Archie joined The Berkshire Vet shortly after adoption and he is very pleased indeed with the care and attention he receives therein. Today he had a minor operation, before and after which we were kept fully informed of his condition and progress. Our previous two dogs were cared for by another local vet, but it was gobbled up by a management group; we are just so pleased we have a fully independent veterinary service on the doorstep … and such a friendly and professional one as well.

I have taken our kitten twice to The Berkshire Vet and I have nothing but praise for the Practice. Everybody from the receptionists to the nurses to the Vets themselves have all been absolutely amazing, not only polite and helpful to me but so caring and friendly to our kitten Betty. The building is immaculate inside and out and has been beautifully laid out with great thought given to the comfort of Pets and their owners. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending people to take their pets here,

I cannot recommend Berkshire Vets enough. Parking easy & spacious on the doorstep. Wonderful atmosphere & friendly staff all round. Excellent clean roomy premises. Lovely kind caring vets. My dogs have a waggy tail leading the way in. My whippet was so relaxed & happy even after her procedure. Lovely Lovely place all round with dogs in safe hands.

Highly recommend such a friendly team 🥰 always take good care of my dogs and everything is explained about any procedures or anything you need x my dogs where never a fan of going to the vets and we could never wait in waiting room with them now that has changed they love going to the vets and get to wait in the waiting room it makes a big difference when your dog trust in them too 🥰 I would not take my pets anywhere else they are the best xx

Took my Kitten to the Vet for his vaccinations and his checkup and the staff was very helpful and insightful. Happily answering my questions no matter how stupid the questions were. Left with a very happy kitten

Had to use them in an emergency for my cat. Brilliant work by the team. Tried their best to save him. So caring and compassionate.

They took amazing care of my little dog, had a specialist consult with Ana and she had him in surgery that afternoon, he was incredibly well looked after in the days following the surgery and they have been happy to answer any emails or questions I’ve had since, he’s recovering remarkably well, extremely talented vets and great customer service. For our little fury family it’s worth the cost to be seen by true specialists

Simply put, I don’t think our English Cocker Spaniel would be here without the skill of all the staff and especially Theofanis Liatus at Southern Counties. After operating on Charlie to repair a slipped disc in the neck, we have a very happy dog with a new lease of life. Playful and importantly pain free after a horrendous episode. Theo’s skill navigated tremendous risk associated with the actual procedure on an 11 year old dog, but it had got to the point we had to give it a go. Theo came through for us and his words “He’s breathing on his own” sum up the momentous achievement Theo delivered and the fight for life left in Charlie. Every one made you feel welcome and are so loving and caring to our little Willow. I have never seen her be so happy going to a vets she could not wait to get in there and get spoilt like she did. Unfortunately my poor spaniel has spent too much time at Southern Counties, thankfully they are such a caring, professional & specialist vet that each time Lola visits we know she is in such safe hands, we are constantly kept up to date with Lola's condition and welfare which helps ease the worry. Cannot recommend Southern County Vets enough!!

We cannot fault Hook Veterinary Surgery, all the staff are so helpful and friendly. We have pet plan and pet plan+ for our fur babies. Pet plan+ really does give you extra peace of mind knowing that you can go for a consultation and not have to pay anything for that. You also get a good discount on treatments and products with pet plan. We have had our first dog spayed and also teeth cleaned there, they give such amazing care. Our new rescue dog is booked in for teeth cleaning next week and then a spay in March, we know she will be really cared for. Highly recommended.

I took my neighbour's cat in last night just as the vets were closing. I knew she looked very unwell and was very old. We didn't have an appointment, I just called in a panic and they said to come straight there. They were so so kind to us. They stayed open late and did all they could for her. They were so good at updating me and calling her owner on the phone. Then they waited for me to get my daughter from work to say goodbye. They gave us tissues and cried with us. They were so kind to Angel the cat and all her humans. They worked out what was wrong and kindly explained to us all, over and over again, that we couldn't have done anything else and it was time to make her comfortable and let her go. Their kindness and empathy of all the staff, the vets and the receptionists really helped us at a very sad time and ensured that Angel's final moments were calm and stable with people who cared for her and we are very grateful to them all

My beautiful cat passed away recently and Medivet staff were so thoughtful and caring. I got to spend time with her and say goodbye to my baby and could spend as long as i wanted. A few days later I received lovely gifts from them, which was again so so thoughtful at this difficult time.

All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We feel our animals are always well looked after and given the right care, treatment and advice.

Our pets are incredibly important to our family. So you can imagine how worried we were when one of our cats had a recoccurance of a bladder problem. The vet explained our options clearly and with care. Surgery was required. It is clear to us that animal care isn't just a job for the staff at this branch of Medivet. They really do care about the best outcome for your pet. The team communicate clearly and don't make you feel silly for asking a billion questions. Reasonably priced services and plentiful parking available close by. I recommend this vet and the team.

I cannot get over how wonderful these guys treat my furbabies. We have called with questions regarding them at all hours and it's never too much trouble to answer and advice us. Our pets love them they feel comfortable here unlike previous vets where they have been so scared they soiled themselves. Here they explore and get affection from staff. I highly recommend this vets

I love Kingsclere Veterinary Surgery (which feels much more spa than surgery) but more importantly, so does my 14 year old cat! The reception team are calm and welcoming both on the phone and in-person and the vets highly knowledgeable, experienced and kind. I've really appreciated the amount of time devoted to each consultation and the truly bespoke service offered. Such an improvement on previous clinical experiences we've had that made me dread taking her. Huge thanks.

