We went to the Eastleigh winter event today and I can honestly say that I was very impressed. I was expecting the usual array of 'junk' stands, overpriced and under quality, wow was I wrong! This event was what all events should strive for. A wide array of high quality, handmade items. There was a really broad selection of items and the prices were VERY impressive. The atmosphere was brilliant, everybody was very friendly and it really did exude Christmas. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would like to thank those responsible for making it such a wonderful day. This is what a Christmas event should be

Khia & Kirsty @ The Events Co were so helpful in making sure our wedding ran smoothly this Summer! They took care of furniture, catering, staffing, on the day co-ordination and moral support!! No request or question was too much and they were so amazing at making sure we had everything perfect for us - it really was the best day! Kirsty’s on the day coordination was absolutely amazing and made sure we stuck to our timings throughout the day and we always had a drink in our hands! We decided to use Events Co for our wedding at Appuldurcombe House after meeting Khia at two Wedding fayre’s at Medina & IOW Pearl. From the very start Khia had the answers in terms of power, toilets, tables, food, decor, staff, a bar and so much more specifically at our venue and had several meetings and phone calls with us over a 22 month period building up to the big day. Consistent calls and emails with Khia and her colleague Kirsty ensured everything we had booked and wanted was ready to go and nothing was ever forced or unreasonable, if anything the opposite. As the wedding approached they really came in to their own, checking on finer details such as what flavour ice creams we preferred on the ice cream bike and the positioning of the burger van (out of a horse box) they had also provided. On the Thursday and Friday like clockwork Khia and the team were there, everything as ordered and being set up exactly how we wanted it, at one point extra staff were there to help set up the tables and decorate, something we didn’t even expect! Every member of the team worked so hard to get our wedding ready and on the day they were great with on the day coordination from Khia themself and the canapés, two course lunch (3 choices for each course) and then our burger and chips van exceeded expectation and got great feedback from our guests! Khia and the team remained on hand all day and eve to ensure rooms were switched round and pudding tables were topped up as well as keeping the guests watered at the bar! Full of good spirits, banter, accommodating our guests needs and having pics with my dad and refusing my mums supply of apple pies she had got reduced the day before! The wedding went perfectly and Events Co made it what it was without doubt! They were legends all of them and a massive part of our day being what it was. Thank you so much Adan & Harriet!

Right from the start Events and Co couldn’t have done more for us. From meeting with Khia when we just needed someone to make us feel calmer to the big details of organising everything. We loved how honest they were with everything about our wedding and bringing out ideas to life. The food on the day was also incredible, with pretty much everyone speaking to us after about how amazing our wedding food was!!! And then our coordinator Kirsty, she honestly made us feel like our wedding was the most important day she had ever been on. As I Arrived she was even carrying my nephew ,who had already taken to her, to pass her to my sister ready to goo down the aisle. She couldn’t have helped more to make sure everything went seamlessly and not just this but throughout the day she was so smooth that she just made everyone fall in love with her and even sent us some pictures and videos the next morning that she’d got for us ! She worked amazingly with all the suppliers and we honestly didn’t have a thing to worry about all day! I couldn’t recommend this company enough and will continue with everyone that I know getting married or married handing an event from health forward. We used The Events Co for our wedding at New Barn Farm this summer and could not recommend them enough. Their furniture/crockery hire service was so seamless with delivery the day ahead of when we started set up which gave us plenty of time, the catering was exceptional - they worked with us to create a bespoke BBQ menu and all the guests commented afterwards how great the food was - and the team’s waiting and bar staff were so accommodating and friendly. But Kirsty’s on the day coordination was by far the star of the show and something I would recommend to any couple. Nothing phased her - specific guest requirements, room change overs, even last minute change of plans due to the weather - she made our day run so smoothly and we’ll be forever grateful!

