My first ever afternoon cream tea with a good friend . It came recommended so hence our visit . We were not disappointed by the tea room itself and the very friendly and ever so helpful staff . We were given a warm welcome and throughout our visit we were looked after so well . The content of the cream tea was excellent from sandwich selection to the scones , jam with cream and cake selection . Huge choice of teas and also coffee . We will be returning and we can thoroughly recommend Chalk n teas . You can and should pre book a table to avoid disappointment but it is possible to just walk in . It is not a large tea room hence it’s advisable to book ahead to reserve . 10/10 👍👏

A true gem in an unexpected place. Food was good the tea exceptional and the lady that was running it was very pleasant. I saw her help an elderly man in and by the conversation she had bought him a magazine he had wanted and refused to take the money. Places like this deserve the custom and hopefully the big businesses never ruin them. Well done

Having used Marie's Tearoom in Gravesend several times on our way back to Medway decided to stop in Chalk. Chalk n Teas, what a little gem. Hidden away in the village a real surprise inside. Greeted by a delightful young lady with HELLO and a wonderful smile. Nothing was to much trouble. Will be back soon.

This is a small tea shop with limited tables, but friendly staff and atmosphere. The prices were very reasonable and I would like to go back to sample some of their other food. I did find the cakes a little dry, and the coffee too milky though, hence dropping a star.
