Faultless service from first contact. The kindness and support shown when my lovely old boa constrictor sadly had to be put to sleep was amazing, right up to and including when he was collected for cremation. Would 100% recommend this practice!!

Our lovely cat Rosemary of 18years, health deteriorated quickly and when we reached out to our own vet of 20years we couldn’t get an appointment within reasonable time. We contacted Medivet Evegate- Montgomery, who gave us the opportunity to attend straight away and we were seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The whole service and compassion from all staff involved (reception lady who was so kind on the phone when I started crying and she led us into a consultation room and offered drinks and tissues, to the kind vet who was with us till the end with Rosemary ) was second to none. We would highly recommend this veterinary practice. We also received a beautiful card in the post today which meant so much to us. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!

I took my guinea pigs there and everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Jack was so knowledgeable and really cared for Piggy Smalls - I felt that I could trust them and I couldn’t recommend a better vet.

One of the most compassionate yet professional vet practices I have come across. The staff are lovely and my dog loves going in there. We had an excellent experience with his neuter surgery where he healed beautifully. Today was my first visit to Heronden Veterinary Practice with my dog Teddy. Very easy to find, good size car park. Receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, made a great fuss of Teddy, which he loved. The vet was also very friendly and helpful. He was great with Ted. I'm so glad I made the change 😊

Professional service all the way through. From the initial registration, to booking the appointment, to explaining different options best suited for our pets requirements,to the Vet really caring for our little fur baby, and again sharing experiences of different training techniques for our puppy without forcing them upon you, a great balance in my opinion. We have recently joined Heronden Vets after a bad experience at a previous vets. All of the staff have taken time to get to know Roddy and reassure him. He gets spoilt with lots of treats and fusses. We have decided to take Roddy along weekly to try and get him used to it, all of the staff have been so patient and understanding. Thanks to Heronden the vets has gone from being a bad experience, to a much calmer and relaxed environment for him. We knew it was time to let Roxy go after her diagnosis which was inoperable. She outlived vets prediction by nearly a year but the time had come. I wanted to do it at home so that she didn't experience any stress. For what was the saddest of times, couldn't have experienced a more peaceful send off. Michaela was kind and compassionate, no fuss was made, it was all done very kindly and swiftly as Roxy drifted peacefully away. The crematorium were waiting outside to take her way. Although a heart breaking day it was the best send of for my beloved fur baby and I would highly recommend Silver Gate Vets

Cannot recommend enough. The thought of having to take our beautiful Tilly to the vets (which she hated) for her final moments was awful but she had deteriorated so quickly and on a bank holiday Monday we thought we might not have any choice. The decision was incredibly hard but Silvergate made the whole process stress free. Tilly was at ease the whole time and it was just as though she had drifted into a peaceful sleep, comfortable in her own home, loved and with her family which is all we could have asked for her. Thankyou for making our final moments with her so peaceful.

On Monday I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog Barney as he had reached the end of his life. It was a very hard decision to make. However, it was made easier by the kind care and guidance provided by the vet Dr Oliver Daniels from Silver Gate Vets, who helped us handle the sad process. Also for arranging everything with Di and Kat from Barnshaw Pet Crematorium. I appreciate the gentle way they collected Barney immediately afterwards and dealt so thoughtfully with his cremation. I am forever grateful for their services.

Last week, Wednesday 1st February we had to make the gut wrenching decision to send our 18-year-old cat to heaven after a short battle with cancer. We had already decided that we wanted at-home euthanasia so that our cat Fudge was peaceful and in familiar surroundings. Oli went through the process step by step so that we were aware of the changes that may happen during the process and what to expect. He made sure to let us know exactly what was happening and reassured us that we were making the right decision. Even down to the details of his cremation such as where he was going and who would be doing it. Ensuring us he would be taken care of during his final journey. What was supposed to be a stressful and traumatic experience was turned into a quiet and peaceful send off for our cherished family cat. And for that, we thank you.

Used Abbeywell Vets to get an AHC for a trip to France. I had never travelled with my dog before but they made it simple and stress free. My dog was vaccinated elsewhere but they made the whole process a lot easier than I thought it would be, no problems at all. Will definitely be back next time I travel with my dog

I had an emergency with my dog, where (somehow?!) my handbag straps metal clip got caught on my dogs leg. It was very deeply caught and my dog was howling in pain. I rushed him to this vets and all of the staff were very kind and helpful. They luckily got the clip removed without sedation. A big thanks to the staff, I would recommend as they clearly care for animals.

