I took my neighbour's cat in last night just as the vets were closing. I knew she looked very unwell and was very old. We didn't have an appointment, I just called in a panic and they said to come straight there. They were so so kind to us. They stayed open late and did all they could for her. They were so good at updating me and calling her owner on the phone. Then they waited for me to get my daughter from work to say goodbye. They gave us tissues and cried with us. They were so kind to Angel the cat and all her humans. They worked out what was wrong and kindly explained to us all, over and over again, that we couldn't have done anything else and it was time to make her comfortable and let her go. Their kindness and empathy of all the staff, the vets and the receptionists really helped us at a very sad time and ensured that Angel's final moments were calm and stable with people who cared for her and we are very grateful to them all

We cannot fault Hook Veterinary Surgery, all the staff are so helpful and friendly. We have pet plan and pet plan+ for our fur babies. Pet plan+ really does give you extra peace of mind knowing that you can go for a consultation and not have to pay anything for that. You also get a good discount on treatments and products with pet plan. We have had our first dog spayed and also teeth cleaned there, they give such amazing care. Our new rescue dog is booked in for teeth cleaning next week and then a spay in March, we know she will be really cared for. Highly recommended.

I have the pleasure of being a client at Coach House Vets (Burlyns) – twice! After sadly having to leave them 15 years ago due to a house move, I am now happily back with them since September last year. In the intervening 14 years I am over the moon that the atmosphere of this independent practice has not changed. The friendliness and approachability of every member of staff is second to none – truly. The working atmosphere is much like a team of good friends, of which you become a member the moment you walk in. Consultations are relaxed yet highly professional; I appreciate the way in which I, the guardian of our beloved dog(s), am involved in their care plan and feel guided by the knowledge and experience of the veterinary team. I had the heartbreaking experience of having to put Treacle, my flat-coat retriever, to sleep suddenly and unexpectedly a few months ago. My husband, Treacle and I were treated with the utmost sensitivity and care in the most distressing of situations. Our wishes were accommodated without question, we were given as much time as we needed to be with Treacle and our final farewell was treated with dignity yet without sentimentalism. In short, they knew how to best treat Treacle (medically) and her guardians (emotionally). We are expecting a canine addition to our family in the Spring and I am so pleased that my next charge will be under the medical care of this warm, friendly and professional team. A huge ‘thank you’ to all in the team at Burlyns.

An elaborate venue for large events with endless potential. Last time I saw it geared up for a festival with overnight stay in tents. Also large tents for drinks, dance floor, photobooth, food etc.

Absolutely brilliant vets and staff. They did everything they could to save our dog, sadly it wasn't to be. They were really supportive to us throughout the entire terrible time. Cant praise them enough.

My dog was feeling a bit under the weather, so I had to take him for a checkup. The staff at DG Thatcham were lovely, especially the vet who checked him over. We came out from the appointment feeling reassured and with some medication that was cheaper than expected. Thank you!

We have been going to Fernhill Vets for a few years now and we can say without a doubt it is the most caring vet practice we have visited with our dog Harrie(t) who sadly we had to say goodbye. The vet Roanne and staff have always been understanding, empathetic and reassuring. On Harrie’s sunset day she and us were look after with care and dignity in what must be the hardest decision for any pet owner and vet. We will miss Harrie dearly but we shall hold onto all those good times and unconditional love she gave us for her 14 years. Although it feels at the moment so awful - it was not the wrong decision and we thank Fernhill Vets for helping us come to the right decision for Harrie. After 14 years a whole new pattern to life. Early days, so loved and missed Harrie. Thank you.

Where do I start with this amazing practise. On the first day of our holiday one of our dogs injured his foot, we phoned around the different vets and from first call with Fernhill, we felt instantly like we were in the best hands. They did everything in their power to help us and our dog to get better and were very very fair on price also. We can not thank them enough for their dedication and care. Would recommend to everyone 100%.

Having not long moved to the area, today was my first visit to the practice and I must say it was the best veterinary clinic visit I've ever experienced, in all the years I've owned my dog. I felt listened to and my concerns addressed, with an appropriate course of action, with follow-up steps provided if necessary. Outstanding service! A beautiful practice, with lovely staff and a very calm feel. Thank you for having us!

On referral to here we were greated and dealt with ASAP. Our cat had eye injury with something in his eye. The staff were amazing, considerate and gave us time alone to discuss with each other the way forwards with his eye. James operated on Jaz and saved his eye,extremely clever person and had explained the operation so well to us, plus the after care. He has now been seen for after checking and is leading the life of a cat again much to his joy and ours. Thank you all at Southern Counties Veterinary.

