Great venue, nice course layout, We had society day and was extremely happy with food, hospitality, the course was fun, tricky the was fast but receptive, tricky slopes made it fun, only small gripe would be the bunkers, some had very little sand making them very tough to escape, but overall was great value for money and would visit againđź‘Ť

Great course in good condition with slick greens. There has been a lot of work to improve the club over the last 3 or 4 years and it is ongoing. Friendly staff from pro shop to greenkeepers and bar. It is also a friendly member's club. Worth a visit - you might want to join

Played here in October on Surrey National club captains away day …the course was very interesting with some wonderfully unique holes. Greens were in great condition. Everyone we encountered from green staff to bar staff were friendly and obviously very proud of their club ….special mention to Amy behind the bar who was very friendly and helpful

Cracking golf course in excellent condition especially for the time of year.... Everything about chart Hills is great from the service you recieve as soon as you arrive to the practice facilities and the tough golf course! We also stayed in the newly created barn accommodation which is excellent. Really nice sized rooms with a communal area to sit have a chat and a few after round beers... Would highly recommend a stay at chart Hills. Oh and an excellent breakfast is thrown in for your stay.

Beautiful course, very challenging in places, good range available. Refreshments are a bit hit and miss. No food really available apart from the odd sausage roll so if you come off the course wanting food there isn’t usually any around.
Rating: 5 / 5
Lovely course with some surprisingly challenging holes Friendly staff working the bar for post round drinks and grabbing a bite to eat.
Rating: 4 / 5
Had a lovely day playing golf at Tenterden Golf Club. Such a lovely picturesque course and very peaceful. Not too busy as we had a 12.30 tee time. Staff in pro shop and bar friendly and helpful. Quite a challenging course in parts, with a few uphill fairways and greens. We had a buggy which was petrol driven, something we had not encountered before and it was the only thing that spoilt the experience as it was noisy and also very jerky to drive. We were told that they are due for replacement soon so perhaps next time it will be a smoother experience. I would have rated the club 5 stars if it wasn't for the buggy.
Rating: 5 / 5
Only did s few holes on the practice greens and a few balls on the driving range. Good range for drills and coaching as the bays are a good size. It's fairly quiet also so no issues getting on through the day. The is a good sized area of hard standing for parking close to the bays.
Rating: 4 / 5
Nice course with a good variety of holes and well presented... Although by no means 'long' - we have invited guests from far more 'prestigious' golf clubs and all have been complimentary and, somewhat, surprised at how difficult it is to score well.

I have been to this golf club many times and it has never failed to impress. The pro shop and bookings team have always been very helpful. The 3 courses are pure, greens roll fast and a lovely setting. Rounds in the wind are awesome but can be very challenging. So sometimes very difficult for a chopper like myself. I always have the best time going to Princes and am excited to return. A must play golf course.

Stunning place to play golf. Course was in very good condition for the final day of October. As it’s links it drains incredibly well. Played on consecutive days, the first had benign conditions and glorious sun, the second was true links golf with very strong winds. Some very challenging holes but well worth a visit. We did 2×18 holes, breakfast dinner and one night accommodation for just over £200. Brilliant value
Rating: 5 / 5
A prestigious links course and one of the 100 best in England. The course is unobstructed, spacious and pleasant. We played Dunes and Himalayas, both after heavy rain, but the grounds were not too badly damaged (although there were puddles in places). They were well maintained and the greens were fast. It was very challenging, but I would like to stay and play in the summer next time🥰 At the end, you enter a toll road, but you can go straight through on the way there. If you see a staff on the way back, just declare that you played golf at Prince's and you can pass through for free.

Stonelees Golf Centre

Rating: 4.5 (266) Price Level:
Various courses. Alot of work going on with the par 3, which has limited this one for a few years. Clubhouse is nice and food not too badly priced. I visited again today and uprated my opinion, since I had a lunch of burger and chips, which was excellent value and very tasty. The par 3 is still undergoing work.
Rating: 5 / 5
Fantastic venue with plenty to do. Golf range and 3 courses. Food is fresh and tasty with an extensive menu. Fully stocked bar with friendly attentive staff. Loads of wildlife on site ranging from ducks, geese, crows and so forth. Buggies, trollies and clubs are all available to hire and all golfers are welcome regardless of ability.