We have worked with Rosie on events including our own open weekends and she is an absolute joy to work with. She is great at organising people, extremely friendly and approachable. Not only is she creative but she is able to take your ideas and turn them into something truly spectacular. Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

Matt & Rach catered our wedding in June. The food was excellent, attention to detail fantastic, collaboration with the other suppliers seamless, and all our interactions were so friendly and calming. They're adept catering events of any size (we had 150), and more than happy to go off menu and create anything you want which was very meaningful to us. It was really helpful getting their advice on other parts of our wedding not strictly catering related as well, which they were always happy to help out with. Martha Hollis catered for our wedding in September and I really couldn't recommend them highly enough. Ever since the first phone call they were so friendly, efficient, quick to reply and unbelievably flexible with all our asks - nothing fazed them! The tasting was great fun and they happily tweaked the menu which allowed us to have some personal elements to the dishes which meant a lot. The bar staff were incredible at serving the numerous different drinks we wanted to offer (frozen margaritas from a slushie machine were a hit!) and Rach made the most stunning (and delicious) wedding cake. They took all the stress out of any of the organisational aspects by liaising with all the other suppliers. On the day they set up the tables beautifully and took great care with all the small details we had requested. So many guests commented on how amazing the service was and how charming everyone was. We had 150 guests and canapes, 3 plated courses and big pan mac and cheese for later in the evening. All of it was utterly delicious and during the reception they ensured everyone always had a full glass and plenty of canapes! The quality of the food was outstanding and Matt and team made everything seem so easy and run like clockwork. They were an integral part of making our wedding day so wonderful and we couldn't thank you enough.

The Martha Hollis team are easily the best catering company we’ve ever come across. They went above and beyond in every single aspect of catering our wedding and made it the single best experience we could have ever asked for. Even from initial contact they assisted us along the way with what we’d need quantity wise and gave us such a detailed wedding tasting experience that made us so excited for the food from the very start. All along the build up to the wedding they were in contact with the venue or the companies working along side them so we had the least amount of admin and stress. They made our experience fun and exciting not stressful and overwhelming. The food itself was a knockout, a huge open pit BBQ sat in the corner of our outdoor summer wedding perfectly grilling the bavette steaks with chimichurri, local Hampshire trout all over the coals and a roasted cauliflower dish with lemon hazelnut crumb that almost everyone attending the wedding came up to us and said they couldn’t believe how tastey it was. We really love our food as well and this lived up to exceeded every single expectation. Incredible how they can get that much flavour into a dish for a large scale event. The canapés were to die for also and they made sure that not only everyone tried all of them, but Vic made sure that Rosie and I also were able to try them through the day and not miss out on our lovely food. Their staff were also so happy and cheerful yet also worked in the background so subtley, cannot thank the staff enough. The evening was also a knockout with the huge open pan Mac and cheese that people were obsessed with with crispy bacon jalapeños, chorizo you name it?! Rach even designed and made our wedding cake for us and my god was it beautiful and delicious. There aren’t enough words to fit in a review that would sum up how amazing Matha Hollis were in making our day the best day of our lives. I attempted a wedding fair at the holiday inn and event Themes immediately caught my eye the table display looked beautiful and I knew I I wanted them to decorate our venue. Unfortunately our wedding got cancelled three times down to covid but jodie was amazing and kept in contact with me all the way through. Jodie's talent and skill is breathtaking. Her artistic arrangements are just beautiful and her ability to truly listen to her clients makes the displays and the work she produces so personal and unique. 5 stars are not enough! From the day I met Jodie she put my mind at ease! I didn't have a clue where to begin planning a wedding, Jodie patiently sat down with me (and my Pinterest board) and went through everything. Jodie made examples of the centerpieces I had shown her in our colour scheme and they were exactly what we had wanted. Closer to the date Jodie met with myself and my husband and made sure we had everything we needed and reminded us of things we'd forgotten along the way. Throughout the whole process Jodie was never pushy for us to spend more money and worked alongside us with our budget. On the day everything was beautiful and the time and effort spent on every little detail was obvious. I would recommend event themes for any occasion and will definitely be using them again for future events! Thank you!

