We needed various jobs done around our home as we were preparing to move out: replacing a hob top, fixing a dent in a door, replacing curtain fixtures, rebuilding drawers, etc. All of the work was done to an excellent standard, done quickly and professionally, and we couldn't be more pleased. George is a thoroughly honest and decent person and his modest charges reflect this. He perfectly installed our wall panels and much, much more.

Can’t recommend George enough! He worked through a list of jobs on the first visit from blinds to my garden gate and then he built the most awesome media wall for me in less than 2 days finished and painted whilst fitting in other little jobs. He is unfazed by any jobs and is awesome at woodwork. Professional and friendly I highly recommend him!

Will arrived bang on time, and fixed several repairs. a lovely job on repairing/rehanging our wooden gate so that it opens properly, reglazing a shed window where the frame was rotten, and started work on repairing parts of our decking. All this and dismantling a pergola in 3 hours! Will is polite, timely and a worker of "old-school" sustainable values. We are already looking for the next batch of work for him! He refitted a blind that had previously been put up incorrectly, refitted a curtain pole and put up two new light fittings. He was neat and tidy with his work and was a reasonable price. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Will came to my rescue and put up x2 curtains poles for me as I had difficulty with the brick/concrete walls and I was too scared to drill through them, It may seem like a minor job but it’s made all the difference to my house feeling like a home. Found Dayan via Google, I usually like to go via personal recommendation but the Google reviews were great and I needed my TV mounting quite quickly. I was initially booked in a few days ahead, which was appreciated given my late request, but as Dayan had an appointment change he contacted me and was able to help me on the day! Bit late with the review, but like many others I was very impressed. Great work repairing our fence & garage. Really polite, helpful and explained everything in detail. He even popped back to return the cup from a brew I made him. Marvelous.

Trevor provides a fantastic service. He is very professional, but also friendly, which is important when you've go someone in your house. He came and put in 3 shelves in my airing cupboard, fitted around my water tank and he did a great job. Wasn't sure I would be able to get 3 shelves, but he managed it and they look awesome. Trevor advertises as a handyman, but he is much more than that. He is a precision handyman. He always plans his work carefully, and then executes that plan with great accuracy. He has done 5 jobs for us now, the latest was the complete installation of a kitchen. The kitchen was from a mid-range supplier, Wren, but thanks to Trevor's attention to detail it looks like a kitchen that would have cost twice the price.

We contacted Trevor to help solve some issues after being let down by a builder. Trevor is friendly, arrived when he said he would and has helped to complete our new kitchen. He is very professional and pays attention to detail, a true craftsman. We do not hesitate to recommend Trevor 🙂

Harry has just finished doing 10 of my windows, a summer house, front porch an outhouse door. When he came round to quote, I knew straight away that he was going to an excellent job on what were tired and in some places, rotted windows. He replaced a number of beads and expertly restored the rest. To say I’m pleased with what’s he’s done, just doesn’t do justice to the massive amount of hard graft and amazing attention to detail he showed. I’m absolutely delighted with the results. I would recommend Harry in a heartbeat.

The HBS team were excellent from start to finish with a fire door replacement. Prompt, clear, and regular communication prior to the installation, professional service throughout (including working late to fix a problem with a piece of the fitting), and good quality assurance and follow-up.
