Private course for John Lewis & Waitrose partners. Very well kept and an interesting course made of two 9 hole course, old (original and better) and new which is still good.

Absolutely lovely.... New course is still a challenge but boy you have to try the Old course Late October visit... Colours of trees fantastic and courses in great shape

Had a great day playing against the seniors today, a lovely course, testing but inviting and the greens were in beautiful condition. But the best part was the great bunch of guys we played with. Thanks for the day guys, and hopefully will be back again.

We have just held our mum’s 90th Birthday celebration at Bearwood Lakes and it was absolutely perfect in every way! Yes, it’s a beautiful location, the function rooms are extremely attractive and comfortable and the food is excellent, but what really makes the difference at Bearwood is their wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. The service and attention we received on the day was simply superb! Our contact throughout, from initial enquiry, planning the event and then overseeing the day itself was with Events Manager, Mandy Hurst, who could not have done any more to make sure our day was a great success. Nothing was too much trouble and we (and particularly the birthday girl) were made to feel so welcome that Mandy genuinely felt more like a friend who was part of our day than a member of staff! Thank you Mandy, to you and all the team for making it such a memorable day for our mum. You were simply fantastic and I hope Bearwood Lakes fully appreciates what a priceless asset you are!

It was a great experience today at The Bunker with lovely hosts who look after everyone. It's a very good setup with Trackman that gives you the option to play rounds on some amazing worldwide courses along with other fun games and practice sessions. The SIM has certainly improved in quality, now picking up more detail of the courses with trees, brush and ground type playing part of the game.

Fin and Luca are awesome. Came to the Bunker on a Monday night. It was quiet and the lads were super friendly and really helpful. Showed us how to set up Trackman and gave us advice on the game. The Bunker itself is a welcome addition to Deanwood! We will be back soon.

Enjoyable round in the West Berkshire countryside. Course quite wet and 4th hole undergoing maintenance work to the fairway. Will be much better when finished. Pleasant staff very welcoming.

John , Ali and the team at Deanwood made our wedding day beyond perfect. All companies involved went above and beyond to create such a special day for us. I cannot thank you all enough for your Patience with us in organising our day in such a short period of time. The food was Devine. Everything about our day was just beyond perfect. It's a short 9 hole course but has some challenging holes, especially the 8th. Its well maintained. It has very friendly staff. A nice course.

It's a lovely little 9 hole course which makes you think about each shot and takes approximately 2 hrs to get round as a mid handicapper. A driver isn't really needed as it's all par 3's/4's. Greenkeepers do a great job and it's in fantastic condition considering all the rain we've had. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The other plus is they have golf simulators called "the bunker" next to the pro shop. The only downside is the driving range is too short but I do understand why and there aren't any nets too properly loosen up before a round. All in all give it a try!

A great place to have a round of golf with some challenging holes which makes it worth a visit. Very well priced for the green fees, the greens are very good with hardly any pitch marks that have not been repaired, I've seen worse greens than these and payed a lot more. The tee yellow boxes could be a bit better but that's a minor detail, overall a well maintained course, staff and fellow golfers helpful and pleasant,

A fantastic tree lined golf course buried in the Berkshire countryside. A good challenge witj some fun holes and the course was in perfect condition, would highly recommend.

Played here about 10 years ago and was pleasantly surprised by how much the course has improved. Quick firm greens, tree lined with great cutting patterns throughout.

Fun course...good shape...a bit confusing as 3 9's so always around people and other holes. Would come back. Played it in a 3 club wind which always takes away a little something. Great views.

Lovely course, a typical wintery day with murky clouds and it was pretty windy in some exposed places. I really enjoyed the variety of elevated tees, blind tee shots, water hazards and the views are stunning. I look forward to visiting again in the Summer months !!!

Best welcome to date…beautiful link course, with the Isle of Wight views. A big shout of to Christie in the pro shop who went up and beyond to help my partner and I find a good place for NYE. Also Graham Pole for his generosity in buying us a pint after our first game here, as the bar was closing with only cash payments. We will defiantly be back to play the final 9 soon. Sam & James 😃

We are members anyway, and to be honest it's a very special place to visit. The sea view, Christchurch Bay, Needles in full view of, is stunning! Brendan for us being front of house, he is absolutely key to our experience, very witty, very hard working and attentive, along side a great team effort in general. We love it here, and will be forever regular visitors.

Course in good condition, 7th hole had temporary green. Staff welcoming.

Player as a guest - really impressed with how well the groundsman had worked on all aspects after wet winter. Everywhere on course there are ball cleaning devices, benches, soil bags and great signage. Very happy with my Birdie on 17th but the rest of my round we will be silent. Nothing snobby about the club, helpful chap in pro-shop, and being a higher handicapper let others play through - all very civil chaps to someone who had no clue about the course.

Update a year later - unwavering in my respect for the effort the club takes to create a great experience. A great golf course run by a fantastic team. I've been a member for a year now and as a high handicapper can't believe how welcoming everyone including other members are. Loads of comps to help you get better, tees and greens in great condition - can't comment on the fairways as rarely see them :) Great work all at N&C p.s. They've just got a new caterer and the food is AMAZING! I may just forget about the golf and go for meals there instead!

I have played here over the years and recently twice. The staff are all polite, friendly and helpful. I rely on them to pass on my compliments to the kitchen crew for excellent meals, and the greens staff for a well maintained course. Not the cheapest but certainly best value for money on a society day out.

Good golf course, challenging yet forgiving if you manage the course. Beware the bunkers, lol. Golf buggies available. Book tee time on line and buggy. Discounts on buggies for medical reasons.

Nice course and not outrageously expensive. Greens are pretty consistent although some of the fairways are a bit lumpy and can give some random bounces. That's my excuse anyway.

This course is easily one of the best in Hampshire its playable all year round due to it having great drainage and being based on chalk. The greens are in prefect condition all year round, much needed development is happening and its making the course stunning to look at aswell as to play. The club is very welcoming and has a very mixed age group with great attention payed to younger players to get them into golf. I also got married at the club and every part of the day was so well organised and put together. Test valley really is a great club.

Great golf course quite challenging on some hole's, super condition and excellent value for par 3 18 hole course. Club house staff very friendly and welcoming as were the other golfer's at the course. Highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous for a wedding venue. My daughter and new son in law recently held their wedding at Ampfield Country club. Staff were above and beyond helpful and friendly they helped make the day so special. Setting was stunning ***** star.

It's a downland course, close to the M3. There are a reasonable variety of holes. It's not overly tough, but some of the greens undulations can be a challenge. It's quiet a hilly course, so if you're carrying, be prepared. The clubhouse staff are welcoming friendly. The food is OK. If you're in the area it's worth a visit.

A great golf course. And a tough one too so not for the beginner. Hilly, chalky countryside means it's playable in winter/spring when many other course are not. Pro shop and bar/clubhouse are good standard. And you'll deserve a drink when you've finished a round!
