new doors and now we have a brand new kitchen - it’s perfect in every way. Ross never complains and always looks for solutions. His knowledge and commitment to his work is outstanding He is also a genuinely nice person and I cannot recommend him highly enough - you won’t be disappointed.

I was looking to book a benchmarking experience to do with my siblings and dad for his 70th. I couldn’t find anyone who offered this but after messaging a lot of paces, Ross was the only one who replied saying he would be very happy to help do this for us. Ross was incredibly helpful in organising this experience from the designs to the selection of wood and being so accommodating to the dates that worked for us. We did it over a weekend under his fantastic supervision and help who had everything planned out for us! I couldn’t recommend this any more. A brilliant experience, incredibly fun and came out of it with a beautiful bench.

Ross and Jack built our home ground floor timber frame extension measuring 10m x 8m. They were excellent from start to finish, communication and advice were given throughout and they are returning in October to fit the kitchen. We would recommend them without any reservation.

Tim built us this amazing shed extension onto our existing summer house. The picture doesn't do it justice but it's basically bomb proof! He opened up the summer house so we can use the additional space for shed stuff, and put up a new internal insulated wall. His craftsmanship is top notch and he worked very hard. Thanks Tim!

Timber Tim recently provided his one of a kind service with creating the decked veranda that we were in big need of, following build works to our home. He made the entire experience from start to finish exceed all of our expectations. Tim as a person is a rare find in the world we live in, and his workmanship is second to none, alongside his understanding of our situation and set up was extraordinarily kind and accommodating. We are beyond happy with what Tim has created and recommend him very, very highly with any timber needs, requirements and potential designs. We cannot thank you enough!

I once walked past Tim’s business and he was making a lovely tree house for some lucky children. My son was needing a cabin bed to make the most of the space he has in his room and whilst I found a few around they were either too tall, too long or too flimsy. I approached Tim and showed him the design I was after but with some tweaks. He arranged a time to come round and measure up, making sure it’d fit and importantly fit up the stairs. We discussed materials and finish, as well as the nice touch of a small shelf for a nightlight, book and water bottle. Tim took the time to go over everything as well as suggesting varnishes etc. When it was ready Tim popped by and assembled it in the morning before my son got home that evening. It’s meant my son can now have his computer in his room for homework and gaming as well as the Xbox. There’s some nice shelves where he can put his books, Warhammer models and various bits and bobs. His desk chair can fit underneath, though he mainly uses his beanbag. You just can’t get that from a shop made cabin bed with the ceiling height he’s got. There’s some cable tidying to do! You can tell Tim loves what he does and takes immense pride in his work. I’m quite envious of him for that. When my son came home he was surprised by it and called me the best dad in the world. So thank you Tim!

We’re so delighted with the bed Tim built for Sophie, it is exactly what we wanted. It’s beautifully designed and constructed. Tim is so efficient, skilful and tidy and clearly takes pride in his work. The price was really reasonable and Tim was very happy to listen to our ideas and adapt things accordingly. We used Wilosns Carpernty for both of our shop refurbishments. They had many hurdles to overcome and ticky things to fit but nothing seemed to much trouble and the finshed job looks amazing! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Jonny. His work is brilliant, he is reasonably priced, punctual and polite. He recently built a cabinet and shelves for me from scratch and the results are fantastic. We spoke briefly about what I wanted to achieve, and he immediately came up with recommended solutions and then smashed through the work. Anytime I need carpentry services in future, I will 100% be phoning Jonny, which is probably the best thing I can say!

Jonny fitted nine doors at my house last year. Firstly he is a really nice guy, secondly he is a good carpenter, and lastly nothing is too much trouble. For example I wanted to instal the old doors at my daughters and Jonny took them all over there for me in his van. I was very satisfied with the workmanship, he has the right tools, knows how to use them, and the end result has lifted the whole house. He did most of the cutting outside to reduce the dust inside, but hey its wood working and it makes some sawdust. I thoroughly recommend Jonny, he has good attention to detail, cleans up after himself, will happily adjust anything once it’s fitted, and his prices are competitive.

We are very happy with Jonny's mastery in carpentry. He's helpful, punctual, tidy and very quick. We will be calling him for more projects shortly and I'd definitely recommend him for anyone in the area. He has also got a great personality, which is a big plus for any tradesperson!
