“I visited yesterday with Reggie my Cocker Spaniel because he has been head shaking and scratching for too long. We were seen by Jamie (I asked to see him when I made my appointment ) he explained exactly what he thought was bothering Reggie and put him on steroids which we hope will work and make Reggie more comfortable. Jamie takes time to talk with me and I am very impressed with the treatment.”

Such a brilliant vets. I’ve moved here from another reputable vets in Basingstoke, and the service is like night and day! Absolutely everyone makes such a fuss, my new puppy loves going to the vets. New to the area and was looking for a vet. I chose Hampshire Vet because they are not part of a group, they have their own 24 hour care which is most important as they will know your pet. My 15 year old dog was diagnosed with a mass on his spleen and had to have the spleen removed. I cannot thank the staff enough for their excellent care prior, during and after the operation. Hopefully I will have him for a few more years. I thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice.

“Very pleased with our first visit to our new vets with kittens Tiffin and Georgie. Everyone was really lovely and the area super clean and welcoming. Of course brining kittens is always more fun than bringing a sick / injured animal. Highly recommend. Georgie below seemed a little miffed with the prodding, but was happy with his visit. The vetinary team are exceptional. The receptionists are friendly and genuinely care about animals. The vetinarian is so thorough, gentle and made it an experience for us too! He is very knowledgeable and has a good sense of humour. I know my kitten is well looked after under their care. My kitten Scamp was actually purring, looking out of the window making friends. This is because she was calm due to the vets approach and from being in a calming environment. I've always left the practice feeling uplifted and with a sound mind knowing that my kitten has been properly looked after. Highly recommend. Thank you :)

“Many visits with my senior girl, all were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, yesterday my girl crossed over the rainbow bridge. We were provided with such understanding and patience. Her passing was peaceful and I felt as though the vet (can’t remember her name) did an incredible job at allowing us time to say goodbye properly. Afterward, there wasn’t a rush to pay or sort out details. Which gave me so much relief as through my tears it would’ve been difficult! Thank you to all the staff for making this horrible time more bearable.”

I transferred to this vet around 4 or 5 years ago during a very stressful time with my cat (he was very sick) after I wasn't fully satisfied with the care at my previous vets. Honestly, it was one of the hardest years of my life, and they truly did all they could to help and support both my darling Finnian and myself. Sadly, I did lose him to an unknown illness, but I will always owe that extra year I got with him to this amazing group of people. He had to be put down in the early hours of the morning during lockdown and saying goodbye to him in the car park knowing how scared he must have been was the absolute worst thing but I know he was so loved and cared for by the team until the very end. I can not thank the everyone at Donnigton and Eastcot vets enough. I will continually proudly take all my pets to them, knowing they will always get the best care. You should all be very proud of what you are achieving, simply outstanding.
