Rosie is a brilliant tutor, my daughter loved going to her because she is exceptionally kind and patient, and she really helped her improve in all areas of the 11+ study. My daughter passed the 11+ with a score in the top 180, which is down to the tutoring she received from Rosie. Now my son is studying with her too! If you are looking for an 11+ tutor we couldn't recommend anyone better than Rosie!

Rosie is an excellent teacher. She was very patient, gave the kids time to learn & understand things. Rosie did not only teach but she also encouraged the kids to do their best with her motivational speeches. My son learnt a lot, became confident in doing his homework, happy to attend his lessons, and finally got into his grammar school of choice. All this within a short time would not have happened if we did not meet Rosie. Dynamics 11+ tuition is just the best. Thank you Rosie.

We have been very impressed by TLA. The quality of teaching was great and our son enjoyed his time here. The lessons were engaging and he was taught simple methods to understand core principles. My daughter attended The Learning Academy for preparation for her 11plus, Kent test. The staff are professional, friendly and have a very calm and encouraging approach to teaching. My son started tutoring with RTC in year 4 of primary school, finally finishing his time with them in the Summer holidays following year 5. During that time we have felt fully supported, with there being a focus on my son as a whole person rather than just ‘getting him through’ his 11+. We were offered sound advice which I appreciated, a kind ear from the lovely Ilse and a confidence boost from everyone he encountered. I took my son to the Tonbridge campus and Tony could not have been a more wonderful tutor in every sense. We actually really miss the sessions since he stopped.

My daughter started with the RTC (TW) in Y4, and she's finished her journey with success now. My daughter loved the weekly classes with her excellent and extremely professional tutor, Justine.. Justine was fully supportive, with her invaluable advice and guidance. I really can't recommend her enough. All the process went really smoothly, the weekly classes;the email follow-ups with content about what has been taught each week; the mock assessments; the consultations after the mock with the Tutor and the revisions. And of course, a huge thanks to the front team : Stephanie, Jinky, and Ilse. They have been highly supportive,very friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much for such a caring, perfect environment.

Both of my children attended weekly classes for about a year in the run up to the 11+. I think both of them benefitted a lot from the classes. It really helped them understand what to expect from the test and how to prepare for it, and get used to the style of questions. Thoroughly recommended.

Could not have asked for more for my daughter. The team in Tonbridge are absolutely amazing, great feedback and communication between tutor and parent, very welcoming and enjoyable for the children. My daughter loved the fact that on the first day she was given her own tuition satchel and stationary. Ilse was so lovely and understanding of every families own personal circumstances and very supportive. My child had 6 tuition sessions on a Saturday and a couple of full days during the summer holidays which were so valuable and I genuinely appreciate the wonderful contribution and teaching the group have provided her for the best start for secondary school. A really thorough quiz which considers a variety of science terms and processes as part of the multiple choice, encouraging further learning or checking when the answers are revealed at the end of the test. Accessible, friendly and enjoyable. Just enough questions around the specific topics, enough to not become overbearing or confusing. Although I think that for GCSE, it may need to be a bit more challenging. Maybe there could be challenging levels to select and pass as part of the quizzing. Thank you.

Rita is such a lovely tutor, she took the time out of her day to make sure my daughter has the right work to complete and to ensure that she is getting the right tasks in order to do well in her gcses. With Rita my daughter was able to jump 2 whole grades which is a massive improvement. I could not recommend Rita enough, she is very good at what she does!

Vicky is such a talented tutor, my daughter had an English teacher at school that was focusing too much on the negative. She and my son had had lessons with Vicky before (in yr6) so I felt confident she’d be the perfect person to give my daughter (yr10) the boost she needed. She had weekly lessons with Vicky up until going through her GCSEs and the change in her attitude towards learning and also her confidence in her own abilities has been seriously dramatic in the last few months. Now she’s actually really looking forward to getting her GCSE results!! I’ve already put my son on Vicky’s list to give him a boost as he starts yr11. Vicky has been a fantastic tutor for my daughter for 8 years right up to her GCSE exams. She tailored her lessons to my daughter's needs boosting her confidence. Vicky also greatly helped my son by providing a couple of adhoc lessons to assist him with understanding some very difficult equations on his electrical course. As a result both passed their exams. Without Emma, I could never have achieved a grade 9 in both English literature and language. Before starting my tutoring, my grades were at 6’s and 7’s and I didn’t know what I could do better to improve them. We cannot speak more highly of her exceptional teaching ability and particular skills in enhancing exam technique. Emma was always consistent in her ability to teach English to a very high standard whilst motivating our child to thrive in the subject. This resulted in our child achieving five marks below the maximum grade 9 in their GCSE exam. My son has just achieved a 5 in his GCSE maths (which is the highest in his foundation level) after being a 3 in his mocks. We used Joanne from advantage tuition on a 1-2-1 basis for an hour every week from mocks to GCSE and my son actually said he didn’t mind maths at the end when he did not like it all all previously. My daughter prepared her 11+ with Advantage Tuition, attended the Saturday classes and really enjoyed them. They were very organised, covered all the topics during the year, organised the homework and tests to practice at home, had mini assessments every term to evaluate their progression and they offered parent consultations. During the summer they also offered revion days and mock exams. All these really helped my daughter, and she ultimately performed well in the 11+ with a good result. Nick was an excellent tutor over the summer; he provided a structured, well thought out programme of topics to help prepare my son for year 9 and keep his brain ticking over during the long holiday . Communication was excellent and Nick emailed brief feedback after each session and materials in preparation for the following week. Nick is an excellent and highly qualified tutor. He played a huge part in the achievement of my daughter's GCSE. From the beginning, he offered a lot of help and was very efficient in his lessons. My daughter has often surprised me with the variety of ways to solve a problem, and this is down to Nick, who has highly influenced her way of thinking . At the end of each lesson, Nick always gives feedback and homework for the next lesson.Nick increases her confidence, and by improving her grades significantly, she will now be doing Maths A level. I would highly recommend Jeni from Sunnydene! My daughter was preparing for the Kent test and my friend had recommended Jeni for Mock tests (we already had a tutor by this point). The mock tests ran very smoothly, the feedback was very helpful and valuable. We focused on the feedback provided and the second mock test result showed a massive improvement on my daughter’s scores! We then had some sessions during the summer holiday to get ready for the final day. My daughter passed the Kent test! I would like to thank Jeni for all the feedback and help she provided. Being relatively new to Kent I found the whole selective system and Kent Test process somewhat overwhelming, but Jeni completely demystified it and made it all feel more manageable.