This is the most lovely, caring veterinary practice that I have ever been to. Laura and her wonderful team looked after my pug Reggie when he visited for a dental appointment this week. During every step of the day that Reggie spent with Laura I received photos and updates reassuring me that all was okay. The level of care and professionalism was second to none. The practice has a lovely calm vibe and is very unlike any other I have been to, both pets and owners are put at ease. I cannot recommend Laura and her team enough, they couldn’t have done any better.

My dog simply loves his visits to Kingsclere Veterinary Surgery, where the staff make him feel welcome, happy and relaxed. And I’m equally happy with the care they give, the time they take to explain everything, and the quality of treatment. So far he has only needed routine checkups and vaccinations, but I feel confident that, if anything more serious arises, he will get the best possible care. Pippin was delighted today when I told him we were going to the vet, and very happy and excited when we arrived, as always! Thank you for his vaccinations, which he didn’t notice because he was too busy licking up the liver paste he had come for.

The vet Dimitrios was friendly and professional, listening to our concerns and quickly diagnosing and treating our cat for a breathing problem. On the follow-up appointment he explained very clearly the next steps, should the condition recur. He was very gentle when handling our cat and fed him some Dreamies at the end of each consultation! After the second consultation the reception staff dealt very efficiently with both taking payment and, on the same day, emailing an invoice to allow me to reclaim the cost through my insurer.

My 15 month old Great Swiss Mountain Dog female needed spaying, and as we usually visit another Kynoch Vets location, we were referred for a laparoscopic spaying plus an additional procedure called a Gastropexy, which eliminates the possibility of a stomach twisting, a condition that all large deep chested dogs can develop and that my pup had already developed, and that condition is known more commonly as "Bloat". This was my first visit to the Yateley office, which is the Kynoch location that handles surgical procedures as a main function. It is a beautiful location, but has a poorly designed car park due to the nature of the location. Often cars will park back to back, and if you were there first, you have to find the person that parked behind you and ask them to move their car to allow you to drive away. Luckily there is a park across the street that usually has a few places free to park. Our surgeon Jonathan could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable, answering all of my questions which were many. A Gastropexy, the way that Kynoch performs it, is more complicated than the standard method of stitching the stomach to the abdominal wall. Jonathan's method was far superior and should provide complete protection from stomach torsion (twisting), which as I mentioned earlier my 15 month old puppy was at a high risk of developing. The procedure, though it sounds complicated, was an outpatient procedure. As it was done on a Friday afternoon, Jonathan gave us his contact details in case their were any problems over the weekend. She was sent home with a full-body tshirt instead of a "Cone of Shame" and it proved to be both soundly designed and quite a conversation topic! Luckily there were no problems and two weeks later my puppy continues to heal and improve. I am exceedingly pleased with the quality of service and the staff friendliness, but I will say that you pay for this as Kynoch Vets are not the cheapest. Overall I would not hesitate to use them again.

I had to have my beautiful Jazz put to sleep in July last year, Dimitrios and the team were lovely. This week I took my little puppy Zushi for her puppy check, she wasn't fazed at all, Dimitrios was very gentle with her.

I had to visit Oak Barn vets after an incident with a dog I was looking after. They are excellent, helpful, caring and very reassuring. The environment is welcoming and not clinical. I highly recommend.

I’ve been bringing my dog to Oakbarn Vets for the past 3 years, and the care has always been exceptional. Dr. Emily and the entire nursing team have been consistently responsive and attentive, providing excellent care and support. They’ve been particularly amazing during emergencies, offering immediate appointments and making sure my dog received the best attention. Oak barn has been our Vets for the past few years and I can’t say enough good things about them. The staff are so warm and welcoming, you can fully trust them. We had a scare with one of our Pugs a few weeks ago and every member of the team who helped was incredible, they dealt with everything with urgency and provided the absolute best care. You don’t feel like you are walking into a scary clinical atmosphere, it’s a lovely building with access to grass and lots of parking, and our pugs love going there. I’ll always continue to recommend them 🤍🐾🤍 the picture is with their favourite vet right after they had some chicken and can’t contain their excitement 🥰

Took our German Shepard there. Very good very calm with him. Put a muzzle on him like it was nothing and he had absolutely no issues with it. Can’t praise Emily the vet high enough. Really good service

I called the practice at 9 am on Monday morning to register as a client and book my cat in for an appointment. We were in with the vet just over an hour later. All the staff were friendly and the vet Alison was excellent. Very happy cat and owner. I would recommend the practice.

I changed my furry baby's vet because Brunswick Place Veterinary Clinic was recommended to me. The best vet clinic in Basingstoke. And yes!!!! It is true, they are very professional and know how to take good care of your pet, the attention that this clinic gives is spectacular, they are very kind and lovely with the animals. Now I know that my dog Happy is in the best hands of the best professionals. A clinic of the highest standard. I recommend it 100%.

Brunswick Place have done so much for our puppy, at a time when we had little options in Basingstoke. Though they were the only practice to accept our registration they have been exceptional in the care of our dog. From illness, jabs and minor surgery they have been courteous, professional, skilled and most of all patient. Our dog is not fond of visiting the vet and is not shy to show it, but they’ve handled her well and I’m so grateful for all the work they’ve done from receptionist, to nurses and vets themselves. I would recommend them to anyone.

Had the best experience after my very old dog became poorly. I was seen quickly and all staff were extremely polite. Everything was well explained and I was given time to think about decisions. Unfortunately she did not get better despite excellent care and attention from the vet Julia. The staff fit me into the last visit of the day to give me some time and she was put to sleep with lots of care and attention. I cannot thank the staff enough for being so kind.
