The Best Golf Courses in Halling, Kent, United Kingdom (2025)

They say they are one of the best draining courses in Kent. I went the day after a big storm. It was one of the only courses open and the condition was better than any course I have played during the winter months. The greens were a bit too hard but better than most. The fairways had drained nicely and played well. Bunkers did have lying water but that’s to be expected with the amount of rain we had recently. Club house is great, modern and welcoming. Pro shop had the most friendly and informative pro I have meet yet, he was friendly and more than happy to help.

I love this course... Inland Links at its finest. Tees and Greens always immaculate. Tricky on a windy day but can be played by all handicappers. Course improvements happening all the time. Course drainage one of the best in the country in winter. Very dry today on a cold and Novembery day.

Played here today in a match and it was in pretty good condition with just a few soggy ections. Greens ok and receptive. All bunkers in play too. Great ham, egg and chips lunch!

Great place to hit a few balls on the driving range at a decent price of £5 for 50 or £7 for 75. Have yet to try a full round but its a beautiful part of the country so Im sure it will be good. The clubhouse is immaculately clean the new crazy golf course looks very tempting.

Great fun for all the family. Very clean , very well maintain. Good value for money. Putters especially made for little one and adults.

Go there pretty much every Sunday to practice my swing on the driving range. I take the kids and they enjoy it too

Great members club very convenient for M26. A bit hilly in places and very demanding of long straight carries from the white tees. Good greens with slopes that can be difficult to read

Had a great time at Wrotham health golf club. We didn't pick a particularly nice day to play the course but this didn't dampen our enjoyment of a lovely layout, the only negative was the lone walks from green to tee, some of the paths are very steep and on rough ground. Some paths have been remade with some kind of resin compound which were much better. Overall a very nice golf course.

Society day. All well organised. Really good layout, many tight tree lined holes. Great variety of holes unlike many others.

A well presented and challenging course. There are some long walks between tees and crossing a road mid round is interesting however great facilities and welcoming staff make for a very enjoyable visit.

Great place. 9 hole is great and relaxed for beginners, plus good value. I got my first hole in one here. Bar is good for a beer afterwards

Greens are playing really nicely at the minute, enjoyable round of golf!

Amazing greens and bunkers for both courses. Really good putting green has difficult holes to play on. Driving range really helps you with your swing but only thing I say is have more targets and have a tracker so people know how how they hit it. Serve good food. I got my first par and birdie here.

Played the 9 hole and can recommend for those who don’t want a long course. Given the recent weather the greens are in good condition, and all for £10.50 (senior)

Nice club. Membership requirements you to pay a sign up fee . Which I believe is excessive. The staff keeps it looking nice. Loads of temporary greens and tees in the winter (Like most clubs). staff are nice. Some of the members are not. Hence the 4

Really enjoyable day. Course in very good condition. All in shop very helpfull. Played on county card so exceptional value for money. Recommend 100%.

Nice private course in secluded position , tricky with unforgiving rough .Lovely patio & changing rooms.staff seemed helpful & smart.

Played there last Tuesday on a society day and was very impressed. The course is very interesting and in great condition. We were warmly welcomed and the staff and food were excellent! Look forward to returning 😊

Sat Nav didn't like the Google address, so found it hard to find the golf club premises. Eventually just went by the road name and found it. Nice easy parking and access to club house, staff very friendly and helpful, course is very wide, lovely scenic course, greens need some tlc and the 18 hole Tee box is the worst I've seen in a long time, other than that course plays really well, will definitely play again.

Lovely scenic golf course with forgiving fairways, interesting holes and friendly staff. Considering it only reopened 9 weeks ago the greens keeping team have done a fantastic job getting the course back into shape. Greens and fairways are in very good condition for a pay-and-play. Great work.

Had the pleasure of photographing a 21st birthday here. A very stylish venue, with welcoming and attentive bar staff. Amazing and tasty food! I hope to photograph here again.

Outstanding & challenging course - you have to be accurate and a competent low/mid-handicapper to play well around here. Fairways are tight with lots of trees. Greens were immaculate, however some of the hardest I've played recently. I can see why it's the flagship course from Get Golfing - great job guys!

Held our daughters 21st here. It was a fantastic night. All the staff were fabulous, from the girls organising, the security and all the front of house guys. They couldn’t be more helpful. The bar was really busy and H, Darren and the staff coped brilliantly. We have had so many comments that is was a brilliant party. Would definitely recommend holding a party here.

Came here on Friday the 22nd. Course was in excellent condition despite the freezing temperatures, the front 9 greens were frozen but back 9 was fine. The Fairways were in great condition and ground staff were doing their best to keep leaves tidied up. Food and drink in the players lounge was also welcoming and tasty.

What a wonderful experience,, no complaints at all. 4 stars for location only because of the poor bus routes. If you are arriving at the train station late it's best to pre book a taxi as there is no / little uber service in the area. We were lucky to get one of the last taxies working from the station taxi office.

Gillingham Ladies Darts League held our annual presentation night at Gillingham Golf Club last night (17th Nov). It is a fantastic venue. The management and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Tracie and team went above and beyond. From the 95+ Ladies who attended last night, it's a big thank you from us. Most definitely will be booking the venue for 2023.

Course in great condition. Greens are very fast and I seem to find a lot of the trees just lately. Not busy Sunday evening just lovely peaceful golf followed by a cold pint in the clubhouse.

Invited for lunch by our friends, what a lovely venue. Great place, great views, good food and friendly staff.

Here for a corporate event. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic and came out fast. Will visit here again for leisure. Golf course looks very smart and picturesque.

We attended a wedding reception. The venue was lovely and the food delicious. The service was very good. I'm a blur badge holder and my only criticism would be that there seemed limited disabled parking for the numbers that were attending.

Beautiful views whilst playing on a beautifully kept course. Greens in September were exceptional. Nice wide course so very forgiving. Some nice long par fours and tricky par threes. Not that hard a course but very enjoyable. Restaurant, cafe and bar are very nice. The staff throughout were very nice and friendly. Hotel looks like a lovely place to stay. We had a day of rain, so must visit again in better weather! All round good place to visit.

Great course. Stunning conditions and set up. Has a good range of holes, some tricky and others a bit more simple. Definitely worth another visit. Value for money is also very good with a quality driving range.

Lovely golf course, first time me and my son went down today 8/9. We only did the driving range just to get the feel of the club to see if my son like it and he did. Went to pro shop and the young lad in there very polite and told me there the driving range was. Will be back to play a round when the weather isn't so wet
