I'm very impressed with my dealings with this business and the work carried out in my bathroom to address mould and paint issues, which went above and beyond what I'd expected. Pleasant, punctual and professional. I'd been let down in the past and also work by previous contractors needed to be corrected. Happy to recommend and consider for future work.

Highly recommend. I paid for flat pack assembly - a 2 door sliding wardrobe, chest of drawers and 2 bedside tables. Great communications, extremely polite and professional, quick to get the job done and a fantastic finish. Very happy customer and will return for future jobs.

We needed various jobs done around our home as we were preparing to move out: replacing a hob top, fixing a dent in a door, replacing curtain fixtures, rebuilding drawers, etc. All of the work was done to an excellent standard, done quickly and professionally, and we couldn't be more pleased. We are definitely calling again for our new home because we feel safe and comfortable that the job will be done right!

The HBS team were excellent from start to finish with a fire door replacement. Prompt, clear, and regular communication prior to the installation, professional service throughout (including working late to fix a problem with a piece of the fitting), and good quality assurance and follow-up. We will be using HBS again for our next work! (In fact we already are.)

Can’t recommend George enough! He worked through a list of jobs on the first visit from blinds to my garden gate and then he built the most awesome media wall for me in less than 2 days finished and painted whilst fitting in other little jobs. He is unfazed by any jobs and is awesome at woodwork. Professional and friendly I highly recommend him!

We were thrilled with the work of George The Handyman. We have already had him return to do more jobs around our home. George helped us with a broad range of tasks, including fixing door handles, hanging mirrors, installing floating oak shelves, redoing bathroom silicone, attaching child-safe furniture straps, installing a water butt and wallpapering, as well as building us bespoke made-to-measure shelves in our lounge, plus much more! George was easy to communicate with, punctual, very organised and tidy. He worked through our list of jobs efficiently while discussing everything with us to ensure we were happy with the finished result. We also really appreciated his transparent pricing. George is an incredibly hard worker, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Best Handyman you'll ever have. Completes every task with attention to detail and always has a solution if there's a hitch. You'll have to book him well in advance but it's worth the wait. George is a thoroughly honest and decent person and his modest charges reflect this. He perfectly installed our wall panels and much, much more.

Will arrived bang on time, and fixed several repairs. a lovely job on repairing/rehanging our wooden gate so that it opens properly, reglazing a shed window where the frame was rotten, and started work on repairing parts of our decking. All this and dismantling a pergola in 3 hours! Will is polite, timely and a worker of "old-school" sustainable values. We are already looking for the next batch of work for him! Excellent service and reasonably priced. Will came to my rescue and put up x2 curtains poles for me as I had difficulty with the brick/concrete walls and I was too scared to drill through them, It may seem like a minor job but it’s made all the difference to my house feeling like a home. Harry has just finished doing 10 of my windows, a summer house, front porch an outhouse door. When he came round to quote, I knew straight away that he was going to an excellent job on what were tired and in some places, rotted windows. He replaced a number of beads and expertly restored the rest. To say I’m pleased with what’s he’s done, just doesn’t do justice to the massive amount of hard graft and amazing attention to detail he showed. I’m absolutely delighted with the results. I would recommend Harry in a heartbeat.

Harry painted our landing and stairs, including sanding and varnishing the banister. It all looks fabulous. Harry worked extremely diligently and had to cope with a very inquisitive cat! To top it all the price was extremely reasonable and I will be using him again for projects in the future.

Trevor provides a fantastic service. He is very professional, but also friendly, which is important when you've go someone in your house. He came and put in 3 shelves in my airing cupboard, fitted around my water tank and he did a great job. Wasn't sure I would be able to get 3 shelves, but he managed it and they look awesome. What a nice knowlegable guy. Trevor came at short notice and fitted a floating console unit, hung a picture and levelled off some seriously off level cupboard doors. I could not be more pleased with what he did, the way he works and how respectfully he treated my property. Highly recommended.

Moved house 7 weeks ago and had a long list of things to get done from shelves in the kitchen/utility, a shed to build, a garden office to finish and so on. Trevor is working his way through the list and everything is done to a high standard. He has such a broad range of skills, never over commits and is reliable. He is also a very decent guy. Recommend him highly for a wide range of jobs.

We found Dayan and the team on Google to help us out with technical domestic jobs for our mum at her home. Dayan and his team are extremely friendly, are always on hand to help and are really understanding with clear communication. Additionally, their rates are very competitive and to a high standard. Dayan replaced some LED lights for me in the garage.He was very calm, professional, well organised while being very easy to liaise with. I am very pleased with the work Dayan undertook, better than the original installation. Dayan is multi skilled, and will be our first call for getting the house and garden jobs that need his skills. Found Dayan via Google, I usually like to go via personal recommendation but the Google reviews were great and I needed my TV mounting quite quickly. I was initially booked in a few days ahead, which was appreciated given my late request, but as Dayan had an appointment change he contacted me and was able to help me on the day! Steve has helped me on numerous occasions, he has overseen a major plumbing job for me, sourcing the plumber and organising the whole thing. He has put up shelving for me, helped with moving a piano and many other odd jobs. Steve is always happy to help, even with the small things and I recommend him to anyone looking for a good, honest and reliable tradesman. A thoroughly decent chap.
