Nick and his team delivered their work to the highest standard at a very reasonable cost. He took the time to explain exactly what he was doing and answer all my questions. Nick has just replaced our asbestos garage roof with a new board and felt alternative. What an excellent job! He gave us great advice and provided a more expensive roof for less than I’d been quoted for a tin version. All work completed to a high standard within the timescales quoted. Nick is so personable, I shall have no hesitation in using him in the future.

Well it’s been nearly a year since Pete and Andy and the team took on my loft conversion. I can say that their professionalism, skill and just hard work finished my project on time to the day !!! Updating my review following a second job completed by Pete and Andy - excellent job again, and can thoroughly recommend - the work that they do is of the highest quality, but they are also very good post-completion at coming back for any snagging - have always felt everything is well communicated and have stuck to quoted prices. No hesitation in recommending and would certainly use them again.

Andy and Pete, with Nick and Graham, carried out our loft conversion this year and we are so happy with their work. What we liked best was their time-keeping (they ran exactly to schedule) and costing (they ran exactly to quote, except for some extras that we requested). As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.

Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! For your interest I attach before, during and after photos of their work here in Chandler's Ford We would not hesitate to recommend them.

I'm so pleased with these room dividers—they’re exactly what I wanted! The quality is superb, with careful attention to detail. Stuart was incredibly responsive and took the time to understand my needs, answering all my questions along the way. I have an open-plan living and kitchen area, and these dividers have made the space so much cosier and comfortable. I'll definitely be ordering more to complete the look! Very happy with our new gaming table, it's solid and robust (glad I opted to have the legs as removable, I don't think it would have fit through the door otherwise!). Each of the four "leaves" fit together nicely. We purchased a plastic cover to go under the table cloth to help protect any spillages from reaching the baize mat. We have had a couple of games on it already and it has the cat's approval for comfort. Communication with the company was good throughout. Would recommend for board gaming enthusiasts!

Two yellow rain warnings later, I can safely say the work Darren & team did on our leaky old roof did the trick! I've been hugely impressed by First Choice Roofing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I e-mailed last Thursday to request a quote; within less than fifteen minutes, I'd heard back and we arranged a visit that same day. By today (Wednesday) the work was complete! My garage roof - which had a huge amount of greenery to be removed - has been cleared, boarded and refelted to a high standard, as well as having guttering and drainpipe installed. Genuinely one of the easiest major property maintenance encounters I've ever had.

Barry and team did a fantastic job replacing the felt, battens, some beams and some tiles on my 1960s roof, plus replacement fascias, soffits and gutters and a refresh of my porch. He was amazingly responsive and good at communicating, and his team including David and Tom were excellent. I haven’t played all of them obviously, but I would say that this is one of the best courses I’ve experienced in England. Stunning greens and fairways like carpets, the course is well maintained by a team who know what good looks like and are passionate about golf. A real treat.

Great golf course, dry and in good condition even in winter. Only negatives are the proximity of the road and the need to cross it twice. Clubhouse bar has some great beers and the carvery lunch is very good.

Superb course, played it Jan 19th in 4 degree weather. Played of the whites and it’s a serious test of golf. Some very challenging long par fours but some very gettable par 5s. Great par 3s except perhaps 17 which does let the rest of them down slightly. Course was in great condition given rain and frost, can only imagine in peak times it would be utterly amazing. Would love to come back

We played the course today, and what a treat it was. I work as a maintenance contractor for many prestigious Surrey golf courses and I have played some of the best courses in the UK. I just played Formby last week. I have to say the condition of the course was better than any higher ranking courses in the area. I was absolutely blown away by how true and firm the greens were. The fairways, tees and aprons. 5 * condition. The course manager and his team have a clear passion for what they do. Absolute class. Esp for the time of year and the amount of rain we have had recently. Even the heather was better maintained than neighbouring courses. The new holes and layout have been so well executed you would never know which ones they are, but they have made the course so much better. The rye grass walk ways are a thing of beauty as well. Nothing is wanting here. I’m not sure why the course hasn't got a higher ranking in the top 100?

GE Carpentry provide a super service from start to finish and come highly recommended. Gavin's skills are second to none; he is a truly gifted carpenter and has very high standards. He is brilliant at design, and tailoring to the needs of his clients. Gavin has completed several jobs in my house. Most recently, he fitted new doors throughout my home; not the easiest of tasks with a mixture of imperial and metric, and not one straight frame. Gavin and Troy did a super job, so pleased with the results. They arrived on time and in good spirits every day - a pleasure to have working in my home. I would recommend Gavin to anyone.

We needed an emergency roof repair as a leak had brought down the ceiling plaster. This was from a leak supposedly fixed by another company who failed to identify the root cause if the leak. BB roofing arrived and immediately identified the problem as being the dormer window. They proceeded to replace the window and also re align all of our roof tiles. They were quick, professional and really helpful. The leak is now fixed. They even came in under the original quote as the job was quicker than expected. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be using them again if ever needed. Very refreshing to deal with honest upfront tradesmen. Thank you

Carport flat roof structural repair and three layer torch on felt application. Sam and Will did a thorough job of repairing and replacing the felt on my Carport. The felt was overdue replacement and as a result allowed water into the roof space, rotting joists etc. Will and Sam refitted soffits, and replaced rotted wood facia boards (a lot of time consuming work!) but did it all to a good standard in good time. Marvellous job! BB Roofing, competitively priced and highly recommended!

BB Roofing is an absolutely first class company. We have had the roof stripped, a new membrane fitted and re-tiled using the existing tiles. The chimney was repointed and repaired. Soffits Fascias and Guttering replaced. All the works carried out is of a very high standard. The service we received from Will and Sam was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend BB Roofing. We were having issues with water coming in through our roof. We initially thought it was old hips to blame. Will diagnosed a few holes in the lead valleys when he first came to inspect property. After very quickly receiving quotes, BB Roofing came and repaired / replaced all the hips and valleys and I’m happy with the quality of the end job. The team also took down the chimney to below rafters and made good the hole left in the roof. All in all a very good job and pleased with end result.