I found out about Stonelees simply from browsing courses on Google maps. I've had a long absense from golf and was looking for the right place to visit and gently get back into the game. Having read the reviews and looking at the features via their website I decided on Stoneless and I'm so glad I did. The practice facilities are excellent, especially the putting green. Green fees are incredibly fair! With 3 levels of courses to choose from, there is something for everyone. I tried the 5 hole par 3 course first and that's a very easy course for practicing short game and it was nice to play a few times before moving onto the next levels. The Executive is an excellent mostly par 3 course which is quite a challange, with some water and slopes on many holes and smaller greens. I tried the Heights course for the first time today and was very very impressed. The greens were fantastic. Some holes are very challenging due to some long and narrow fairways, but that's what makes the course so good. My first 4 holes went very well and then a little downhill after, but not having played for close to 15 years, I guess it'll take a little more time to get my game back. I also have to mention another reason why I really like Stonelees... it's very laid back and not a bit of snobbery to be seen. The snobby nature of many golf clubs is what turns me away. But Stonelees is very welcoming, which is why I travel over 40 miles each time I visit. It's now my regular club. Only thing left to try is the food, which I hear is fantastic. So thank you very much to Stonelees for helping me get back into golf and, most importantly, enjoying golf again.

I’ve been having golf lessons with James Prophet for some time now and have really appreciated his direction and wisdom with my swing. Without his guidance I would be lost in my ability progression, definitely recommend.

Golfers, this is a must play track if you're in the area. Really exquisite holes and extremely well kept. Just a treat. Our group of 12 low single figure golfers all said "would definitely come back again!' Hospitality was good and breakfast was lovely. No faults at all. Thank you Wildernesse!

My first trip to Wildernesse and a truly memorable one. A quite beautiful and challenging parkland course with superb greens and clever bunkering. The green staff do a first rate job in presentation. The clubhouse and facilities are first rate and the staff are both friendly and efficient.

Lovely tree lined golf course. Very challenging but a delight to play.

Helpful, friendly staff. Great pro-shop and the course was excellent and very well maintained. Modern and clean changing rooms. I can also highly recommend the lunch I had there. Expensive, but well worth the outlay. Improvements? Not really, except I would have liked to have seen a map detailing the holes on the score card.

Magnificent day of golf. I would put this up against any of the courses in the area. It is stunning, with many of the holes set along the water. This is a must play if you are in the area!

As a visitor I played here today in typical winter costal weather. Sleet and heavy rain on the front nine and sunshine with blue sky's on the return. Inspite of the weather my welcome was warm and friendly. The course is exellent. A great challenge for any golfer and if you are prone to a few stray drives then winter is the time to play here as the rough is short and forgiving. The tee boxes are immaculate, flat and no bare patches (I have played on worse greens). The fairways are lush and riddled with immaculate revetted bunkers. (See photos) The pro shop is exceptionally well stocked for its size with everything from clubs to waterproofs and embroidered sweaters. In twems of facilities there is a couple of practice nets for warming up and a 250 yard open air driving range played from the grass. The club house is traditional with wood clad halls and high ceelings but modern facilities in terms of bathrooms and showers etc. Lots of history here both on the walls and in the membership but friendly not snooty. I would highly recommend a visit. Just be sure to call 1st as booking availability varies depending on the day of the week and time of year.

Great course and made for an amazing time with the lads. Tough but fair course with bunkers plotted throughout making you think about each shot. Course in incredible shape and staff very friendly.
Rating: 5 / 5
Typical links, you review it on paper and think you'll take it apart and then you turn up and get a understanding of what the wind is doing and you start to worry whether you will make a modest score at best! Its such a great course. We played it as part of a comp held by a well know club manufacture which made the day even more fun. The course was in fantastic condition. Its is approached via a funny little country lane and you start to wonder if you've taken a wrong turn until it appears in all its glory. The club house has a real sense of old school history which adds to its appeal. A must for anyone venturing to the Kent coast as often over looked for some travelling to play some of the neighboring favorites.

