We recently moved to the area and wanted to get our gas appliances checked / serviced. Dealing with Dunlop on the phone was very straightforward, and we arranged an appointment. I am so pleased that I chose Dunlop Plumbing Heating & Gas for upgrading my existing central heating system to a combination boiler. I have to say this quotation was chosen because everything was set out so clearly and detailed so, thank you. Thank you also Kiaran for all your expertise and also for the competent work your apprentice Owen carried out under your guidance. I appreciated being told what was happening at each stage even to making good existing flue brickwork, perfect!! All work was carried out non stop and so professionally. I now have a first rate boiler system in my airing cupboard giving me an extra kitchen cupboard! Asked for a quote on Tuesday, by Friday had a new boiler fitted, replaced thermostats, pipework and electrics all upgraded and working smoothly. Really pleased with the work done. CH boiler replacement: Saturday midday requested 3 contacts through online site. 30 minutes later received call from Phillip Smith. Saturday evening visit, excellent advice and instant quotation at a very good price. Monday installed and fully up and working despite being in a tight space - old boiler removed and cleaned up afterwards. Good choice of boiler, excellent choice of supplier/installer. Knowledgeable, friendly, competent and local. The very highest recommendation.

Phil came to the rescue at my house for a gas leak. As you do, I had three people around to assess the work and provide a quote, his price was very reasonable and I felt he was the most professional. He is really friendly, listened to my concerns and provided his own ideas for the best way forward. He explained everything to me at a level I could understand. The work required the gas pipe being rerouted. He completed the work quickly and left the site clean and tidy with minimal disruption to the house. I cannot recommend Phil enough. Thank you 🙏🏼

I was lucky enough to find Phillip from Thermoglow Plumbing and Heating when the twenty year old gas boiler in my parents house broke down. This was a huge concern for me as they are both in their eighties and I do not live close enough to look out for them directly. Phillip quickly assessed the situation and booked them in as an emergency installation and was on site within a couple of days with a replacement boiler. He also had to relocate the flu and various other aspects of the old system to bring it in line with modern safety regulations. He kept me updated on the progress with calls and pictures. He was also able to reassure my mother who can be anxious in situations like this that things would be fine. Maybe this was his biggest achievement! I highly recommend him and he will be the first contractor that I call if anything goes wrong in the future.

Graham and Andy have just finished fitting our kitchen. They have done a brilliant job. It looks lovely and works well. They picked up on a lot of small things that weren't quite right on the plan and adjusted them so they looked good. There was a problem after it was finished and Andy came back late on a Friday afternoon and fixed it. If you are looking for a kitchen/bathroom fitter you won't go wrong with these guys.

Graham helped us out massively with our new kitchen. We had only been in our new property a week when he came over to quote us up and he managed to fit us in around his other jobs as we was desperate to have it done! His team of guys are also really great. Graham had to adapt some areas of the kitchen and also fitted some shelves for us which he wasn't made aware of previously, all of which was no trouble at all. He also fitted some doors for us, our new home was unfortunately not cat proof! It is now! Once we'd finally decided on the kitchen we wanted the next step was finding the right fitter, someone we could trust to bring everything together and make it a reality - in Graham we couldn't have asked for more. Having been recommended by our designer (after working on previous projects together), Graham took the time to visit us on two occasions to answer any queries we had, offer advice when asked and detailed the expected time frame and process with a fully costed quote. After also seeing examples of his previous work and reading other reviews, we were more than happy to wait a little longer to ensure he was the man for the job. Graham is a true craftsman, taking on all aspects of the build - wall removal, relocation of plumbing for sink and appliances, flooring, plastering, tiling and of course cabinetry - and applied the same attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible finish was achieved to all aspects throughout the process. The work area was always left tidy, and any anomalies encountered along the way were handled seemingly without issue. The result is a space and finish that exceeds what we initially envisaged and those that have seen it since - including the designer - have all commented on the standout quality of Grahams work. We couldn't be happier and for anyone considering a similar project, recommend you contact Graham for an initial quote - we can't rate him highly enough!

Graham is one of the most painstaking and thorough workmen I have ever had the pleasure of employing. Nothing is too much trouble and the finish is superb. I needed a plumber who was experienced in handling macerators, to sort out my mother's one in her bathroom. I chose LDA because they had good feedback. Lee arranged to visit and look at the job required. He was super with my very elderly mother, reassuring her that it could all be fixed. Although the job wasn't urgent, Lee went above and beyond to get it replaced and the new one installed. It is so good to find local tradesmen, who are reliable and are good with their customers too. Lee and the team have helped me a couple of times now. First to sort out the plumbing to install my dishwasher and more recently to fix my leaky shower. They have a great attention to detail and a genuine care to give good customer service. With some services I feel a bit undermined or bamboozled but Lee and the team are personable, relatable and most importantly… they always turn up and get the job done! I rang LDA plumbing as my sink was blocked and I couldn’t clear it. He arrived quickly and did a great job getting things moving. My pipes were blocked with years of build up which he cleared and replaced without a fuss and mess. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We recently had our Gas box moved from the side of our house, to the front of the house. GHS came round to reconnect our gas for us and to run the new pipes into the house. They were very efficient and friendly. The guy who came, Matt, was super helpful and also spotted a couple of things that weren't quite right so also fixed these at the same time for us. Great service, very quick and the bill at the end was surprisingly low. One very happy customer here! Thank you :)

Had to call them out for a water leak that the insurance company totally failed us on. Arrived an hour after my visit to the office. Mark sorted it out and we can now use the shower. He showed me the cause of the defect and tidied up after him. Definitely recommend and a great local business. Have used them before and will use again with no hesitation 👍

We called Doug because we had a blocked kitchen sink, we'd tried abit of DIY unsuccessfully. Doug called in the next evening on his way home and fixed our problem straight away - obviously he knows his pipes ! he located the blockage and got us flowing again. Many thanks Doug - highly recommended
