I called in for brunch today and treated myself to a breakfast baguette which was served with a very tasty salad and a coffee. The food, the coffee and the service was first class. Would thoroughly recommend this establishment..

Very nice place with kind and helpful ppl working in it. The food and cakes looks very appetising. The cafelatte cake was moist, creamy and soft. I will definitely come back for the chocolate and orange one šŸ˜šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼ The coffee has traditional flavours and barista had served it with creamy, steamed milk. Gluten-free and vegan cakes are available also. There is toilet in the premises. Prices looks reasonable considering that operating a shop must be costly nowadays.

Looks clean and tidy. Fresh hot pasty . Turnovers.Homemade. Range of teas. Good coffee. Does not do fried egg but that's due to not having the facilities. Still lots to choose from Quick service . Very polite . Passionate business owners. Not been open very long. One small step down into cafe Some nice space but compact. Couple of the tables would be awkward to sit on because of a pillar and table in walk way . Quite narrow. Wouldnt fit wheelchair through. Could use front of shop has two tables by windows with more room. Toilet available . Small but clean. Nice handwash and kitchen roll for hand washing. One step up to the toilet area. Wouldnt be able to fit a wheelchair. Dogs are welcome. Breakfast looks nice and seen some happy customers Can do cash or card . Gives receipts by email or paper. Sandwich very nice. Well presented. Bacon cooked well. Bread nice and fluffy. . Scrambled egg tasty! Served with salad crispy and nice dressingĀ  also some coleslaw on the side . Reasonable price and Inexpensive compared to most other local cafes Most places your looking at 7.50 a sandwich . Gluten free and vegan options available. Could have a nicer looking menu and a little more appealing advertising out front. Maybe a menu in the window to show what's available and the great prices. Parking isnt available outside but has some off road parking locally and a car park just down the road. Station road. Would definately go back again :)

Brunch & Brew

52 High St, Tenterden TN30 6AU, UK | Cafe
P: 01580 761933

Rating: 4.8 (223) Price Level:

We stumbled across this quaint cafe located off the main high street of tenterden. The inside is small and holds about 8 -10 tables but if the weather is good then thereā€™s some outside space which looks out on the main high street. The cafe had a good varied selection of food and drinks. We opted for the all day breakfast along with chicken gyros and children meals. Price wise, you get a lot for your money. Staff were attentive and polite and food arrived in good time and hot. A very nice place to visit on a lunchtime stop off. A well earnt 5 stars! Definitely one to attend if your passing.

My mum has been to the Brunch & Brew many times before and always spoke very highly of both the food and service. Luckily for me we were passing by and mum said she would treat me to something to eat. What an absolute gem this place is, with it's superb menu and excellent service, all served up with a genuine smile. The breakfast that I chose was excellent, cooked to perfection and the presentation was immaculate, portion size was more than adequate. All in all I am highly impressed with the Brunch & Brew and look forward to visiting again. If you want great quality food and service it has it all, highly recommended. Visited again today and it is still excellent, this is now our go to place if we are looking for a breakfast, perfect every time. This probably the best place to eat in Tenterden in my honest opinion, great value for money. Brunch & Brew is also dog friendly, so it is an ideal place to eat should you have your furry friend with you.

Brunch & Brew has been our favourite breakfast venue since we moved to Tenterden three years ago. Today, we had breakfast in the new venue on the High St and it's just as good as before. The food is as good as ever and the new premises have been done out really nicely. Service, as in the previous venue, is excellent. It's good reading on the menu that, as far as possible, the food is sourced from local providers. It was lovely seeing quite a few people in there early in the day and I hope that means the new location will be a success - it certainly deserves to be.

My sister and I went to this lovely cafe today. First time Iā€™ve been but my sister has been several times. I am coeliac and there was. so much choice ( something Iā€™m not often used to having),, We had a lovely sandwich which we shared to leave room for cake. So many to chose from. I chose a delicious cheesecake and my sister who isnā€™t gluten free had the chocolate and cherry cake. We both thought the cakes were yummy. Thank you for having such a big gluten free choice, weā€™ll definitely be visiting again soon.

We found this cafe by chance as the cafe we normally stop at on route home was closed. We were greeted on arrival by Jo. I am gluten free and was delighted when Jo told me I could get a gluten free breakfast. My friends had the breakfast bagel while I tucked into sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, mushroom and tomato with gluten free toast and real butter. My friends reported that the bagels were delicious. The cafe was an unexpected gem . It has a lovely atmosphere and Jo the waitress is so friendly. Ceci the owner/chef is also lovely.

