Just had a quick drink when walking through the village. Lovely old pub with a great beer garden out the back. Would love to come back and spend more time there and try something off their menu.

Lovely cozy atmosphere with wood burner and pub/bar, great Sunday roast with chicken, pork, beef and vegan/vegetarian options and gluten free substitutions. Dogs and families welcome. Right next to Chiddingston Castle and Park with walks around the area.

We've visited a few times for drinks and finally got to try the amazing Sunday roasts last weekend. We popped in about 4.30 but luckily they were able to offer us the roast beef and it was absolutely delicious. Good value for money and nice to have a tasty selection of lovely veg too. Staff were friendly/welcoming and we'll definitely be returning.

Absolute gem of a local pub. 600 years old and bags of character. They do a cracking Sunday lunch which is highly recommended. The food was great and the service was so friendly. One of the most friendly pubs I can ever remember .Definitely will be coming back here again.
