I cannot rate this company highly enough. Adrian is an absolute star! My mum had called his company in, due to a suspect lice infestation in her home. On inspection, he found that the house was clear, but mum seems to be delusional & was insistent that she does have lice. Thankfully, Adrian has come across this type of situation before & acted professionally, avoiding possibly stressing mum further. He phoned me to advise me of the situation & let me know of his concerns. He suggested a referral to a GP. Thanks to Adrian, we have spoken to her GP & are hopefully on the way to getting some answers as to what is going on with mum. If this wasn’t enough, Adrian refused to take any payment for this visit! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company. 5 stars? More like 10!!

Adrian has been fantastic from start to finish. I contacted him just before Christmas (on a Sunday) due to a rat issue that was causing a great deal of stress and despite his busy schedule he made time to come out and investigate the next day. He kept me informed of his ETA on the day (due to an early appointment taking longer than anticipated) which was greatly appreciated and when he arrived, he got to work straight away. Adrian assessed the issue and explained the situation clearly to myself and my neighbour. He talked through the options available to deal with the issue and the pros and cons of both options so we could make an informed decision on how best to proceed. Adrian also offered some valuable advice on how to try and prevent any further issues arising in the future. If you are looking for an experienced professional, who is polite, turns up when they say will, always keeps you informed and gets the job done then look no further than Adrian. I honestly cannot recommend Adrian highly enough. He was patient and empathetic in what I can only describe as an incredibly stressful situation and was always happy to talk through any concerns I had. In the nicest possible way, I hope I don’t need to call on Adrian again but I wouldn’t hesitate in doing so if needed. Thank you so much Adrian, we really appreciate all your help.

We had a rat issue in our loft and cavity walls for a while now and tried other pest control companies and various DIY pest products but didn't solve our problem. We contacted Countrywide and Kurt came out originally he did an amazing job identifying where the breach was and acted swiftly this included our neighbours property. We had two further visits from Lewis who is so knowledgeable and approachable he put our minds at rest that the issue has been finally solved. I will recommend Countrywide for all pest issues. Quick response to my initial enquiry about pigeons roosting in my porch alcoves and Tony was able to come and carry out the proposed fix very soon after. Work carried out professionally. Tony was very knowledgeable about pigeons and their habits and we discussed ways to avoid them returning.

Tony was absolutely diligent in his approach. He meticulously and successfully pursued his plan to find the entry and exit points used by the rodents, employing phosphorescent powder to track following a camera survey of the sewer system, all for a very reasonable price. I recommend this company, and Tony specifically, unreservedly. So very different to the usual attitude of put poison down, go away, return, put down more poison and charge a fortune for the privilege!

Lee came out to our house the next day after we contacted him with an ant problem inside our house. Lee came well equipped with treatment and knowledge. He was able to lay the treatment in a way that was safe to my young child which I appreciated. And left me with clear instructions. Contacted Lee as we add an issue with rodents on the loft and inside a cavity wall, he was able to visit on the same day which we really appreciated. Lee kept us informed regarding his methods and what to expect. Three weeks after the initial call, Lee visited us for the last time as there were no more signs of rodents. Had a rat in the loft for several weeks and couldn't catch it with my traps. Called Steve from Thames Valley Pest control and he came out within a few days. (Probably could have been sooner, but I was working) Steve was really friendly and sorted our rat problem with just one visit, he still came back for the following two visits to check everything was ok and make sure no other furry friends were up in the loft. Gave suggestions on how to prevent more coming in and he even visited the neighbours to see if the entry point was next door. TLDR. Fantastic, would highly recommend.

Excellent service from Steve - he was able to attend our house very quickly and it was immediately obvious he was an expert! We had a wasps nest under some decking in the garden and Steve did what he could be after a couple of days the wasps were back. This time I removed some of the decking and Steve kindly returned to do a further treatment now he could access way more of the site. A very professional and friendly service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steve.

Such a speedy and friendly service! Incredibly personable and professional. I asked for advice through a local Facebook group and the next moment I was raising a request through their website with and incredibly quick turn around in response. The next day we were on my allotment plot and the wasps nest was no more! Shane listened to me without judgement and took his time to ensure that my disturbing the nest had really not moved them on. A little jab in the ground with a shovel and the soldiers were out for revenge! A quick douse in the ground later and the Queen was seen to. Absolute legend! Can’t thank you enough!!

I can not rate Shane at RIDTEK highly enough. We had an ongoing rat problem (in the loft and in the walls for several months) and were beginning to think we were stuck with them. We initially used another company who surveyed the property but could not definitively confirm how they were getting in and out and they put bait in the loft and in the drains. After several weeks the problem was no better, and we lost faith. A Google search brought us to Shane and he has literally become our hero. He did his own - much better - survey of our property and within less than an hour he had established how they were getting in and out. We installed our own cameras to test his theory and he was absolutely spot on. We caught the rats on camera doing exactly what he said they were doing. An eviction plan then followed and we are now rat free. If you have rats in or around your property do not waste your time going to anyone else. RIDTEK are the best in the business. Rang Tom in the Newbury office as a wasps nest by a window had been discovered whilst double glazers were fitting windows. Tom was very helpful and gave excellent pragmatic advice and we spoke a couple of times over a couple of days. He always rang back as agreed. An appointment was booked and Lewis (Lee?) turned up as agreed and was very engaging and practical. Not only did he treat the nest but also checked the rest of the House outside in case they had set up home elsewhere too. Very impressive genuine service at fair price. I would definitely use again. A Gentleman arrived on time, His name Sam Hellewell, explained the procedure and what he was going to do, he inspected my loft and explained what sort of flies were there, he was very professional and polite and respectful. Thank you very much Sam for carrying out this work for us and putting our mind at rest. I would recommend this company as he also explained to me that all the work was guaranteed, he also mentioned that if I opened the loft in a week and there was still a problem with the cluster flies the company would come out and fix the problem without charge, so I really respect that honesty, Thank you Countrywide Pest Control Services.
