Just had 21 panels (split between east and west of my roof) and a large battery fitted by Russell and his team. The plan being to maximise the amount of solar I generate and combine this with a heat pump (being fitted soon by a separate national installer). I got quotes from a number of solar installers before opting for Starks electrical. Whilst their quote was competitive the thing which stood out most with this company was their knowledge and experience in fitting solar and I liked that they were a local company. I was able to make tweaks to my proposed system and get lots of free advice from Russell’s team so by the time the install went ahead I was really confident about my purchase. There was absolutely no ‘hard sell’ and I was given options for various systems at different price points which was great. The installation was very smooth. The team who did the install were great - worked really hard, were polite courteous and really nice guys who had years (decades!) of experience in solar installs. The system is now working great - even in October! I highly recommend this company.

Great service from Russell and his team. Everything was completed very neatly and within the timescale I was given. The electrician then came back separately to assist with my setting up the app so I can monitor as necessary. My electricity usage is now an average of 3p per day.

Great service! We had an emergency with the fuse box that we couldn’t work out how to fix. We called and they answered immediately. The gentleman talked us through the issue and we were able to resolve it. Would 100% recommend!

Solar panels and batteries.......... What a great company. From initial contact and planning, utterly professional. Ben quite obviously sought to provide what was required rather than pushing for a bigger order, rare these days! Cracked on with the work. Super fast, very tidy and very conscientious. Price wise BB Electrical supplied a bigger system then others for similar money. Without a doubt I would have no hesitation about recommending this company. Deal with them, you won't be disappointed.

Ben is a great electrician and fantastic business owner.. he quoted a price and installed a new hybrid solar system.. had it all up and running same day..I had issues with my app( my phone lol ) he didn't leave till i had all working.. Employed BB Electrical to carry out a scheduled Electrical Inspection Condition Report for our warehouse unit @ Bournemouth Steel. The inspection and all remedial works were completed in good time, they were tidy, courteous and did an excellent job. New 3 phase consumer unit installed with galvanised containment and re-wiring where necessary. Would definitely recommend

I'd have to spend quite some time on thinking how to fault this place. Stayed as a family of 4 and had a great time. Very well done (decorated and built) also lovely and clean. Bonus of seeing animals outside in the morning and goats having loads of fun in the field. Easy to find from directions given and easy to park plenty of space 👌 would definitely return.

Myself and my partner stayed here the night before and the night of our wedding, in one of their larger rooms which had a very comfy bed, huge bath and fantastic shower. The breakfast was really tasty, only downside is that it is only served 8-9am so we missed out on our second morning due to getting up too late! The farmhouse and grounds are very beautiful and the room itself was pleasantly decorated with tea and coffee, and fresh milk left for us each morning. I loved soaking in the huge bath tub (large enough for 2), I only wish we didn't have to leave so soon as I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I would like!

A lovely clean and well set out cottage. Lots of space, quiet and peaceful setting. Lovely welcome basket filled with goodies was a very nice touch and the hot tub was such a luxurious touch. Just the thing after a nice day exploring the surrounding area

Initially, we went to MD Johnson to install a cold-water pump in our new home. Barry came around and did a great job with the pump installation; professional, courteous and efficient. After that good experience, I then used MD Johnson Electrical for a couple of EICRs on some rental properties. They did a great job of the EICRs and the remedial works that followed. My tenants told me that the MD Johnson team were prompt, professional, tidy and courteous. They even popped back to one of the properties to check on a query I had, with no extra charge. More recently, they solved a troublesome lighting problem with my kitchen. Marc researched the best options, proposed solutions and then went ahead with a seamless install. Now we have amazing lighting in our kitchen to the extent that every time we switch the lights on, it brings a smile to my face! I would wholeheartedly recommend Marc, Barry and the MD Johnson Electrical team to friends, family and colleagues.

Scott Thomas attended our property. We had not been advised that he was coming. He was extremely patient and polite while we made some checks. Excellent service from start to finish. New consumer unit - latest spec, fitted alongside fitting Solar batteries, inverters and other paraphernalia and wiring in the Solar Panels. Very polite workforce, knowledgeable and efficient. Cleaned up after themselves including removal of all packaging and old equipment. The team consisted of Marc (boss man) Adam and Scott. Each had their own jobs to do and worked well together. All three were happy to answer questions and provided advice and guidance.

We commissioned Charlton to come and wire in our new summerhouse. From start to finish where Paul came and surveyed the work to when Chris came out and conducted the job "in what I would say were very hot conditions" the whole process was effortless and a joy to have them do the work. I contacted Green Light for a quote for Solar PV Panel installation at the end of March 2023, getting their name from the MCS website and being local to the area. Nick contacted me by phone for an initial phone chat and very quickly produced an initial draft proposal. We arranged a visit to our house to discuss it further and firm up proposals. Nick was punctual and very informative and very keen on Solar. All our questions were answered, he did a thorough site survey and I said we were getting other quotes, which he was supportive of. He then supplied a firm quote which included a consumer (fuse box) unit replacement at the same time. Whilst I was waiting for other quotes Nick was quick to answer any follow up questions we had. The quote from the company was competitive with others and at the beginning of April we accepted the quote and booked a date for installation in May. The deposit could be paid by bank transfer or credit card to give the extra protection under section 75. The Monday agreed on in May arrived and Arthur and colleague arrived to start work, scaffolding had been put up the week before. We discussed a change of location of the inverter and battery if possible and that was incorporated so both were fitted downstairs instead of in the loft. They both worked tirelessly throughout the week, arriving about 0800hrs and not leaving until 1630hrs and seemed to work through any tea and lunch breaks. The work was completed with little mess and what there was was all cleaned up by end of the day. We were expecting more visible wiring trunking, inside and outside but they managed to use the wall cavity to run the wiring from the panels to the consumer unit/inverter so the little visible trunking is all extremely neat and contained around the inverter and battery. The consumer unit change replaced 2 old fuse units and looks so much neater. Whilst the wiring was being changed Arthur wired in sockets so we weren't left totally without electric for the day it took for the unit to be replaced, a nice touch really. On Fri afternoon the work was completed, the Solar panels producing electricity, work area left clean and tidy. A minor issue with battery connectivity was soon resolved the next working day. All in all I would recommend Nick and his company for their obvious commitment to providing a quality service, who are professional, want to do a professional job, arrive on time and work extremely hard to complete a job on time and to a very high standard. A job well done that we are very satisfied with. Nick and his team are to be commended.

Green Light Electrical installations were very quick to come to our rescue when a couple of spotlights in our ensuite decided to "give up the ghost". We phoned in the morning and a lovely lad was with us by lunchtime, and job completed quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend them.

Downlight have rewired my house, fitted solar panels along with the inventor and batteries in addition to helping arrange and install an air source heat pump. Due to the the long running job and different elements involved i got to meet many different members of the team. I was really impressed with how professional the team were with all of the work they carried out to high standard and snag free. A big plus was the communication was clear and frequent meaning everything was carried out exactly as we requested. All the team we meet were really friendly and nothing was ever to much trouble meaning they were great to work with. I would highly recommend and i will use again in the future.