Brilliant, one of the best links courses. A good challenge but fair at the same time. Unbelievable history and stunning course architecture. Super friendly and helpful staff…🤩👏⛳️🏆

Beautiful location on top of the white cliffs with amazing views, both out to sea and over the rolling countryside… and a very friendly club, both members and staff. It’s actually a very stern test of golf with quite a few blind shots, long up-hillers and some very tricky sloping fairways (one drive I aimed and hit at the very right of the fairway rolled down the slope about 150 yards and ended up down the bottom on the left)… you have to play the contours on a lot of holes. The course also has some unique man-made bumps and ridges placed at strategic points on several holes and one massive hillock aside one of the greens, known locally as the doughnut. I played the course, twice, in clement summer weather… I expect it would be even more of a challenge with the wind whipping in off the sea. All in all a fabulous golfing experience!

Great fun. Greens are a good pace and true. Just a bit woolly later in the day. Good value for money. Fantastic views of the Dover straits on the front nine. We were lucky with the weather. Sunny conditions with a moderate wind making it a little more interesting. The half way house is very good and well stocked, plus being open as we came through around 1630hrs. Only had a beer in the clubhouse. However, the menu looked good. Overall, we loved the whole place and look forward to our return.

Been a few times now, not to play but for the food and to have a drink. The roast dinner is very good value for money and can't complain about the bat prices either. Had excellent service from izabella. Well done and will be back. You don't have to be a member to enjoy the club house

12 of us played in the Martha Trust charity fundraiser on a very blowy spring day. The clubhouse staff were cheery and welcoming, the course was in brilliant condition, with a great half way house, if I lived closer I'd definitely join. Played again 2023, The course is still fantastic and the greens are like lightening! Brilliant.
Rating: 5 / 5
Absolutely superb. Good quality course which is a real thinking test for a golfer. It's cliff top, built on chalk so drains excellently. Notwithstanding, it plays like a links course requiring challenging approach play and careful putting. Good clubhouse and well stocked pro shop too. Couldn't thinks of anything better... Its more fun than Prince's Golf Club just up the coast to be honest. Well recommended.

An undulating and challenging but well looked after parkland/heathland golf course. Although I find it bizarre that the red tees are often placed the same as or even a bit farther than the yellow ones. Accommodating pro shop staff and friendly golf course members too. Enjoyable round!

My Family played a 4 ball this afternoon after winning it in a charity raffle. Course was in great condition. Greens were true and firm. We got round easily in under 4 hours, even after hunting for a few balls. Pro shop staff were very friendly. No food available mid afternoon after the round (it was a Wednesday). Half way house had sausage rolls, chocolate and ice creams. All in all, very pleasant.
Rating: 5 / 5
Great course, some very challenging holes and some really great little par 3s. The 16th is a particular highlight. Really well maintained. It was a bit wet and windy when I was there so the sand traps were quite firm (luckily for me) and the greens a little soft. But that is not the green keeper fault. Looking forward to going back on a sunnier day. Had a pint and a sandwich in the clubhouse after our round. Nice selection of beers and sandwiches. All the staff, from the chap in the pro shop, to the greens staff, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Really nice place all round.

Excellent I had the pleasure of playing at Faversham Golf Club a few months ago, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The course was in fantastic condition, offering a great challenge while still being enjoyable for players of all levels. The layout is both picturesque and well-maintained, showcasing the beauty of the area.
Rating: 4 / 5
Society day at Faversham golf club, plenty of parking and nicely laid out. Nice putting and chipping areas. Couple nets to warm up your swing. Decent coffee and bacon bap on arrival. Tees are decent. Most fairways are tree lined. With some pretty holes. Course is cut through a valley, so you get a few uneven lies. Greens were fast and challenging. On completion, we had burger and chips served hot and fresh. Decent beer. All in all, a good days golf.

Amazing golf course, we went to see Day 3 of The Open. Great experience watching pro golf for the first time for me, and the whole set-up was great, with friendly, helpful staff from the car park to the marshalls on the course. Royal St George's is in a beautiful part of the country, and it was a pleasure to spend a day here. If i was going to try to be picky, the queues for food and drink were very long, but that was to be expected really. A wonderful experience of sport at the highest level, and a day I wont forget in a hurry!
