A fantastic little pub in the idyllic village of Eynsford. A smallish outdoor area to the right as you approach and a large area to the rear. Inside the pub is split in two along the lines of what I would think would have been the bar and the lounge. The guvnor was wonderful but took his beers very seriously- kept constant eye contact when he asked what we thought of his beers and listened intently to our answers. The inside was lovely and not overdone like many country inns trying to capture the history of the land. The Guinness was absolutely spot on as was the Harvey's Sussex Best and the Landlord. I think I might go back

Found this place on a detour from Sevenoaks. Abundant parking, toilets, cafe, and information centre. Very clean, reasonable parking fees and a fabulous expanse of land to let pets or children run free. If you carry on walking through the park, you will reach the castle (requires a fee for entrance) and then further on the Viaducts. Still, if you carry on, you'll stumble on a lovely river and waterside pub. It was a really nice day out for sure!

Lovely country park with a decent cafe that serves food and refreshments. Different trails to walk according to ability. Lovely in the summertime.

A nice place for an hours walk or so. Signposting is fairly good too. Nice views from some spots.

Fab Place for catching tiddlers, safe walk along the river for young ones and a basic country cafe with nets and outdoor toys for children. Picnic area is well maintained and plenty of tables. For country toilets they are really clean and actually perfect for little ones and got a big thumbs up from my 4 year old

Best roast I’ve ever had! And fantastic value. Very quaint little pub in a very cute village. We will be back for sure! Didn’t stay so can’t comment on the hotel, but the staff were lovely and friendly.

I actually visited just for the Sunday roast and it did not disappoint! One of the BEST Sunday roasts I have eaten out! A must try! The service was very welcoming and attentive! A cost little country pub! Highly recommend!

Lovely place for a two night break away. Clean, comfortable well appointed rooms. Good, hearty, wello cooked breakfasts and dinners. Big shout out to the young staff who booked us in and served us both at breakfast and dinner. Polite, engaging, smart and efficient.

Treated my dad for his birthday and had a lovely meal. The food and service was amazing. Thank you Ava A for making it a great experience. We really love coming here.

I attended the Plough Inn Eynsford for the 3 course Christmas meal with a friend and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The only let down was that I was advised by a worker that my chocolate dessert, which was the chocolate bomb would melt once the hot sauce was poured on it. However, this did not happen. Then I was advised by the manager that she shouldn't have told me that as the dessert was never going to melt and instead I was supposed to smash it. However, it was too late by then. Therefore, this was very unfortunate as I wanted to video it. Apart from this misinformation the rest of my Christmas meal and drinks were incredible. Also, my friend and I really appreciated the Christmas card we got from the staff there too. I would love to eat there again and would highly recommend it.

Stopped off here after a day at Eagle Heights on a bank holiday weekend. We got a table for two with ease, happy and attentive staff. They had a wide selection of foods, including pan fried duck, steak and kidney pudding, fish, vegetarian and lots more. We were served promptly and food was hot on arrival, additional sides we had forgotten were delivered quickly without trouble. We had a couple of ciders and two mains all just over £40 which is pretty good in today's world for an afternoon out. Excellent country pub find a stone's throw from the river. The car park is just opposite the old English pub across the road.

We got together here for a family lunch. The server was very sensitive to the fact we hadn't seen each other for a while and did not bother us unnecessarily. We enjoyed a good meal with excellent desserts.

It's been 20 years since I visited this pub, and I was pleased to see that it is still going! The service was top notch, and the beer well kept. I didn't eat here, but comments I overheard from other tables were positive, so I might give it a go next time.

Delicious food, stopped here for lunch while out working. Great BLT good value for money and friendly staff ! Looked like a great beer selection also which I will have to come back for if in the area
