We took our cat in for her first vaccines, health check and microchip. The vet, David, was very kind and gentle with Estella. Estella stayed calm as a result and the appointment went well, very officiant. The nurse who helped hopd Estella was fantastic also.

I really recommend this vets! They showed such care when my cat was unwell recently. The vet Samson was fantastic, really knowledgable & explained everything carefully, he also phoned me at home to see how things were going & got me to send pictures so he could check things, he just seemed to genuinely care. The women on the front desk were also brilliant, they were really caring & friendly & they helped me with my insurance & financial worries as I’d never had to use it before, but they made it all straight forward & we’re really understanding. I just want to say a big thank you!

Where do I start….. My bunny very suddenly become sick and being new to the area, I hadn’t had the chance to get them registered anywhere. I gave them a call as soon as I noticed to ask for some advice and was told to bring her in straight away whilst they were able to register me over the phone. Got there about an hour later and was seen straight away. The vet(didn’t catch his name) noticed straight away that something wasn’t right and swiftly took her for oxygen and assessment. Unfortunately, the team were unable to provide a diagnosis as it seemed whatever was wrong was pretty complex but I was provided with multiple options on how I wished to go on. Sadly, my conkers was getting poorer by the minute on the table and we all agreed in her best interests, it was time for her to go to bunny heaven. My review may seem like a bit of a story but I just wanted to explain on how such a distressing situation for us, the team treated us and my bunny with such care and compassion compared to other vets i’ve experienced in the past. We weren’t treated like money paying customers but more of a member of their family which was a huge relief to us as this was our first pet we have had to go through this with and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support. If you are doing your research or looking for a new vet then you need to come here! ❤️

Harbour vets are a very good practice. The staff are caring. They really looked after us , they saw our cat the same day we called. The prices are very competitive. The vet was brilliant and the lady on reception was delightful. Can't say enough about them.

I had my beautiful jack put to sleep there all the staff are so caring towards me and my dog I was in bits and they kept reassuring me that they will take care of him and he is safe they went above and beyond. THANK YOU.

Brilliant staff, incredibly helpful and managed to get us seen very quickly because of a cancellation. This new establishment is incredibly modern, air conditioned, and has plenty of parking. We’ve been here several times now and have zero complaints. The only issue is getting our puppy to leave as he loves the staff 😅 Please Note: Don’t follow the Google Maps direction. The vets is in Zone 2 of the ‘The Pompey Centre’, not Zone 1.

Was referred for an emergency appointment for my little chihuahua that had a piece of wood embedded in his eye ball and unfortunately had to have surgery. Anna, the ophthalmologist was reassuring and really nice and done a great job with him. Everyone from the nurses to the receptionists were friendly and helpful. They helped with with the insurance side of it as well, which I am grateful for. Would definitely recommend them.

Our pug had to have an emergency operation due to an ulcer on her eye. She was seen the very next day after a referral from our vets. All of the staff from the surgeon to the receptions were brilliant. I was very worried about our dog as well as claiming on insurance for the very first time. They made me feel at ease, explained all options and gave clear instructions for her recovery. Can’t thank everyone enough!

We took our large Bouvier de Flanders to the vet, very ill at a nine we thought the worst. We saw Paula, we have had pets for many years, but Paula did an examination of Poppy, who due to her size is not an easy dog to examine, but we have never seen a vet undertake such a thorough examination. Also the diagnosis was difficult to find, so Paula sought a second opinion. Also towards the end of the consultation Paula gave us three answers to the illness, then on top of that asked how our financial position a gave us three options of cost. Normally we would get a referral and a huge bill. We chose what option to take, then Paula gave us the medication and said she would call us for an update. We will always ask for Paula in the future. Thank you Paula.👏👏👏👏

Wanted to mention and thank Seadown Vet Shafak for being so thorough in looking after our beloved cat Munchie. After several weeks of issues with a non- healing wound to his tail Shafak managed to find the cause..a broken tooth that had caused a mouth abcess. It would appear this caused Munchie to start attacking his tail to distract from his painful mouth. It is thanks to Shafak Munchie is finally on the mend. Shafak: you are a credit to your profession and to the Seadown Hythe team! Many thanks again, Yvonne, Steve and Munchie

The most compassionate, friendly and helpful vets I've ever dealt with. They were sympathetic and kind when we had to say goodbye to our elderly cat unexpectedly and gave us all the options, explaining everything whilst giving us time to process any decisions. We even got a sympathy card through the post a a week or so later, which really meant a lot. Can't recommend them high enough.

Absolutely amazing. Receptionists at northend and southsea are kind caring polite professional and just blomin lovely. Our dog had an emergency 2 night and day stay. On a drip,hand fed every 2hrs. 24hr aroundcthe click full on care. We were called and updated regularly. The level of care for pets and owner is priceless and comforting to say the least. Huge thanks from us all especially Flavia,Beth and Matt. We couldn't want for a better TEAM for our little girl xxx

I can't thank the team enough for the empathy for myself and too Narla. Sadly, not the result I, nor Narla wanted, but Kev, a huge thank you to you, and your team. Narla now rests in piece...and yes, I cried my eyes out when I got home and prepared her for burial, but memories, photos and videos also help to heal. I found a dead fox on the road outside my house. I took it to Harbour vets in North End on Saturday afternoon 07 09 2024, not knowing what to do with it. A very helpful lady took the fox and said they could 'look after' it. Very grateful as i had no idea what to do.

We welcomed our new fur baby Bambi to our home in December, never had a puppy before so a little scary. First couple of weeks was a dream, but in unfortunate events a shiny red thing popped out of her eye, so being a panic mother I rushed her straight down to harbour vets (whom was highly recommended by my mother in law who she has used for all her dogs)The receptionist listened to the over the top panic mother and booked us straight in. The lovely vet confirmed this was cherry eye and prescribed us with eye drops ( what a nightmare trying to use these ) and healed within 5 days. Few weeks later she scratched her ear so much… back again. Prescribed more medication for inflammation of the ear. Few weeks later…. BACK AGAIN… with infected tail pocket and ear infection. I cannot express enough how helpful and kind all staff have been. The receptionist “Jack” very polite, professional, helpful and funny (even with my silly questions over the phone) The vet…. WOW…..such a lovely, caring, understanding human being. She was so gently, professional, answered all my questions and very helpful advice was given. Even though I feel deflated with all Bambi’s vet visits recently , And feel it is a never ending circle… honestly knowing the love and care they give to our beautiful fur baby i feel so reassured she is always going to be in the best care. I thank all the staff who have looked after her over the last few weeks Would absolutely with no doubt recommend this practice to anyone. Love Bambi’s forever loving mum Natalie Tracey