Yesterday evening was a Diamond Wedding 60 years Celebration in Lyndhurst. John Smart, the DJ, was absolutely fantastic. The music played was perfectly chosen and really got everybody up dancing. We had an amazing experience with John as our wedding DJ! From our first contact, he was incredibly efficient, responsive, and genuinely helpful, making the whole process so much easier. We opted for the DJ service, laser light, and the giant “Mr & Mrs Smith” light letters, all of which added a special touch to our evening. John kept the energy up all night with a fantastic array of music that appealed to everyone. The dance floor was always full, and our guests had a wonderful time. John and the team were absolutely fantastic! They were incredibly responsive to all my emails and questions leading up to the event. We hired 360 photobooth, lettering and silent disco. As soon as we walked into Chesil House we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding, it ticked every box it even has a lift for those in our family that would need one. Charlotte and her team were amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble, everything was just seamless and stress free, even when the Limo we booked was too long to fit into the yard, Charlotte sorted it. There was never any need for us to panic or stress. Our wedding day was perfect in every way, Chesil House, the beautiful gardens, everything was stunning. One of our guests was unfortunately taken unwell early in the day, everyone at Chesil house rallied around to make sure everything was taken care of. We were continually updated and knew that they were in safe hands and being looked after which helped us to continue enjoying our special day. We cannot recommend having your wedding at Chesil House highly enough. We had the perfect day with so many memories that we will cherish forever. What a beautiful place, so pretty and calming for funerals and other ceremonies. The staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome, and we are forever grateful to Steels' funeral directors and Claire, our ceremony speaker it was just perfect for our needs and wishes. The garden room was stunning with it beautiful garden view and the river running through. Celia would have been very pleased we chose you to help us send her onto her new garden up above x. Thank you so much x Parking place to help to others there is a big car park over the road from the little roundabout it is set back a little bit from the traffic lights and pedestrian crossing big red building 9 floors and 3 pounds to park for the day! I cannot recommend Stacey & her team enough! I worked with them for the first time last summer (although I had heard great things from other suppliers previously). It was effortless! Everything ran so seamlessly; nothing was too much trouble. They helped gather people for photos, which is always great! We are so grateful to have had Stacey as our wedding coordinator – I honestly can’t say enough good things! We both agreed, that hiring Stacey was hands down one of the best investments we made for our wedding. We had the best day of our lives and having Stacey and Ali there on the day meant we could enjoy our day to the absolute max! From our very first meeting, it was clear that Stacey was not only professional but also genuinely passionate about making our day exactly what we wanted. Stacey was on hand to help with our planning when needed, I booked in a power hour call about 9 months out from the wedding which was exactly what I needed to keep me on track with planning. We had our final details call around 2 weeks before the wedding and it was the best feeling to hand over all of our suppliers to Stacey at that point, knowing it was all in hand and she knew exactly how we envisioned our day running. On the day of the wedding, Stacey and Ali went above and beyond. They handled everything seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day literally zero stress. Everything was considered and organised so well, from our quick-fire family photos to Stacey’s genius plan of doing a receiving line on the way out of the drinks reception to make sure our guests started to make their way to their seats on time. We received so many compliments from our guests about Stacey and Ali and how brilliant they were. The fact that we are still WhatsApp-ing 2 months after the wedding tells you all you need to know – Stacey genuinely cares about the couples she works with. Stacey is a genuine, warm, helpful and wise person. She is very personable and grasps a good understanding of individuals, couples and their visions for their dream celebrations. We opted for on the day management and this was invaluable especially as we had a number of unforeseen challenges to contend with in the run up to and on the day (15.06.24) such as our wedding cake maker cancelling just one month before and entertainment arriving late on the day! Her team are proactive, resourceful and good fun. On our day, Jess was leading and she and the rest of the team were great engaging with us, our guests and even leading on the Candy by Cameo dance 💃🏻 Thoughtful messages and gifts from Stacey before and on the day really enhanced the experience for us and we can wholeheartedly recommend the service she provides for anyone who wants full planning and/or on-the-day coordination for weddings or any celebration in fact!
