We took our cat in for her first vaccines, health check and microchip. The vet, David, was very kind and gentle with Estella. Estella stayed calm as a result and the appointment went well, very officiant. The nurse who helped hopd Estella was fantastic also.

We just want to say thank you to everyone at this practice for everything you’ve done for Rich over the years. You’ve always been there for him, from his younger days right through to the end. Your care, patience, and kindness meant a lot to us. Even if deep down we knew the answer, we’ll always be grateful to Justyn for guiding us to make the right decision when the time came. Rich is at peace now. Thank you so much!

We took our large Bouvier de Flanders to the vet, very ill at a nine we thought the worst. We saw Paula, we have had pets for many years, but Paula did an examination of Poppy, who due to her size is not an easy dog to examine, but we have never seen a vet undertake such a thorough examination. Also the diagnosis was difficult to find, so Paula sought a second opinion. Also towards the end of the consultation Paula gave us three answers to the illness, then on top of that asked how our financial position a gave us three options of cost. Normally we would get a referral and a huge bill. We chose what option to take, then Paula gave us the medication and said she would call us for an update. We will always ask for Paula in the future. Our pug had to have an emergency operation due to an ulcer on her eye. She was seen the very next day after a referral from our vets. All of the staff from the surgeon to the receptions were brilliant. I was very worried about our dog as well as claiming on insurance for the very first time. They made me feel at ease, explained all options and gave clear instructions for her recovery. Can’t thank everyone enough!

Was referred for an emergency appointment for my little chihuahua that had a piece of wood embedded in his eye ball and unfortunately had to have surgery. Anna, the ophthalmologist was reassuring and really nice and done a great job with him. Everyone from the nurses to the receptionists were friendly and helpful. They helped with with the insurance side of it as well, which I am grateful for. Would definitely recommend them.

I cannot praise this practice enough. Had to make end of life decisions with two of my past dogs and both times the whole staff were so caring. We were not rushed and our wishes were taken into account.

Saw my 19.6 year old female cat st short notice for an emergency appointment a short while ago. Riachu had ingrown toenails which was treated reassuringly and she is now thriving. X

I found a dead fox on the road outside my house. I took it to Harbour vets in North End on Saturday afternoon 07 09 2024, not knowing what to do with it. A very helpful lady took the fox and said they could 'look after' it. Very grateful as i had no idea what to do.

We welcomed our new fur baby Bambi to our home in December, never had a puppy before so a little scary. First couple of weeks was a dream, but in unfortunate events a shiny red thing popped out of her eye, so being a panic mother I rushed her straight down to harbour vets (whom was highly recommended by my mother in law who she has used for all her dogs)The receptionist listened to the over the top panic mother and booked us straight in. The lovely vet confirmed this was cherry eye and prescribed us with eye drops ( what a nightmare trying to use these ) and healed within 5 days. Few weeks later she scratched her ear so much… back again. Prescribed more medication for inflammation of the ear. Few weeks later…. BACK AGAIN… with infected tail pocket and ear infection. I cannot express enough how helpful and kind all staff have been. The receptionist “Jack” very polite, professional, helpful and funny (even with my silly questions over the phone) The vet…. WOW…..such a lovely, caring, understanding human being. She was so gently, professional, answered all my questions and very helpful advice was given. Even though I feel deflated with all Bambi’s vet visits recently , And feel it is a never ending circle… honestly knowing the love and care they give to our beautiful fur baby i feel so reassured she is always going to be in the best care. Narla now rests in piece...and yes, I cried my eyes out when I got home and prepared her for burial, but memories, photos and videos also help to heal.
