We've been with Whiteley Village vets since our dog was a puppy. He's now 8, he's had a few problems as he's getting older, some serious and worrying but everytime he's poorly and either had to been seen by a vet or had to be kept in we are always reassured he's in good hands. If he stays in we get thorough updates as to how he's getting on or anything that's changed throughout the day. The team at Whiteley Village vet's (receptionists,vets etc) are very caring. Yogi is our whole world and we are so thankful he's home and shown a big improvement since a couple of days ago. Thank you Whiteley vets.

We had to have our beautiful boy put to sleep and as awful and heartbreaking as it was the whiteley vets were wonderful, They even offered Vinnie a Cadbury roses chocolate beforehand as his last special treat. We can never thank the whole team at whiteley enough for taking care of vin and us as a family. we were offered drinks and being checked on whilst everything was being prepared..such lovely,caring people I’m so glad that I chose them to send our big boy off to the stars ✨ Thank you so so much for making this terrible situation much easier for us The Clark family ❤️

Having tried two other local vets we wish we had signed our cats up here sooner. We took our very poorly cat here, they listened, explained everything clearly to us and offered advice. We felt supported and every member of staff we spoke to was incredibly kind, caring and so helpful. Our cat is now at peace but we are incredibly grateful for the kindness and sensitivity shown by all at Whiteley Vets.

Whiteley vets have been amazing, very happy with their service and care towards my cat. Extremely reasonable costs and also worked with us to try and keep treatment within our budget, without compromising on the quality. Can't thank them enough.

I always worry when I take a pet to the Vets. First because my pet is ill, the second is because a lot of vets try and charge you for things they don't need. This is never a problem at the vets. The service is amazing, friendly, kind and understanding. They don't overcharge and will always make sure the animals wellbeing goes before profit. If you are looking for a vets to care for your animal as much as you do, then I highly recommend Whiteley Village Vet Centre.

Cannot fault the support and service from any of the vets, nurses or receptionists as all so friendly, caring and supportive. Only criticism is the new way of claiming insurance. Highly confusing and unclear of what is going on, what's paid for, what's due still. Cannot say thank you enough for looking after Florence and Archie so well

Downland provided and excellent level of care in keeping my dog alive. The vets kept me up-to-date with her progress and kept me assured the whole time she was with them, even when she wasn't doing great, they kept my in the know with phone call updates. Very pleased with the care the give animals and owners alike.

Wonderful people.. They were very kind and patient with me for what was a very hard day saying goodbye to my long time friend. We felt cared for and well looked after. My 💖 was truly happy when I left. Also they sent me a card with her paw print as a keep sake. I could not recommend them enough they truly are lovely kind people.

I've been with Gregg and his team for a while now, I have never found a vet that care as much as they do and give such a personalised service. When our old boy passed away last year they truly looked after us during a time of immense grief. I couldn't recommend them more!

Brilliant staff, incredibly helpful and managed to get us seen very quickly because of a cancellation. This new establishment is incredibly modern, air conditioned, and has plenty of parking. We’ve been here several times now and have zero complaints. The only issue is getting our puppy to leave as he loves the staff 😅 Please Note: Don’t follow the Google Maps direction. The vets is in Zone 2 of the ‘The Pompey Centre’, not Zone 1.

Harbour vets are a very good practice. The staff are caring. They really looked after us , they saw our cat the same day we called. The prices are very competitive. The vet was brilliant and the lady on reception was delightful. Can't say enough about them.

Where do I start….. My bunny very suddenly become sick and being new to the area, I hadn’t had the chance to get them registered anywhere. I gave them a call as soon as I noticed to ask for some advice and was told to bring her in straight away whilst they were able to register me over the phone. Got there about an hour later and was seen straight away. The vet(didn’t catch his name) noticed straight away that something wasn’t right and swiftly took her for oxygen and assessment. Unfortunately, the team were unable to provide a diagnosis as it seemed whatever was wrong was pretty complex but I was provided with multiple options on how I wished to go on. Sadly, my conkers was getting poorer by the minute on the table and we all agreed in her best interests, it was time for her to go to bunny heaven. My review may seem like a bit of a story but I just wanted to explain on how such a distressing situation for us, the team treated us and my bunny with such care and compassion compared to other vets i’ve experienced in the past. We weren’t treated like money paying customers but more of a member of their family which was a huge relief to us as this was our first pet we have had to go through this with and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support. If you are doing your research or looking for a new vet then you need to come here! ❤️

I had my beautiful jack put to sleep there all the staff are so caring towards me and my dog I was in bits and they kept reassuring me that they will take care of him and he is safe they went above and beyond. THANK YOU.

A fantastic veterinary practice. The staff all care so much about the welfare of their patients, going above what you’d normally expect from a veterinary practice. Sadly we lost one of our older dogs to cancer a few years ago, and the staff were all so upset as they all regarded Maxxy Boy to be one of their own pets. We have moved away from the local area, but we still continue to use this practice because of the way that our pets are treated. Each one of our pets is regarded as if they belong to the staff.

