Good old fashioned cafe where the prices are great and the food phenomenal. Greeted with a warm smile, and they make you feel at home. If you want a comfortable stop that will leave your wallet, happy this is it.

I was there for the first time today. We bought a house nearby and I decided to look around the area. I had a vegetarian breakfast which was amazing and very fresh. I didn't notice that you can only pay in cash, but the lady behind the counter said I could withdraw cash from a nearby ATM and pay later. I was surprised by the warmth and trust. There aren't many places like that anymore.

My wife went for the fried breakfast & I decided upon the eggs Benedict. Great, good value food, fantastic friendly service. Would certainly recommend this to anyone who happens to be in the area 👍🏼

Came for the pancake week specials, was not disappointed. I got a steak and egg 2 stack anf my partner got a buffalo chicken 1 stack. All delicious but she was the dinner winner. We shared the veggie tots which were lush as always.

Amazing breakfast at Josie’s in Winchester! The place is super popular, and we had to wait for a table, but it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was lively, the service was great, and the food was fantastic. I had the breakfast pancakes, and they were incredible! Everything about our visit was spot on—highly recommend if you’re in the area! 🥞☕

Took my nephew for for a lovely lunch treat and was not disappointed. Food was excellent, staff were fantastic! Definitely worth every penny. Cant wait to come back and try the waffles 🥰😋

After visiting Josie’s in Winchester town centre now on multiple occasions I can assure anyone who goes an outstanding brunch selection! The menu is fantastic, not only are there multiple options for breakfast/all day brunch but everything is very reasonably priced for the quality and portions provided. I’d highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a great local brunch spot, I’m not directly for the area but I happily travel for places like this. The location of this particular cafe js slightly out the way of the town centre, however you will find there is normally a 30-45 minute wait time for a table (Approx for 2 people) which does allow plenty of opportunity to enjoy a walk in Winchester town centre while you wait!

Really special coffee at this super friendly coffee lounge. Also, the food is top quality - I'm particularly partial to the bacon waffles - a very naughty treat! It's 5 stars from me ***** GREAT WALK AS WELL! - to compensate for the cakes there is a beautiful walk just up the road... turn left when leaving the lounge and keep going straight- you end up entering the beauty of the new forest!

Amazing pastries (particularly pistachio brioche, greek filo pastry and chocolate and pecan pie), lovely staff. Would definitely go again if in the area. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a local cafe with great coffee and food

It was a coincidence we dropped by and took a seat. I bookmarked it as my favourite cafe straight away! I just love the environment and how friendly the staff was. We had the best ever Egg Florentine and crunchy waffle with bacon. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone :)

Popped in after a walk around the new forest. Great coffee and hot chocolate, very friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Lovely food, I had onion and cider home made soup followed by carrot cake and coffee. My wife had a massive cheese scone then apple cake with cream and coffee. Well worth the money and I can highly recommend them. All home made.

These guys are fabulous. Richard takes special interest in all our framing and helps to make the right choice for every room. Don't go anywhere else in Hampshire!

Was very lovely! The person who served us was great and very helpful, making sure we were comfortable, and taking our order in a timely manner. We had brownies and cream teas, and they were lovely, both were warm and seemed freshly made. Very enjoyable visit! We tipped 15%

An absolute DARLING of an independent! A delightful tea room/patio garden with a yummy menu, plenty of seating, and service with a friendlier-than-friendly smile and banter. Topped off with some really gorgeous gifts for a that special someone (even if that is yourself). Only grumble is the size of the carrot cake -a sparrow's portion but perhaps this is their bid to curb the obesity issue the UK!

Super cozy atmosphere and friendly staff was good enough for 5 star but the coffee and pastry we had was delightful too. Highly recommended.

I had popped by here in passing and thought it was a sweet little coffee shop. I enjoyed their drinks they had an interesting depth of flavour. However this gem really shinned when I stopped by for brunch, I ordered the Turkish eggs that came with a twist of local honey. This dish was amazing, it had different hits of favourite in each mouthful and was both creamy and rich. I would 100% come back and eat here again. Hats off to your fabulous chef for doing such amazing work especially in such a small space! They have a good range of options for Vegetarian/Vegan.

Hidden treasure of Winchester! Outstandingly good Cacao and coffee. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Grabbed a sandwich on a whim and it was fantastic. Really lovely change from the boring bits you get in chain shops!

