BM Carpentry and Building recently reconstructed our kitchen, dining room and hallway into a modern spacious kitchen diner, including replacing double glazed rear door and two windows. We are very pleased with the finished spacious room. BM Carpentry and Building employed supporting specialist tradesmen who were also very professional. As a result of the great experience, we are having fury work by them. We would highly recommend them.

Brett and Wes recently completed an extension on our home. They were precessional, reliable and extremely trustworthy. It was a pleasure to have them working in our home. The quality of their work is always to an exceptionally high standard. They made the whole renovation process stress free for us. We have used them in the past and will 100% use them in the future for the rest of our renovation work.

Brett built a bespoke pottery studio for us and we are really pleased. It was a slightly awkward space but he understood what we wanted and gave us the best design and quote. His workmanship is a great standard and he was accommodating when we made changes along the way. Neat and tidy, helpful and professional. Definitely recommend

BM carpentry and building carried out our loft conversion and we really couldn’t be happier. The entire project - from initial conversations - until the final completion was so professional and the end result is perfect. Brett communicated clearly with us at each step and was very patient when explaining what needed to be done at each stage and what we should expect. We felt Brett really cared about our views and whether we were happy and he was fully committed to completing in the time frame he had laid out for us. We had great trust in Brett and his team and have used the company a few times for building or carpentry work and are planning on using them again.

Jake and his team are absolutely brilliant. Super-pleased with the end result. Jake designed and built a reception desk for our little business. Beautiful workmanship, great communication throughout. He is also a really nice guy, accommodating our needs to work out of normal working hours and just an absolute pleasure to work with. I will be asking him to do many more jobs when I get time to plan what I want! I would not hesitate for a second in recommending him.

Jake and his team have built two beautiful sets of shelves for us, one for the kitchen and one for a sitting room. The work was carefully planned and meticulously carried out on time. There was no problem with a couple of last minute additions that suggested themselves once the shelves were installed. We’re really pleased with the work. The team were pleasant, considerate and carefully cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommended.

Jake and his team built us a beautiful media unit with incredible attention to detail. They weren’t happy until everything was perfect! The finish is very high quality and we’re really happy. Would 100% recommend cutting edge.

Jake and the team bought my vision for my media wall to life and I love it. Totally transformed my lounge. Jake spent time with me going through design thoughts from my Pinterest ideas. He then thoroughly measured the space and discussed options. Very quick turn around on the design and together we made a few tweaks until we landed on what was possible. Jake then worked with the fireplace suppliers TJ Cole’s and my electrician PJ electrics to plan with us all the best way to build and implement everything. The quality and finish of their joinery and products is amazing. Throughout the week it took to implement they were a pleasure to have around and left everything spotless between days. I would highly recommend them and when I decide on my next room conversion Jake and the team will be at the top of list to call.

Tom is a very good carpenter, we had cladding put up the stairs and bedroom, he is very precise, having to tackle the unevenness of our old home , very polite and friendly. We’ve continued to use him whenever work is needed

We used Tom for a job we needed doing at home that I had tried to do but failed. 😁 Tom was quick to respond and did a great job finishing my deck rails with a router. Really nice guy and would highly recommend

Tom is a very reliable and skilled carpenter. He sorted out a tricky job for us where others may not have been willing. He did an absolutely beautiful job and we have been left with a very precisely built and smart wardrobe. He was super cheerful and bashed on independently and I would happily trust him with any other work we have. He was also bang on time and left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommend him to others but book him early as he’s in demand!

Andy and Pete, with Nick and Graham, carried out our loft conversion this year and we are so happy with their work. What we liked best was their time-keeping (they ran exactly to schedule) and costing (they ran exactly to quote, except for some extras that we requested). As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.

Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! Well it’s been nearly a year since Pete and Andy and the team took on my loft conversion. I can say that their professionalism, skill and just hard work finished my project on time to the day !!! Updating my review following a second job completed by Pete and Andy - excellent job again, and can thoroughly recommend - the work that they do is of the highest quality, but they are also very good post-completion at coming back for any snagging - have always felt everything is well communicated and have stuck to quoted prices. No hesitation in recommending and would certainly use them again.

John has helped me build windows, doors and furniture. his work is truly first class. highly recommended.

Lewis advised and replaced the bannisters on our stairs. He did a great job and was polite and courteous. I will be using his services again…. And I did, this time to replace all our internal doors with oak ones. Craig and Garath did an amazing job; they were really friendly and polite and left no mess.

The experience from start to finish has been fantastic! I was given a really reasonable quote, and though additional costs were added (due to extra work which needed to be carried out) these were also really reasonably priced and I was kept well informed about it before the work was carried out. I'd also discovered what can only be described as a nightmare of hidden pipework under the old larder (before work was due to be carried out), and though my own worries about this caused delays with the work starting, Lewis was really supportive in addressing this and was really quick to respond to all of my concerns. Garath fitted my new cabinets, moved my extractor fan/boxing, replaced my windowsill and also worked on a few extra areas in the kitchen and I'm honestly impressed with how good it all looks! All his work has been topnotch and throughout the process he was always polite and took the trouble to answer any questions I had. Work was also finished really quickly which was a bonus! My thanks to you both - can't recommend highly enough!

Gareth who works for Lewis is fantastic and the workmanship in fitting our kitchen has been incredible. There has been a lot of pride taken in making everything top Notch. Simon built us some understairs storage and a faux chimney breast. Simon easily turned our ideas in reality and did a fantastic job - we couldn't be happier with the end result! He was punctual and professional throughout the build, always asked our input on items and advised us where we needed it. I couldn't recommend more!