Unfortunately my poor spaniel has spent too much time at Southern Counties, thankfully they are such a caring, professional & specialist vet that each time Lola visits we know she is in such safe hands, we are constantly kept up to date with Lola's condition and welfare which helps ease the worry. Cannot recommend Southern County Vets enough!!

Simply put, I don’t think our English Cocker Spaniel would be here without the skill of all the staff and especially Theofanis Liatus at Southern Counties. After operating on Charlie to repair a slipped disc in the neck, we have a very happy dog with a new lease of life. Playful and importantly pain free after a horrendous episode. Theo’s skill navigated tremendous risk associated with the actual procedure on an 11 year old dog, but it had got to the point we had to give it a go. Theo came through for us and his words “He’s breathing on his own” sum up the momentous achievement Theo delivered and the fight for life left in Charlie. Forever grateful to Theo and Southern Counties. Picture of Charlie as he should be, relaxed, and recovering well!

Every one made you feel welcome and are so loving and caring to our little Willow. I have never seen her be so happy going to a vets she could not wait to get in there and get spoilt like she did. Highly recommend such a friendly team 🥰 always take good care of my dogs and everything is explained about any procedures or anything you need x my dogs where never a fan of going to the vets and we could never wait in waiting room with them now that has changed they love going to the vets and get to wait in the waiting room it makes a big difference when your dog trust in them too 🥰 I would not take my pets anywhere else they are the best xx

Archie joined The Berkshire Vet shortly after adoption and he is very pleased indeed with the care and attention he receives therein. Today he had a minor operation, before and after which we were kept fully informed of his condition and progress. Our previous two dogs were cared for by another local vet, but it was gobbled up by a management group; we are just so pleased we have a fully independent veterinary service on the doorstep … and such a friendly and professional one as well.

I have taken our kitten twice to The Berkshire Vet and I have nothing but praise for the Practice. Everybody from the receptionists to the nurses to the Vets themselves have all been absolutely amazing, not only polite and helpful to me but so caring and friendly to our kitten Betty. The building is immaculate inside and out and has been beautifully laid out with great thought given to the comfort of Pets and their owners. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending people to take their pets here,

I cannot recommend Berkshire Vets enough. Parking easy & spacious on the doorstep. Wonderful atmosphere & friendly staff all round. Excellent clean roomy premises. Lovely kind caring vets. My dogs have a waggy tail leading the way in. My whippet was so relaxed & happy even after her procedure. Lovely Lovely place all round with dogs in safe hands.

Very pleased with our first visit to our new vets with kittens Tiffin and Georgie. Everyone was really lovely and the area super clean and welcoming. Of course brining kittens is always more fun than bringing a sick / injured animal. Highly recommend. Georgie below seemed a little miffed with the prodding, but was happy with his visit. Forgot to take a photo of Tiffin whilst she was there.

Lovely veterinary practice. Really friendly helpful staff. Vet was very calm with my big boisterous cat Jerry. Clean bright practice with a very useful shop selling all sorts of pet food and basically anything you might need for your animal. Highly recommend.

Amazing vets, brought my extremely nervous cat in to get her spayed and they were absolutely brilliant, completely understanding to the fact she was nervous and worked around her to make sure she was well looked after and kept calm. Definitely would recommend

The vetinary team are exceptional. The receptionists are friendly and genuinely care about animals. The vetinarian is so thorough, gentle and made it an experience for us too! He is very knowledgeable and has a good sense of humour. I know my kitten is well looked after under their care. My kitten Scamp was actually purring, looking out of the window making friends. This is because she was calm due to the vets approach and from being in a calming environment. I've always left the practice feeling uplifted and with a sound mind knowing that my kitten has been properly looked after. Highly recommend. Thank you :)

New to the area and was looking for a vet. I chose Hampshire Vet because they are not part of a group, they have their own 24 hour care which is most important as they will know your pet. My 15 year old dog was diagnosed with a mass on his spleen and had to have the spleen removed. I cannot thank the staff enough for their excellent care prior, during and after the operation. Hopefully I will have him for a few more years. I thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice.

A wonderfully warm and welcoming vets. I moved here from another reputable vets and the service is second to none. Highly recommend to anyone with a special animal in their life, you know they care.

I visited yesterday with Reggie my Cocker Spaniel because he has been head shaking and scratching for too long. We were seen by Jamie (I asked to see him when I made my appointment ) he explained exactly what he thought was bothering Reggie and put him on steroids which we hope will work and make Reggie more comfortable. Jamie takes time to talk with me and I am very impressed with the treatment.

Had to use them in an emergency for my cat. Brilliant work by the team. Tried their best to save him. So caring and compassionate.

Took my Kitten to the Vet for his vaccinations and his checkup and the staff was very helpful and insightful. Happily answering my questions no matter how stupid the questions were. Left with a very happy kitten