I visited Peggotty's Tea Shoppe with friends after a recommendation from someone living locally. We had the Tenterden Special Afternoon Tea which was Ā£17pp and included a sandwich, a fruit or plain homemade scone, served with homemade jam and clotted cream, a slice of cake and a pot of loose leaf tea or a cup of filter coffee. The tea room is quaint and very small in size so booking is definitely required. We arrived 10 minutes early for our table and did not receive the warmest of welcome, so I would say don't turn up any earlier than your booked time as there is no space to sit and wait for your table. I decided to try the camomile tea but didn't enjoy the taste but the English breakfast tea was really nice. All the food tasted amazing; the sandwich fillings were so flavoursome, we had smoked salmon and cream cheese, BLT, prawn and avocado & brie and streaky bacon. We all chose the fruit scone and they were so warm and fluffy. The rolo cake tasted lovely but not an overpowering rolo taste that I was hoping for! The price was incredibly reasonable, I just wish the service was friendlier as I just felt disappointed after our visit as if we were an inconvenience to them.

Today they had a temp chef in (normal chef was on holiday), which meant service times were slow. However, the team did an absolutely incredible job at handling this, with constant communication and the food was still fab (despite a slow service!) on top of this, due to the wait our meal was comped, which was above and beyond what we would have expected and shows how much this place cares about reputation and customer happiness. Overall yes, temp kitchen staff meant slower wait times, but having been before this is notably just a tough day, but the experience was still great and hats off to the FOH team for excellently handling this.

Fabulous place to stay if you're heading to Chapel Down for a tour. The Inn is located a mere 5 minute drive from Chapel Down and the owners offer a taxi service which is very convenient as you will certainly be drinking too much wine to drive yourself there and back! Owned by a lovely couple and their two dogs Martha and Hettie who were very cute at breakfast in the morning! We stayed in the authors suite which has a wonderful super king (I think?!) size bed plenty big enough to accommodate a tall couple like ourselves at 5ft10 and 6ft1! Fabulous copper bathtub in the spacious bathroom, and a little fireplace in the bedroom which we didn't use (it being May) but would be lovely in the winter. Recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay whilst visiting Chapel Down or looking to explore Tenterden and the surrounding areas.

We booked a last minute table for a family birthday dinner for our son (who was turning 12), Shona accommodated us no problem! Weā€™ve been wanting to try the Print House for a while and were not disappointed! The place itself is lovely with a really welcoming feel and wonderful ambience (even on a Monday night when most places are pretty dull), the staff were friendly and attentive and they made us feel special and really made the occasion, especially for the kids, despite it being quite a ā€˜grown upā€™ place. The food was excellent, with a good selection of wines a menu created from great quality locally sourced produce. Overall, an excellent experience, weā€™re just sorry we hadnā€™t been sooner, but will be returning again very soon for sure! Thank you for a great evening.

Rating: 4.6 (252) Price Level:

I visited here with my best friend from our school days, we hadn't seen each other for quite a few years and each had driven over an hour to meet up, so it was important we had a nice brunch. I'm so glad we chose Amy's Pantry. The staff were delightful, very friendly and the service was super efficient. We both had the Vegan breakfast, which was served piping hot and we both thoroughly enjoyed. My drink was the most delicious mango and coconut sorbet, so tasty and refreshing. Prices are spot on, as were the portion sizes. The atmosphere is really pleasant with interesting decor, tables are well spaced out so you don't feel cramped. A delightful place which I would highly recommend and as Arnie says, "I'll be back" šŸ˜Š

An attractive menu of options for lunch. Coffee is good. Nice to see a wee selection of local beers, ciders and wines. The toastie was delicious and the side salad tasty and varied: the peppers are a nice touch. I liked all the plants and the local community notices. Would be better if the customer toilet didnā€™t open into their prep area but I guess they canā€™t put it anywhere else, or they would haveā€¦. I would go back.

Stumbled upon this place on a visit to Tenterden, the food and drink is excellent and who wouldn't want to be in the cheerful, friendly, busy but not crowded. They were accommodating with slight changes to the adult menu for my slightly fussy teen. Nothing bad to say.

Friends had told us that they had a great breakfast at Silcocks Farm Shop and suggested we should pop in and give it a try. Firstly it is a beautiful place with plenty of character and is very nicely presented and maintained with a lovely atmosphere. The shop has plenty of great farm produce for sale at very reasonable prices, we only had a quick look around but what we did see was all high quality, maybe when we have more time we will pop in again and have a proper look. The breakfast was delicious and service was exceptional and the price was very reasonable. I can definitely recommend the full English breakfast! Overall 10 out of 10 and look forward to visiting again.