Just wanted to say 'Thank you' to the staff at Companion Care. Sadly we had to say goodbye our border collie Jojo. From needing to bring the appointment forward by a day as Jojo was declining rapidly to providing a blanket for her at the time and a paw print with a cutting of fur. We also recieved a hand written card signed by staff. We collected Jojo ashes today and the practice manager made a point of sitting with us and offering her condolences as well as putting a fresh rose with Jojo's casket. Very simple but thoughtful touches which showed compassion for us at a difficult time . My only gripe is payment being wanted in the midst of us having to say goodbye to Jojo. This was something that could have been handled more sensitively and in a timely way. Thank you to all staff again,

My 2 cockapoos needed to be boarded very soon due to immedoate emergency essential repairs needed to bathroom & kitchen. Stubbington Ark needed all up to date health records soonest! Bruno's were fine, but Buddy's weren't & needed immediate attending to, otherwise he couldn't go. We would be stuck. Including I am really suffering from a Bulging (slipped) disk, which means I am not mobile. But thanks to swift action by Sara, who responded to this big ask, & accommodatingly arranged last minute urgent appointment for current checks & vaccinations, & then efficient transmission of information via email to Stubbington Ark, both our dogs are good to go!! Sara clearly understood the predicament I was in, & showed real empathy in dealing with this in the manner that she did. Fortunately a family member could transport the dogs to & from the vet at the last minute! And, also a big thank you to the vet who saw our 2 boys at such short notice & enabled us to all to get the situation sorted in time for all concerned! I have used Companion Vets since 2022 when we had Buddy our first puppy, then was joined by Bruno in 2023. We have absolutely no cause for complaint. All staff have been wonderful, personally & professionally, throughout.

I really recommend this vets! They showed such care when my cat was unwell recently. The vet Samson was fantastic, really knowledgable & explained everything carefully, he also phoned me at home to see how things were going & got me to send pictures so he could check things, he just seemed to genuinely care. The women on the front desk were also brilliant, they were really caring & friendly & they helped me with my insurance & financial worries as I’d never had to use it before, but they made it all straight forward & we’re really understanding. I just want to say a big thank you!

We took our cat in for her first vaccines, health check and microchip. The vet, David, was very kind and gentle with Estella. Estella stayed calm as a result and the appointment went well, very officiant. The nurse who helped hopd Estella was fantastic also.

I will be forever great for Jo the nurse at Locks Heath and Jack the vet. My 9months old cocker mabel became poorly very quickly. We recently had to make the heart-breaking decision to have my horse put to sleep, and the experience was more difficult than I could have ever comprehended. However, the compassion and professionalism we received from Animed Veterinary Hospital, and especially from Alex, made an unbearably painful time a little easier to navigate. Alex was beyond amazing. She was empathetic, thoughtful, and kept in constant communication, offering reassurance and support every step of the way. She went above and beyond, ensuring I had everything I needed without me even having to ask, and her efforts to accommodate my family and me were truly above expectations. It was clear that Alex cared deeply for my horse, as well as us as a family, during such a sensitive time. I'm Poppy the Weimaraner, and I had my laparoscopic spay today at Animed, a fast paced specialist surgical facility who find laparoscopic work routine and very straightforward. My surgeon, Antonia Auty was personally recommended to my Daddy by another vet and I'm grateful they did. She explained everything very clearly to Mum and Dad, and constantly gave us the opportunity to change our mind about the procedure. She is supported by exceptionally personable and professional nurses and admin staff. Dad said average wouldn't last long at Animed. Lastly it's cheap! I'm really not sure how they made money out of me today. Thank you Antonia, nursing and admin team for keeping me safe and mum and dad happy xxx

All the Harbour vets are very professional and friendly but we first took Rosie our Pom to the Drayton branch and she fell in love with Matko, the vet who has looked after her health since May 2022. She knows he has real affection for her and she trusts him. She also feels secure with all the staff. The receptionists are helpful and empathetic and the nurses are full of knowledge and good advice and so gentle. Rosie is benefitting from this and we're both looking forward to her check up with the lovely Alys next week. Thank you all at Harbour x PS/ This is an update of my recent visit. Thank you so much Jess for dealing with Rosie's emergency appointment. So quick to act on the right course for Rosie after she ingested some slug pellets from our neighbours garden. All the veranarian are very friendly had excellent experience with them they took care of my pomeranian and two cats never had any problems with them just love the dr he is so good with my baby's both my cats were flying out of the country they were able to take care of all the shots needed to fly ..would recommend them to all my friends and family..Thank you for everything 🌝🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐶

Everyone at this vet is absolutely lovely and they couldn't be more helpful. In the last few years our twenty-something-year-old cat Bean has been back and forth for multiple visits. The staff on reception have always been accommodating and friendly, but I'd like to give a special shout-out to Matko. Matko has always been a very friendly and empathetic member of staff. When visiting, he always made us feel at ease, even at more difficult times. He always knew what was best for Bean, and simply you could tell he cared about her and cares about animals in general. You can't ask for more in a vet than you get in Matko, he will always be our first choice should we need any care with our other cat! Unfortunately Bean recently passed away, but once again Matko was there to offer us a friendly welcome even at the worst of times, and once again put us at ease. I have no doubt she received the best care and got to live a longer and healthier life thanks to him.

Since moving to this area, in 1977, all our pets have been looked after by this and the Portsmouth unit superbly. With the passing of our cat Leo last Friday, today we returned unused medications, food and to pay for the final bill. A sad day to end an era, so a huge thanks to all the staff for the care and dedication they have given all our pets over the years, and to us too. Tod and Heather Sloan .

We went to Harbour Vets emergency hospital a few Saturdays ago due to our 8 year old golden retriever passing blood in her poo and sick. I thought it was the beginning of the end. However the vet there, explained what he was going to do, plus what the next steps could be. After 3 days on antibiotics and prebiotics she became much better and back to her normal self. We are so happy and put full trust into our vets. Thank you Harbour Vets!