I had the most amazing experience here this morning, I don’t think I’ve found another place like it in Winchester. The food is beautifully presented and full of flavours, the drinks are unique with the cacaos and mushroom blends (not to mention delicious) lastly the service is on point! Its warm, relaxed atmosphere made me want to stay all day. It’s got an alternative feel to the place with all the tropical plants and vibe. A fantastic little spot that myself and a friend stumbled across when meeting halfway on a weekend. Food and service were brilliant. Staff went above and beyond when I forget my hat and gloves there and they posted them back to me in London!!!

I am glad I turned down breakfast at the hotel in Solstice Pk, stopped here on the way home, and they didn't disappoint. Fresh perfectly cooked breakfast, and a nice coffee. I will definitely visit again when passing by.

Friendly staff, my wife and I had a full English Breakfast after a very nice cup of cappuccino. Great views of the countryside and football field.

Such a lovely spot for parents and young kiddies. Their soft play is so reasonably priced and ideal for kids to play while adults enjoy a coffee. The staff are super friendly and their sweet treats and savoury bakes are delicious too! Love meeting friends here with my little one.

We take our 2 y/o granddaughter to the play cafe at Arlebury Cafe once a week. A safe and well run play cafe with a great selection of play equipment. Booking ahead online means that there is no overcrowding and I've seen people be politely turned away if they've arrived with a child without a booking. Good selection of food for the children and the adults. Great staff. Parents and grandparents are all friendly and personable. There's a lift for the prams. Parking free for 2 hours, just press green on the machine.

This place is great! Very welcoming and comfortable. The little shop is a nice touch too. The drinks and food are very reasonable and extremely tasty too. And the staff are better!!

I visited with a group of friends. The Silk Mill is a lovely historic building in a beautiful setting. A very wellcoming person called Charlotte told us lots about the mill, the silk, and the weaving process.What an asset she is! We so enjoyed our visit because of how utterly charming and well informed she is. All the staff we met were very friendly,and the café is great.

Beautiful old building in a pretty setting. Interesting and passionate staff & volunteers to talk you through it. The mill is run by a charity but still takes on special commissions, e.g. for film costumes or royalty. Very reasonable admission price @ £10 or £9 concession. Excellent cafe for lunch.

I organised a trip here with a small group of care home residents. You are able to park outside the front door in a disabled space if needed. We met two lovely ladies who showed us how the machines work and lots of interesting facts. The residents were very impressed. There is a lift to use if needed. We didn't have time to stop for tea and cake too, but the cakes did look delicious. Next time!

Amazing place, volunteer run, very informative and picturesque, I think it would be even more amazing in the summer. Dtaff are very knowledgable and take time to explain things, and the exhibits are well cared for. Highly recommend a visit.

I recently booked this venue for my partner’s 30th birthday, and it was amazing! This is one of our favourite spots to enjoy coffee together, so it felt like the perfect place to celebrate the occasion. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely incredible. Frankie and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly. We had an outside caterer for the food, but the staff took charge of organising and presenting it perfectly, making sure everything was on time, and making sure all of our guests, including those with allergies, were well taken care of. The atmosphere was fantastic- full of energy, warm, welcoming and it didn’t feel rushed or stressful. I kept checking in throughout the evening, but Frankie was absolutely wonderful in reassuring me that everything was under control and telling me that I should enjoy the celebration without a worry, which is what I did. Our guests had a wonderful time, and I’ve received nothing but positive feedback about the venue, the staff and the overall experience. I would highly recommend this place for any event - you won’t be disappointed. A huge thank you to Frankie and the team for making my partner’s birthday so special!

We booked the Yard for a private party on Saturday evening. The location is fantastic, the staff were efficient, attentive, and friendly, and we had a great evening. Thoroughly recommend it!

Lovely Coffee Shop one of the guys in our cycle club guided us to, after seeing good things about, so we gave it a go........it's in a very remote location but has lovely decor and a very bijoux feel about it. Staff were very upbeat and were serving quickly and efficiently. There is a large selection of coffee, cake and hot food on offer with the coffee beans baked on site called Moon Coffee which is also sold here. The "yard" area is very spacious with lovely seating around as well as outdoor heaters for the colder mornings or evenings. They are doggie friendly as saw a few on our visit and welcomed cyclists to with two very large bike racks to use.........will definitely visit again if we are out this way again!!
