I 10000% recommend this garage! I can’t thank them enough for helping me out today, on such short notice as well. I had an emergent problem with my car and turned up without an appointment. The person I spoke to was very professional and kind, he said he would get my car sorted as soon as possible for me, even though they were very busy already. They fixed my car within 2 hours, so they were very quick as well! I was so grateful that they could fix it and at such a fair price! Will definitely be going back in future

Had an issue with exhaust work at a different garage on a classic mini where the cat was sat too low, contacted these guys really helpful and knowledgeable and very open with costs, took the car in for the work everything resolved and sat back as it should probably higher now than it ever has been. Really pleased with the work done, very easy to talk to and friendly highly recommend

Alex is both knowledgeable and professional. He was able to diagnose the issue with the mechatronics unit on my DSG gearbox in my Golf Mk7, and presented me with several options with thorough explanations of all of them. He was also flexible in accomodating any options I presented. The work was done in a timely manner with honest and reliable advice from the team. Well worth the money.

Known of these awesome guys for years, Alex built an exhaust for my Impreza years ago which still looks and sounds as good as the day he built it. They still don't disappoint! He and Mark were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when I needed some more work done. Amazing communication. 10/10 would recommend them!

I have been using this garage for years and they are fantastic. They will not try to rip you off and know what they are doing. When a Nissan Garage said my catalytic converter had gone and would cost £3k to replace Clayton and his team managed to fix it at a fraction of the cost using tools and knowledge rather than discarding and slapping in a new one. Would highly recommend.

These guys are really good. Have been using them for years for my cars and large van. Not expensive and several times have not charged for investigation and advice. They are honest, experienced motor engineers who’ll not rip you off.

Had my engine oil filter change here yesterday. Very honest mechanic and get the work done for me within half an hour. Easy to deal with. Showed me what was wrong with the filter before the work was carried out. Will come back again for the future car service.

I have had both my A Class mercedes and Fiat Ducato van looked after by the team. They always do a great job, good value which is important and a place you can trust. Great service and very helpful.

Not easy to find a garage run by people with experience and integrity, these guys have both in bucket loads. Take a variety of cars to them, and they have always come up with a solution, taking time to explain what is wrong, and he course to get it fixed. Cat is an amazing front person for the company, goes over and above on service levels. Highly recommend them, I don't live anywhere near the garage but travel to go there, because unlike so many other rip off merchant garages, they do a great job.

From the start the communication with Cat has been outstanding. I really appreciate her breaking everything down and explaining the work that is needed on my car. I was super impressed to find my seats, floor and steering wheel with protective covering on whilst they examined my car, not something I have experienced with many garages before! Found blue Peter very helpful place take your car. Have 21 year old car. Always able get to get repaired. Tell wot wrong / wot needs to be done. Friendly staff. Lot of place 's turn order cars away in Basingstoke. If problem give blue Peter a call Elliott tittensor.

I just noticed that I had put one star on here as a review! Well I don't know how that got on there!!?they are 5 star all the way from pick up to drop off! Danny was very informative on the phone , running me through everything that he had done and inspected! And heads up with worn parts that are nearing a change,but didn't jump in and change them like most garages! Very honest and up front! I will be using them again,and recommend them to anyone who needs a good, thorough honest garage!

Both my dealings with The Overton Garage have resulted in them not working on my car. This is because on both occasions they saved me from unnecessary work and expense, most recently to enable me to get work done under warranty elsewhere that had initially been quoted as chargeable by a large dealership. I am so grateful for their time, their honesty and their advice. 100% trustworthy.

I was travelling from Suffolk to Cornwall in our VW Camper and developed a nasty blow on the exhaust on the journey. I contacted this garage at short notice and they dropped everything to help us out. The correct part wasn't available, but the exhaust was repaired to a good standard to ensure it was safe. A really interesting place to visit -. nice to see a garage with a genuine passion for cars. Highly recommended

After my daughter's car catastrophically broke down (not an exaggeration!), Overton Garage collected her car and prioritised it for repair (she is an NHS front line worker - her car is vital to visit her vulnerable service users). Danny and his team kept her informed at all times. And suggested some works that will ensure her 'old' car remains safe and reliable. Danny sourced a second hand part to keep the cost down. Wholeheartedly recommend.

This young lady by the name of Heather Jones has exceptional customer service. Me being a 1st time customer she treated me like i was one of her regular clients with such professionalism and such knowledge. Every company deserves a Heather Jones. UPDATE 21/12/2023 I telephoned and spoke to Tyrone who was really helpful and said he could help, which he fixed, before I made my two hour journey back home. Highly recommend going here, all the staff are friendly. UPDATE 24/05/23. My Father recommended this garage, so I booked my car in, which had a broken handbrake. From the outset the customer service was excellent. Heather on reception clearly loves her job, she is friendly, polite and professional, very pleasant to deal with and kept me updated. My car was fixed within two days. I am so relieved as I can now drive back to East Sussex and have no more worries about parking on a hill!
