We stopped in for coffee and hot chocolate. Ended up have extra little truffles, the most amazing stirring chocolate and sone chocolate stirrers to take home. Lovely little place which is also dog friendly. Really enjoyed it, would recommend to others.

Nice place. Old worldly that fits in with Hythe High Street. Rear garden secluded and shaded from the hot sun but plenty of light seeping through. Plenty of wines to suit. Food looked good but did not try since ours was a coffee stop. Coffee was of good quality . Young girl serving 1630 23/08/23 complimented the Establishment. Polite friendly and prompt service. Worth stopping if you need a coffee , cake, meal or wish to partake in a bouquet of fine wines.

A hidden gem along the High Street. We stopped off for lunch today and were amazed by the fresh food and reasonable pricing. We also grabbed a take away slice of cake which was delicious!

We went here for breakfast before moving home. The Mrs had pancakes and I had salmon on soda bread. We also treated ourselves to some shakes. The food was really yummy and tasted fresh. I can recommend the peanut butter shake. The service was really good and the staff were really friendly. I would like to go back again.

Gorgeous little place. We were offered tea and cofee initially coming in at 2:30pm. Then offered lunch by a kind lady. We decided to settle for the cofee and tea. All of it was beautifully decorated and presented, as well as super delicious.

Fabulous place. No such thing as an ordinary bowl of soup or sandwich here- everything had a special touch. Really well presented and tasted as good as it looked. Small, cosy place with lovely atmosphere and excellent staff. I would definitely recommend. The cake and mocha was the best I've ever had too! Delicious:)

The menus on this Google listing were way out of date so we found the prices much higher. Now updated! Charging extra for beans with a full English breakfast is cheeky.

Well, what to say? We left home at 5am for our 4th trip to the UK. After a bit of a ride we had our breakfast at this wonderful place. This small pitoresque breakfast facility is the hidden GEM near folkstone. This is a place to remember and saved into our "good food list".

Delicious, fresh and healthy food. Root is my favourite place to eat in the area, and you can eat there if dieting without guilt! Every time I visit I thoroughly enjoy the food, the great service and atmosphere.

Today we had our first experience of Mit Milch coffee and we will definitely be back. It was some of the best coffee we have ever enjoyed and the gentleman behind the counter was really lovely. A fantastic experience. And the vegan cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious. Thank you

Excellent range of coffees with a really knowledgeable barista. We travelled here from the other side of Kent and weren't disappointed. They have a small selection of bakery items, including several vegan options. I'll definitely be coming back.

In a word, exceptional. Second visit here and it didn’t disappoint. Not only are the basics done right, they’re done flawlessly. This easily has a spot in my top three coffee shops in the UK, albeit a small shop the coffee is outstanding. My only criticism is that your cups of paradise are too short lived. Well done, my highest recommendation.

If you fancy top quality meal & affordable price NINCOMSOUP is the best option for you. Incredibly delicious food, specialty coffees and amazing cakes - all home made including ice-cream! It's definitely the place you must visit while in Hythe. I must say the locals are very lucky to have NINCOMSOUP in the centre of their cosy town.

We found this little cafe by chance. What a find! We tried their soup, which came with a fabulous chunk of proper sourdough. Can’t remember the last time I had such a delicious soup (Senegalese Vegetable). Also bought a loaf of rye bread to take home which was also amazing. Would definitely return if we come back to Hythe. Very friendly staff too.

Very nice, cozy & welcoming! Definitely worth going. The owner is so informative and not in a pushy way. Lovely garden in the back with lots of seating area. The soup is delicious very flavouraome and I tried the float which was really tasty with Rubarb drink. The owner let us know his wife makes the ice cream it was soo smooth & just perfect consistency!

Came here for an early breakfast on a Saturday morning. Good choice of options on the menu and the freshly cooked food was quickly brought out after placing my order. Quality ingredients made it one of the best breakfasts I've had for a while and I found the service to be very friendly and efficient.

A very nice cafe, good service & food. I bought American pancakes with cherries & ice cream (I had the option of choosing whipped cream instead). There were three pancakes in the stack with plenty of cherries. I also bought a lemonade, the total cost was £11.80 which felt fair for the quality & size of the portion. Food came out quickly and was hot. The vegan breakfast was very tasty and would recommend. The avocado was nice and ripe. For the full English breakfast the only issue was the bacon was too thick. Would recommend for a nice breakfast.

Massive portions, well presented & tasted delicious. I had lasagne, my Dad & my Auntie had fish & chips & my uncle had Pie & chips. All the dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. Fair pricing, not expensive, very good value. Highly recommend.

As a Chef who has never eaten out on Christmas Day I was slightly apprehensive to be taken out on the big day for Christmas lunch at Truly Scrumptious by my parents, What a fantastic atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff and most of all first class food, I will be certainly going again ! Truly fantastic experience. Food superb. They make all of the fantastic cakes and scones. The breakfast is of a very high standard. Staff so very friendly and helpful. And the tea cosy is the icing on the cake.

There are lots of places to eat along Hythe High Street, and this one was the busiest. That alone tells you something. A big array of freshly baked cakes and goodies and an extensive menu to choose from. I had a bacon bap today, and there sure was plenty of good bacon in there. A pot of tea for one gets you two large cups, so great value there. I had a coffee last time and that was very good. As was the homemade scone! Lots of seating, indoors and out (some of the outside under shelter), lovely staff and excellent service. Highly recommended.

We went on a Bank Holiday Monday Evening with Excellent food and service. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Our starters were excellent, hummus and olives with flat bread. Why can't shop bought hummus be this good. The Chicken Sish and Lamb (Adana)for our mains. Again, lovely flavours. Washed down with a nice Turkish Rose. We rounded off with Chocolate Fudge and a Rocky horror. The restaurant was buzzing with a great atmosphere, and we will definitely go again. They also do a lunch time set menu for approx £20 whish is fantastic value.

Really lovely restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes great food, a lovely atmosphere and wonderful service. Definitely would come again if we come back to Hythe. We had the mixed cold meze for two and it was Devine. Also two hot meze, the calamari and whitebait and both were really lovely. Also ordered a mixed grill and it was cooked perfectly. A truly lovely experience over all. We sadly ate everything before taking a snap and only got a pic of the dessert 😜

The food was very tasty,and plenty of it. Waitress was very polite and friendly. You can see the chefs preparing the meals and appear happy when they saw empty plates returning. Prices were very good for food. Will definitely return when visiting Hythe next time around.
