Nice course that drains well. In a nice setting. If you do 18, there is a bit of variety from first time around the 9. No bunkers but a bit of water. Friendly staff.

The course is currently in very good condition and all the greens are beautifully maintained and in first class playing condition. For weekdays the green fee is £18 for 9 holes with only a further £4 if you want to play 18 holes. This is the same course but with different tees and separate greens. The final icing on the cake is a very personable and friendly lady behind the bar. Played a charity match here last Sunday, 21 September in aid of Hospice in the Weald; over £1,000 raised. Course and greens still first class and excellent keg beer as well!

A modern club house and pro shop with very friendly staff set a great first impression. The small, fast greens are difficult to read and I feel are the jewel in this nicely laid out course's crown. The range offers free balls which is quite something these days, albeit the range itself is slightly awkwardly situated, requiring a walk down the first hole to access it. A great little halfway hut with an excellent homemade selection is a must-stop and most players seem to do so, with no impact on the flow of play. Excellent value for money as a member's guest.

Played today in 30+ degree heat and really enjoyed myself. 2nd time I've played the course and love the layout. The only issue I have is that the spaces in the car park are way too small, meaning A LOT of people park over the line or just take up 2 spaces deliberately because your physically can't get in and out of your car.

I played at the Nevill on Thursday 1st June ‘23. First time visit for me, 2nd time for the society I was with. An excellent course in really good condition, the greens did look a bit patchy, but played smooth and slick. Some bunkers were like a sand veneer over concrete though, so best not to go in them! Annoyingly, the half way house closed just as my group got to it and this was around 2pm. I was looking forward to a chilled drink too and couldn’t understand why it would close when the course still had quite a few players out on it. This is why I gave it 4 stars otherwise it would have been 5.

Course can be tricky. Long carries to some fairways. Lots of undulations and uneven fairways. I only went in one bunker, but it had good, raked sand in it. Beware the water though. Some do have sturdy ball retrievers by then. Not keen on having to walk down a twisting coyntry road to get to and from a couple of the holes though. Coming back about 5 vehicles passed me. Quite hilly in places. There on an away day with meal afterwards. The food was excellent as was the service. As a group of 40 ladies the facilities were a bit on the small side, but I think the same could be said about most clubs and under normal circumstances would be fine.
