Nat arrived within ten minutes of our phone call to deal with a very active wasps nest. He located the point they were entering within another five minutes and had dealt with the problem within another ten ...so all together from start to finish about half an hour ! - excellent service...just have to wait for them to die and leave us in peace!! Definitely recommend

Nat was recommended to me by a friend to help with a rodent problem. He was extremely helpful and efficient, as well as being a really nice bloke. Nat carried out a full survey of the house and garden, investigating any possible access points and explaining how rodents move around and how they may have got in. He laid some dog-friendly bait in one area and some stronger bait in another area and explained how it would work and what to expect - including any smell. He even recommended things I could buy to help with the smell. He also made some recommendations of actions to be taken at possible access sites to prevent the problem reoccurring. A lovely man providing an excellent all-round service. I can highly recommend.

I can't recommended Mike & Abbotstone Pest Control highly enough. We initially wasted 2 months working through multiple pest control businesses who would do a bad job and just disappear. We were losing all faith in the industry when we were referred to Abbotstone Pest Control by someone who had a similar experience. From Mike's first visit it was clear that we had found someone who would solve our problems. Mike is incredibly thorough, he comes with years of experience and know-how but doesn't assume every case is the same and invests hours assessing the problem and looking for the root cause rather than a quick fix. We knew our problem wasn't ever going to be an overnight fix but once we found Abbotstone Pest Control and had Mike working with us, we always had confidence that it would be rectified and we were always thankful for methodical and transparent approach. Each visit was action-orientated and when we needed to bring in other contractors for drainage work Mike worked closely with them to ensure alignment. In situations which are obviously stressful and upsetting to have around your home, Mike is very reassuring and empathetic and works through the problem with you - providing you with a clear explanation of where the problem is coming from and how to fix it permanently. Mandy and her apprentice, Erica, were just amazing. I had felt slightly traumatised by our infestation of mice, but, after Mandy’s visit, I felt relieved and more relaxed! Mandy helped me understand what signs to look for, what the root causes of the mouse influx were and how to mitigate the risk of future entry. The visits were thorough and full of insightful information. Mandy and Erica were fun and friendly too, and I noticed how Mandy took the time to explain her findings and tactics to her apprentice in a really clear and thoughtful way. Discussed options, recommended and installed a physical barrier to prevent ongoing rat burrowing underneath a concrete plinth by our garage. Jonathan was easy to work with, completed the work as expected, on time and to the estimated cost, and he left the place neat and tidy. He has also offered a follow up when he is next passing to check that all is well.

We have no hesitation in recommending this company. Jonathon is highly experienced in eradicating pests in our case the squirrels (also mice) that were resident in our attic. He was very polite and thorough in his initial survey of our property and quickly found the entrance that these pests were getting in. After eradicating the pest he repaired the places where they were getting in. The cost of his work was very very reasonable. He is a 5 star saviour!

We called Jonathan in the morning and explained our situation, that we had inherited a flea issue from the previous tenants in a new property we had just moved into. He was extremely helpful and professional and came that day at no extra cost. I have contacted Jonathan on a few occasions regarding pests in my home. He is extremely professional and always finds the cause of the problem. He found a hole in my house and even went to buy materials to fill the hole then and there for me. He always follows up his work a few days later to check the issue is resolved or if any further support is needed. And he was happy to answer my many questions I had! I was very surprised when receiving my invoice as it was very reasonably priced for the amount of time he spent sorting treatment and filling holes for me! I can not thank him enough!

Following previous reviews, I contacted Rob, to see if he could call in to check whether we had a rodent visitor. Initial survey by Rob didn’t identify any access but he left a couple of things which should have identified whether there were rodents visiting. Just a few days later, Rob returned to check, but the things had not been touched. With some further information during the last week, Rob was able to identify access to a small bird, and has made the access impenetrable so our visitor appears to have been 2 legged, rather than 4! Robs pricing is great, with visit charges working very well for us, and him I think. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Rob first should we have any need, as his knowledgeable approach and information is great. Many thanks Rob, for attending so quickly, and with a fantastic result for us.