This was the first time we had taken our dog to Europe and Abbeywell vets were fantastic. Filled in the form and our vet sent them our records. Then all we had to do was collect the AHC on the day we agreed. We will be using them again next year and will get it at a discount. Great service.

I would just like to say the help and advice for my dog Hester has been fantastic. After already having pre booked trips to Europe and then getting Hester. The staff have fitted my dog in to have all her vaccination and Rabies injection with literally 1 day spare. Hester can now enjoy her first trip away at the start of next month. Thanks again.

Today i went in with my dog who had a bite from another dog on her eye lid. I saw a new vet who i hadnt seen before who was a bit of a specialist in eyes. She was brilliant and was really great in treating my dog. My dog is pretty nervous and she put her at ease and was really thorough and reassuring. The staff are always lovely here, the reception staff, nurses and vets. Having the care and compassion from the whole team is brilliant.

I've used hawkinge vets since the beginning when it was just John , I've always been treated extremely well and more importantly my dogs have been treated to the highest standards possible , the staff are amazing friendly and extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about their roles , I have built a very good relationship with all that work thier and I would never go anywhere else . thank you for all your hard work in keeping my dogs well and treating each and everyone of then with so much kindness and care , always greatful .

Honestly love these vets, they've been amazing with all of my dogs. Only been with the practice for a year, but we've definitely been more times than we'd like. My dog hates all vets but Vicky was great with her. They don't rush you and provided additional advice above what I came in for. Lea is also extremely helpful both via email and when in the practise. Thank you for taking care of my dog!

We have been very lucky to have this vet close to us and they have always provided excellent care for our four cats including directly, through referring and through helping with tests. I was compelled to write a review after 8 years however because we had to make the very hard decision to have our cat put to sleep after a very sudden illness and Vicky was a fantastic support during this time. She did what she could to make the process calm and reassured me throughout. They also arranged for the cremation and saved me a little clipping of fur and paw print to keep which has meant the world. Whitstable Bay also liaised with a specialist vet to ensure that they had all the right info to provide us and to help us understand what was happening. They have always helped with any concerns that our cats have presented with including eye conditions, weight loss and we have never felt judged about how we treat our cats (one of ours is very anti-brush/groom and does get very matted and the nurses have supported us with this at times).

Adam, Vicky and their team are absolutely amazing. They have two of our dogs on pet plans and are amazing with them. They have also recently helped us say farewell to our other dog. Everyone who dealt with us was amazing and empathetic, nothing was to much to ask and they are without a doubt the best vets any where. Thank you for all you do and thank you for helping us through a tough time. Special thanks to Vicky and Emily who were so amazing, to the point that Emily stayed with our dog until Treasured Friends collected her. We are forever grateful.

Having been accepted with a 13 year old dog with terminal heart problems, can’t fault the care and compassion shown by the vets and all the staff. The way the at home PTS was handled will always warm my heart. So no question where our new rescue (Penny) would be registered. Three years on, we have recommended many, even though we have to travel 9 miles to get to the vets, would not consider changing. My only concern is over the new booking system “PetsApp”. All the reception staff are so helpful on the phone and when I take my dog. The vets and the nurses are fantastic. Always feel very welcome and informed. Like a family practise. Highly recommend Bourne.

Been with this Veterinary Practice since it opened for routine cat health checks and vaccinations but it is so reassuring to be able to book an emergency appointment online at night to be seen first thing the next morning. All staff are welcoming and caring. Good to be told costs throughout consultation so that there isn’t a shock when going to pay. Thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice.

Bourne Veterinary Practice is an outstanding practice. After a lifetime of animal family members, I have been a client for many years since the practice opened, and during that time I cannot think of a single thing to fault. The vets and nurses are professional and clinically brilliant as well as kind, approachable & genuinely caring about your animal companion. I always seem to need to vet for sad endings, however all our visits from the vets have been caring and sympathetic- especially as we all stand around and blub for our beloved creatures. Thank you for making the transition as painless as possible 😓
