We had our wedding at The Barn at Avington last week and it was honestly perfect. The venue has the perfect mix of outdoor and indoor space to personalise and make your own and the location is beautiful. Beth is absolutely amazing and will help make your ideas come to life! We couldn't thank her enough for helping make our wedding day the day it was. It was such a fun, relaxed day and we've had (and still getting) so many compliments from our friends and family.

You have to book The Barn at Avington for your wedding it is a stunning venue by the river Itchen with beautiful scenery and most importantly you get Stacey Page help you with your big day!! As a person who loves organisation, watching Stacey and her team work was SO SO SO SO satisfying. They were smooth and seamless and without them our day wouldn’t have been as special as it was. All the stress and anxiety of a DIY wedding just went away on the big day when Stacey and her team took everything out of our hands. We hired the Lake House Cottage for a strategy away day, evening and stay over. The space worked perfectly for both the group strategy sessions and social side in the evening. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and the surroundings serene and calm, perfect for stepping back, building trust and discussing the future. The team at The Grange were excellent, the food delicious and the break was an overall huge success, I can’t recommend this venue more highly. Ed W

We could not speak more highly of The Grange as a venue. The team support you right from square one becoming advisors, supporters, cheerleaders, rational but creative thinkers and friends. They have excellent supplier recommendations from caterers (Becka Cooper is a-class), florists (Wildbunch are so wonderful) and tech leads (Peachy Productions know the building like the back of their hand), to name a few. The nearby Abbotstone Farmhouse and Clock Tower make for superb guest accommodation where every commodity and need is thought of. We honestly can not fault any of it and as an events lead for almost a decade, the experience of planning our wedding there was just top tier. We adore them all and recommend it to everyone planning a wedding, party, away day, celebration and more!

The Grange was the first venue we viewed and, from the moment we arrived, we knew that this would be the place where we would celebrate our wedding! Julia made us feel so welcome from our first meeting and, throughout the planning process, we were incredibly well looked after by the whole team. Tara was brilliant in helping us to fine tune the wedding weekend - we booked all of the on-site accommodation to allow our family, plus the bridesmaids and groomsmen to celebrate with us for the whole weekend, which was the best decision ever! A separate review for the accommodation will follow. They also recommended amazing suppliers, such as Becka Cooper (our joyful caterer who is a certified culinary genius) Ward-Brown (our incredible and fun-loving photographer who captured the attached photos), Wildbunch (our wonderful floristry team who made the most spectacular floral arrangements), Whitwams (who used thoughtfully arranged lighting and sound to bring the Grange to life) and Allens (who provided the pristine table linen and beautiful crockery and glassware). Now, for the wedding day! The emotion I felt when our vintage bus bumbled along the driveway and we got our first glimpse of the Grange is difficult to put into words, but (as cheesy as it sounds) it was a dream come true. When we arrived, Julia, Tara and Amanda were waiting with glasses of fizz and beaming smiles. The two years of teamwork had paid off! 💞 Throughout the wedding reception, all three wonderful ladies were mingling with our guests, attentively looking after us all and ensuring everything went smoothly. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the time of our lives all day and night. They even gave us a personalised card and a bottle of The Grange sparkling wine! They also captured their own wonderful footage, which they made into a reel for us to enjoy when we woke up the next morning. Right up until Midnight, the whole team waiting staff, lead by Amanda, were kind and attentive to all of our guests. We have had so many compliments since the wedding about the Grange team and their attention to detail, warmth and friendliness. They have also been described by multiple guests as ‘the best looking staff team’ they have ever seen! We honestly feel as though we have gained a new family since we booked our wedding two years ago, the Grange experience is like no other and we will be forever grateful for it! ✨

Absolute perfection-- we LOVED our stay in the charming Clock Tower. Gorgeous and easy location, excellent amenities (great window treatments for letting in the sun or closing for privacy, very comfortable beds, crisp linens, full fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, well-stocked kitchen, multiple bathrooms with giant tub or rainfall shower), and everything you need for a short or long visit. There is so much to do in the area, and coming back to the apartment at night under the stars was magical. Tara and her team were so proactive and welcoming: definitely 10/10. They even provided welcome treats and local recommendations for children. It was the best stay of our whole trip. Thank you for a wonderful time-- the kids are asking to come back for a longer stay as soon as possible!

A beautiful venue and very attentive staff.

As soon as we walked into Chesil House we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding, it ticked every box it even has a lift for those in our family that would need one. Charlotte and her team were amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble, everything was just seamless and stress free, even when the Limo we booked was too long to fit into the yard, Charlotte sorted it. There was never any need for us to panic or stress. Our wedding day was perfect in every way, Chesil House, the beautiful gardens, everything was stunning. One of our guests was unfortunately taken unwell early in the day, everyone at Chesil house rallied around to make sure everything was taken care of. We were continually updated and knew that they were in safe hands and being looked after which helped us to continue enjoying our special day. We cannot recommend having your wedding at Chesil House highly enough. We had the perfect day with so many memories that we will cherish forever. Staff were very good and thoughtful. Anyone needing Chesil House is likely need a caring environment, so would recommend when compared to the alternatives.

