If you're a cat only owner and your puss requires stress free services of a vet, then PLEASE sign up and make him or her a future patient at The Cat Clinic in Albert Road Southsea. You and your cat will not regret it. There are no dogs taken in here for the cat to concern themselves about, and the welcome is just lovely by Helen the receptionist to put you and your patient at your ease. She also fully explained the simple and inexpensive financial benefits I could utilise for our pet's good health and treatment for the long term that excellent and may be paid in monthly instalments to give us all peace of mind should urgent treatment etc; be required. I cannot recommend this lovely veterinarian establishment enough. Just try it!

I’ve always been happy with the cat clinic, but especially appreciative of the care my cat Gaston has received over the past couple of weeks. Hanna has been so kind to both Gaston & myself. All staff genuinely love cats, which really shows.

I would only ever take my babies to see Cameron at the cat clinic. From regular check ups to me probably being overly worried when they seem unwell-cameron is always so lovely and never makes us feel we are wasting his time. He has a very Conservative approach and never prescribes anything or sends for testing unless necessary. Unfortunately alot of vets are only interested in money. I never feel this is the case here. The ladies on reception are also incredible with their care, when one of my angels seemed very unwell last year Helen even called Cameron at home for some advice and sent us to the emergency vets, vets now in Portsmouth who were also very good. We've had numerous calls back and forth in the past. I get the impression everyone there loves their kitty customers and it's more than just a job to them. Cameron has a wealth of knowledge and he best never leave!! My two have had their injections, some medicines administered, and teeth cleaning. One had some minor surgery. They have been under anaesthetic and was taken care of by the lovely nurses, who I'm sure do alot behind the scenes! The costs at the cat clinic I would say are very fair. We do have insurance but have never needed to claim. If you have a cat rest assured they will be taken care of here! Sian&James

I've been with Gregg and his team for a while now, I have never found a vet that care as much as they do and give such a personalised service. When our old boy passed away last year they truly looked after us during a time of immense grief. I couldn't recommend them more!

I really recommend this vets! They showed such care when my cat was unwell recently. The vet Samson was fantastic, really knowledgable & explained everything carefully, he also phoned me at home to see how things were going & got me to send pictures so he could check things, he just seemed to genuinely care. The women on the front desk were also brilliant, they were really caring & friendly & they helped me with my insurance & financial worries as I’d never had to use it before, but they made it all straight forward & we’re really understanding. I just want to say a big thank you!

We just want to say thank you to everyone at this practice for everything you’ve done for Rich over the years. You’ve always been there for him, from his younger days right through to the end. Your care, patience, and kindness meant a lot to us. Even if deep down we knew the answer, we’ll always be grateful to Justyn for guiding us to make the right decision when the time came. Brilliant staff, incredibly helpful and managed to get us seen very quickly because of a cancellation. This new establishment is incredibly modern, air conditioned, and has plenty of parking. We’ve been here several times now and have zero complaints. The only issue is getting our puppy to leave as he loves the staff 😅 Please Note: Don’t follow the Google Maps direction. The vets is in Zone 2 of the ‘The Pompey Centre’, not Zone 1.

I had my beautiful jack put to sleep there all the staff are so caring towards me and my dog I was in bits and they kept reassuring me that they will take care of him and he is safe they went above and beyond. THANK YOU.

Where do I start….. My bunny very suddenly become sick and being new to the area, I hadn’t had the chance to get them registered anywhere. I gave them a call as soon as I noticed to ask for some advice and was told to bring her in straight away whilst they were able to register me over the phone. Got there about an hour later and was seen straight away. The vet(didn’t catch his name) noticed straight away that something wasn’t right and swiftly took her for oxygen and assessment. Unfortunately, the team were unable to provide a diagnosis as it seemed whatever was wrong was pretty complex but I was provided with multiple options on how I wished to go on. Sadly, my conkers was getting poorer by the minute on the table and we all agreed in her best interests, it was time for her to go to bunny heaven. My review may seem like a bit of a story but I just wanted to explain on how such a distressing situation for us, the team treated us and my bunny with such care and compassion compared to other vets i’ve experienced in the past. We weren’t treated like money paying customers but more of a member of their family which was a huge relief to us as this was our first pet we have had to go through this with and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support. If you are doing your research or looking for a new vet then you need to come here! ❤️

My 2 cockapoos needed to be boarded very soon due to immedoate emergency essential repairs needed to bathroom & kitchen. Stubbington Ark needed all up to date health records soonest! Bruno's were fine, but Buddy's weren't & needed immediate attending to, otherwise he couldn't go. We would be stuck. Including I am really suffering from a Bulging (slipped) disk, which means I am not mobile. But thanks to swift action by Sara, who responded to this big ask, & accommodatingly arranged last minute urgent appointment for current checks & vaccinations, & then efficient transmission of information via email to Stubbington Ark, both our dogs are good to go!! Sara clearly understood the predicament I was in, & showed real empathy in dealing with this in the manner that she did. Fortunately a family member could transport the dogs to & from the vet at the last minute! And, also a big thank you to the vet who saw our 2 boys at such short notice & enabled us to all to get the situation sorted in time for all concerned! I have used Companion Vets since 2022 when we had Buddy our first puppy, then was joined by Bruno in 2023. We have absolutely no cause for complaint. All staff have been wonderful, personally & professionally, throughout.

We had a very good experience without recent visits at Companion Care. At the reception Emily was very helpful even while booking the appointment. Vet Vera T was very considerate n caring towards my pet and spent enough time to update us with my dog’s need. Well experienced Vet. Thank you for the great service. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing. Receptionists at northend and southsea are kind caring polite professional and just blomin lovely. Our dog had an emergency 2 night and day stay. On a drip,hand fed every 2hrs. 24hr aroundcthe click full on care. We were called and updated regularly. The level of care for pets and owner is priceless and comforting to say the least. Huge thanks from us all especially Flavia,Beth and Matt. We couldn't want for a better TEAM for our little girl xxx

I found a dead fox on the road outside my house. I took it to Harbour vets in North End on Saturday afternoon 07 09 2024, not knowing what to do with it. A very helpful lady took the fox and said they could 'look after' it. Very grateful as i had no idea what to do.

I recently visited an out-of-hours vet clinic and was incredibly impressed by the experience, especially with the care and compassion provided by the vet on duty. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel supported and reassured, even though it was late and I was anxious about my dog’s condition. She greeted us with a warm demeanor, instantly putting both me and my dog at ease. The vet’s knowledge and professionalism were evident from the start. She took the time to thoroughly examine my dog, explaining every step of the process in a way that was easy to understand. No question was too small or too silly—she answered each one patiently and clearly. She also went over the treatment options in detail, making sure I understood what was going on and what the next steps would be. I left feeling well-informed and reassured that my dog was in good hands. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about my dog’s well-being, which meant the world to me. Her kindness, coupled with her expertise, made an anxious experience much more bearable. I would highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone in need of compassionate, knowledgeable care, especially during those worrying out-of-hours moments.

Vets Now had our dog overnight for two nights due to diabetic ketoacidosis and they gave a completely compassionate and professional service. The vet, Mark M, was world class and left us completely reassured our pet was in the best hands she could be. We cannot thank Mark and the staff at Vets Now enough for the care they provided and the warmth of service at all times.
