Cherry Lodge has the best greens I’ve played on this year, the golf course is improving year on year which is down to all the hard work the green staffs puts in

Great course in good condition with slick greens. There has been a lot of work to improve the club over the last 3 or 4 years and it is ongoing. Friendly staff from pro shop to greenkeepers and bar. It is also a friendly member's club. Worth a visit - you might want to join

Great venue, nice course layout, We had society day and was extremely happy with food, hospitality, the course was fun, tricky the was fast but receptive, tricky slopes made it fun, only small gripe would be the bunkers, some had very little sand making them very tough to escape, but overall was great value for money and would visit again👍

Played here in October on Surrey National club captains away day …the course was very interesting with some wonderfully unique holes. Greens were in great condition. Everyone we encountered from green staff to bar staff were friendly and obviously very proud of their club ….special mention to Amy behind the bar who was very friendly and helpful

I went to princes park golf club for a lesson with Mark Brailey and I must say from the time I arrived to the time I left I could not fault any of it. . The young gentleman in the Hut made me a cuppa tea as I was early. And the lesson from mark was outstanding my golf has improved so much just from changing my grip and swing. I have booked again and look forward to the new challenges of golf .

Knole Park was a unique & cool experience! There were some incredible views & wild deer that made it so special. Unfortunately had some steal our golf ball & a little too much public traffic for it to be Top Notch. Otherwise the staff, facility & golf course is superb!

Played on the hottest day of the year Definitely different from the other golf courses with high elevations and sharing some parts of the holes(one hole criss-crosses). Highly recommended to someone who loves a challenging course.

Helpful, friendly staff. Great pro-shop and the course was excellent and very well maintained. Modern and clean changing rooms. I can also highly recommend the lunch I had there. Expensive, but well worth the outlay. Improvements? Not really, except I would have liked to have seen a map detailing the holes on the score card.

Golfers, this is a must play track if you're in the area. Really exquisite holes and extremely well kept. Just a treat. Our group of 12 low single figure golfers all said "would definitely come back again!' Hospitality was good and breakfast was lovely. No faults at all. Thank you Wildernesse!

Played on the excellent Heritage course in the Pro Am. A very challenging course with some interesting holes. The condition cannot be faulted in any way (maybe the rough a little high 😆). Lovely clubhouse and friendly staff. A great experience.

Westerham Golf Club, Kent

Valence Park, Brasted Rd, Westerham TN16 1QN, UK | Sports Club

Rating: 4.5 (675) Price Level:

I have really enjoyed shooting weddings and events at Westerham Golf Club. The Clubhouse hosts their ceremony room on the first floor, overlooking the rolling fairways and lake, and is a beautiful room offering plenty of natural light for photographs. There is plenty of outside space for group photos, candid documentary photography and couple portraits. The staff are always extremely helpful and professional.

There are moderate ups and downs and some challenging holes with bunkers and lakes, but the overall outlook is good and the ground was in very good condition despite the rain the day before. Beautiful scenery and a pleasant place to play golf. I would like to come back again🥰

Really decent golf course and great price after 3 pm for visitors. It’s been a while since I saw water hazards at a English golf course. Greens are soft and well maintained. Can be hilly in some parts so a buggy is recommended (£25) as it can get busy even on a Tuesday afternoon!! Friendly bar service at the end

Course in fantastic condition, greens are fast for this time of year, breakfast looked good even though I didn't bother, guiness was a good pint.

Great members club very convenient for M26. A bit hilly in places and very demanding of long straight carries from the white tees. Good greens with slopes that can be difficult to read

Had a great time at Wrotham health golf club. We didn't pick a particularly nice day to play the course but this didn't dampen our enjoyment of a lovely layout, the only negative was the lone walks from green to tee, some of the paths are very steep and on rough ground. Some paths have been remade with some kind of resin compound which were much better. Overall a very nice golf course.

We went to Birchwood Park to attend a celebration of a beautiful life cut sorrowfully short, and not to play golf. That said, we were greeted by beautiful and immaculately kept grounds that were being used by plenty of golfers engaged in their sport. The views were nothing short of stunning, the atmosphere serene. The room we were in was spacious and light with a sheltered balcony and easy access to bathroom facilities. All guests were made to feel very welcome by all members of Birchwood Park's staff from serving staff to the bar manager: I felt they appreciated the solemness of the occasion, and were beyond courteous. The afternoon tea provided was fulsome, with copious amounts of sandwiches - quality fillings well presented. We all to a man left feeling much more relaxed, even in spite of the initial purpose of us coming together: I think that the venue combined with the way we were all looked after by the staff had a lot to do with this.

I would highly recommend using their venue for functions as the venue is a beautiful and an amazing place. The staff were absolutely wonderful and very professional and helpful in every way. Shana the events manager was a complete star she went above and beyond to help us all the way throughout to organise our Grandmother's wake. I would highly recommend this venue and myself and my family would like to thank Shana and her team for everything they have done for us and we would definitely use the venue again for future functions. Got married here in the 11th of may 2024 what an incredible day myself and my husband had. The team at the darnth where just incredible nothing was to much of a hassle from the moment we booked it. The day was run so smoothly everyone was just so friendly. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough the best place ever to get married!! We had the best day ever!

Wonderful staff that made our day extra special. They pay attention to detail and are very on board for the whole day and night. Extra touches like caring for and bringing out the gifts for key guests and making sure the bride and groom were well attended made for a perfect experience. They certainly went over and above for us and are well versed in making sure weddings run smoothly. We returned a few weeks later for lunch just to be in that lovely space around kind and attentive staff.