Jodie was an absolute pleasure to work with from the moment we began. She listened to what we wanted and made it happen, and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. The flowers were stunning, the table decorations, the ramp decorations, the lanterns, the aisle and even down to her helping us make a U shaped table possible- was all perfect. Every single guest commented on how beautiful it was and complimented her work. Thank you to all at Event Themes by JW for the time spent setting up the on Friday and Saturday and for making the moving of flowers and relaying/ adding bar table’s absolutely seem less! I could literally go on and on about each and every aspect of the day… but I won’t. They truly exceeded expectations and made our dreams come true- contributing to making our wedding day the best day of our lives !

We had a memorable wedding thanks to this company. So professional but friendly at the same time., with great attention to detail. Some things we forgot, thank god for Jodie she was good at coming up with the finer things! We got everything we asked for and more! The flowers where incredible and the colour scheme exactly what we wanted. I could not recommend more!

I attempted a wedding fair at the holiday inn and event Themes immediately caught my eye the table display looked beautiful and I knew I I wanted them to decorate our venue. Unfortunately our wedding got cancelled three times down to covid but jodie was amazing and kept in contact with me all the way through. On our wedding day the room looked incredible, the attention to detail was spotless and I couldn’t of been more happy it was perfect. Thank you so much jodie for making my wedding dreams come true 🥰

I have just had a weekend retreat at The School of Creative Wellness. The whole weekend was catered for by WOOW and it was beyond excellent. Our chosen menu was veggie and if I could eat veggie food like that every day I would convert immediately! Chef Pip is an alchemist of flavour and nutrition ♥️

If you're looking for a caterer, Pip is who you need! Her excitement when discussing our wedding was joyful. She came to look at our site and planned a menu all around our wishes for it to be local, mostly vegetarian, foraged, sustainable crockery etc. On the wedding day itself she battled Storm Anton and made windbreaks to cook a whopping warming paella, and all the dishes were DELICIOUS. Our guests raved about the flavours and also the generous quantities. One groomsman had 4 helpings I think..! We are SO grateful to you Pip for making our special day extra wonderful. Xx Jo & Siôn

It was so easy to put together a menu for our family lunch as Pip had so many tasty options as examples, she catered to our guests allergies no problem. It was all dropped off on time ready to serve and delicious with the hot food piping hot. the food was fantastic, all our guests loved it and we’ve been enjoying the leftovers afterwards.

We cannot thank Anouska from Raggy&Boo enough, every single element of our wedding was delivered to perfection in her capable hands. No job was too big or too small, she was ready and waiting for our entrance to the venue with a glass of champagne and a smile and was just the most wonderful, calm and competent energy. We really, truly, mean it when we say we couldn't have done it without her and we would recommend her to everyone.

We worked with Anouska at Raggy and Boo on two fantastic events during 2023. The first was a spectacular wedding for 250 guests and the second an equally impressive New Years Eve Party for the same numbers. We found both events to be well thought through, planned and delivered. The look and style complimented each event perfectly and the the management on the day was done in a calm and reassuring way. Had the pleasure of working for Raggy and Boo on new years eve. The evening was at a private residence and looked absolutely amazing, the staff, catering, and music were absolutely on point and I could not fault at all, everyone worked to create a amazing atmosphere for the clients and their guests. I've taken my stand to the two new Eastleigh Markets run by Dream Empire, and I've been very impressed by their organisation and communication in advance and on the day, and their pitch fees are very reasonable too! I'm looking forward to being at more of their events next year.

We went to the Eastleigh winter event today and I can honestly say that I was very impressed. I was expecting the usual array of 'junk' stands, overpriced and under quality, wow was I wrong! This event was what all events should strive for. A wide array of high quality, handmade items. There was a really broad selection of items and the prices were VERY impressive. The atmosphere was brilliant, everybody was very friendly and it really did exude Christmas. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would like to thank those responsible for making it such a wonderful day. This is what a Christmas event should be

We have had the pleasure to trade an event run by Dream Empire events and they were wonderful - great planning and communication, fair pricing and lovely people. Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

We have collaborated with Rosie on several events to date with our bell tent and luxury loo hire; she is a joy to work with and consistently creative. Stacey is a genuine, warm, helpful and wise person. She is very personable and grasps a good understanding of individuals, couples and their visions for their dream celebrations. We opted for on the day management and this was invaluable especially as we had a number of unforeseen challenges to contend with in the run up to and on the day (15.06.24) such as our wedding cake maker cancelling just one month before and entertainment arriving late on the day! Her team are proactive, resourceful and good fun.
