Easily the best coffee in Newbury! My husband and I made it our new weekly tradition to have Milk and bean Fridays! We go every week and no coffee compares! Chris and Freya are always so welcoming and it’s like supporting friends! Dog friendly as well so what’s not to love! The pastries are also delicious!

Fantastic independent coffee shop in centre of Newbury. Great selection of cakes and the cappuccino was top notch. They even supply you with a glass of water with coffee as they do in Europe. The staff were kind and efficient & there was seating outside allowing you to watch the world go by.

Hands down the nicest place for coffee in Newbury. Cosy and super dog friendly - dog treats and blankets provided free of charge! I always recommend this as a good spot to dog owners. Coffee and pastries are delicious and the owners, Chris and Freya, are absolutely lovely. As previous reviews have stated, there isn’t a customer loo but I’ve never found this a problem given the coffee shop is conveniently situated in the town centre, with access to many loos. Always worth a visit, especially if you’ve got a puppy in tow!

Ordered a Flat white. It was small in volume but a really great cup of coffee. Service was quick and friendly. The place is tiny, A good attempt has been made to make the most of the space with a small shelf 'coffee bar' and also.e stools. The coffee machine is worth a mention. A beautiful, baby blue machine that makes you consider the possibility of installing one at home, but then work out that it would take up all your work space...

Lovely birthday visit to The Dew Pond. After a very warm welcome by owners Julie and Keith, we enjoyed drinks outside on the decking, overlooking the garden and surrounding greenery. As usual, also enjoyed some delicious cheese straws while perusing the menu. I went for the cheese soufflé, beef and a very refreshing espresso ice cream - perfect way to finish in the warm weather. Service from Marie and Emma was a particular highlight - considerate and professional but giving enough space to enjoy yourself. Would highly recommend at any time of the year but particularly as we come into the warmer weather, it’s a beautiful place to visit.

Stanley electrical services Best around. Stuart is always available with his experience and willingness to help. Cate was brilliant at explaining the best place to put switches and lights , and willing to explain how things work together and no job was to big all small. I’ve left it far too long for my review but these guys were fantastic. I was wanting some network cabling around the house and they understood what was needed and offered good suggestions as well as doing last minute changes. Due to various aspects of my loft it ended up being an awkward job but they stuck at it and did a great job. I highly recommend them. Friendly, tidy and professional. Many thanks.

Stuart and his team have recently been working on a project for us and their service, expertise and ‘can-do’ attitude has been invaluable. We initially had no working boiler and then no working showers. We phoned Stanley Electrical Services because we have had a great experience with them in the past. We were booked in for that afternoon - the guys arrived bang on time, as usual. All of the team are experienced, friendly and professional. The problem turned out to be a faulty fuse box which could have resulted in much more serious consequences. All fixed and resolved fully within 45 minutes. Exceptional service, as always, exceptional value for money.

Best electricians in the area. Andy and Micheal are a league above the rest. They always arrived on time, worked with minimal disruption, didn't cut corners and remained professional at all times. We had a cabin installed in our garden, AWG fitted a new fuse box (so neatly may I add!) and ran the electrics and internet cabling under my flooring and along my garden fence, connecting to the cabin. Because they were so impressive I also had some extra sockets installed. 100% recommend. Don't go for the cheapest quote. You will just then have to pay AWG to fix it. Just get it done properly in the first place.

Andy was fantastic and I highly recommend him. He installed our EV charging point at home and fixed us up with a new electric board. Everything done perfectly and professionally. I can't praise Tony and his Team more. They are incredibly helpful, reliable, always on time, polite, offer competitive costs and always smiling. We had our kitchen redecorated and needed an electrician for all kinds of tasks. We asked Tony to come in a few times, often on short notice due to how our kitchen builder worked. We have used TWK Electrical a few times at home for relatively small jobs and always received excellent, speedy service. However last night the power went out at my parents house and it looked like the circuit breaker had blown, my parents were without heating, hot water or power. Left TWK a message via their website late that evening to see if they could assist and 5 minutes later got a call from Tony, this was at 10pm!! Explained the issue and the predicament my elderly parents were in and he promised to send his team round first thing next morning. Sure enough they turned up promptly at 8:30am, and couple of hours later a new RCD fuse box had been installed and power was restored. Can’t praise Tony and his team highly enough. Excellent service, great workmanship and lovely people to deal with who care about their customers. Thank you so much for helping my parents out so swiftly when they needed it.

Having suffered a rather negative experience with an electrical company, I needed to find electricians who were trustworthy and professional. In that respect I am so glad I contacted TWK Elelectrical. Tony's approach to our defective lighting circuit was logical and sound. Jed and Lloyd were polite, communicative, focused and results driven. Finding the faults was not easy but they accomplished the task in a most satisfactory and professional manner. Additionally the remaining circuits in the house were diligently tested and I received the required EICR certificate. Their bill was fair too. I strongly recommend TWK Electrical to others needing competent electricians.
