āA Saturday morning visit to one of our favourite bakeries. The sticky buns here are very good, high quality and lovingly made. We picked a cinnamon bun and a lemon and raspberry. Both excellent, tasty and not too sweet. The cappuccino was also very nice, super hot and of good strength. Overall, this place is always worth a visit, especially if you fancy picking up one of their specialty loaves on the way out too, sliced or unsliced, take your pick.ā

āThis is a modern cafe done right. In its popularity we had to wait for a seat to be available, but following the download of an app we could easily go away and shop and be notified when a table became available. At the end of our meal we were also able to use the QR code to view our tableās bill and select our own items to pay, saving us time and hassle. The food was equally as amazing, and the staff were lovely. Will absolutely be returning.ā

āI was on my way to the vet a couple of doors down when I first walked past this cantina. The smell of fresh, tasty food, when they'd not long been open, was so good that I decided to pop in after the vet, and I'm really glad I did š I had the pan-fried mackerel with Latin rice and salsa Verde, and it was excellent š I spoke to the chef, and she told me that everything is made on the premises, even the jam, that's made in small batches š I don't live in Petersfield, so now I'm going to have to find more reasons to go there!ā

āAbsolutely beautiful dinner this evening. Lovely blankets and hot water bottles to keep us warm. Large sun umbrella to keep us dry. Our 3 course meal was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious - beautifully complimented by wine. Lovely, friendly service and atmosphere. We really can't wait until the indoor Restaurant is permitted to open and are already planning our next visit. Huge thanks to Paul & Georgie for a lovely evening!ā

Eventually we chose to stay close by and visit this fabulous quaint and quirky little Italian CafĆ©. It was on our list of 'must visit' while in the area, so what better time to go. We arrived around 2pm and was pleased to find that we could get a table. Warm, cosy and welcoming, a lovely young man gave us a choice of tables. All members of staff were friendly, helpful and super efficient. The menu has a lovely selection of Italian dishes to choose from. My husband chose the focaccia toastie with baby-leaf salad, parmesan shavings and balsamic dressing. It was stuffed with Prosciutto, mozzarella, pistachio pesto, and rocket. I chose the balsamic mushrooms and canallini beans with rocket, burrata and a slice of toasted sourdough š both were absolutely delicious. The coffee and chai latte went down well too, especially our second cup which were accompanied by amaretto, pistachio and almond sweet treats. We would highly recommend visiting thus wonderful cafe should you find yourself in the area, we will definitely be returning on our next visit to West Sussex. Thank you La Folliaā

āI stumbled upon the Grazing Rooms on Instagram and being a big foodie, couldn't resist booking a table after seeing they had lobster on their specials! My husband, son and I headed down for an earlier (5pm) dinner which was perfect timing. The restaurant was quieter than a usual 7pm dining service (it got really busy as we were leaving), ideal for us to enjoy the food before our son got too tired. We were greeted by the most attentive, kind and professional staff who gave us a bit of history about the restaurant, the farm shop on site and how it's recently been refurbished. The restaurant itself is beautiful and you can see a lot of time and effort has been put in. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Executive Chef Sean, who recommended a few of his favourite dishes, but also gave us a good overview of the whole menu. I couldn't believe how much was being offered gluten and dairy free! Food-wise, we had the honey mustard pigs in blankets (fighting over who go the last one!!), followed by the best scotch egg I think Iāve ever eaten. A light crispy coating (GF), tender venison meat inside, wrapped around a perfectly cooked egg with oozing yolk. The stars of the show though, came as our main course. As part of their Valentines Special (but hopefully making a permanent addition to the menu soon!) we shared a medium rare chateaubriand, and a whole lobster, both cooked in a garlic butter and served on crispy fries. The steak was juicy and tender with every slice, and the lobster was melt-in-the-mouth delicious. Sean and his team know exactly what theyāre doing!! On the side we had tenderstem broccoli topped with sweet, crunchy almonds and a harissa mayo, plus a portion of Parmesan truffle fries. Iām not usually a fan of truffle but these were so well balanced we polished off the lot. Finally, and genuinely I have no idea how I managed it, I couldnāt help but order the chocolate brownie. It normally comes with chocolate sorbet but I switched out for vanilla ice cream. It had the gooiest middle with crispy, crunchy edges, unreal! AND GF too! Not that youād ever know! The perfect meal, within a beautiful setting, I canāt fault a thing. I urge you to make a reservation and try this place out for yourselves, you will not regret it! Weāve already got our next 2Ā bookingsĀ made and can't wait to try out their roast dinners!!ā
