This is my goto cafe, which has the only customer-loo in the area. With the addition of the Artists Wall and Writers Bench, the café is truly inspirational

We visited this lovely little coffee shop today. The staff was amazing and so was the service, coffee and bacon roll were the best. I would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone visiting Tenterden, you won’t be disappointed.

Staff are incredible and food always amazing. Coffee is the best in Tenterden, very smooth and not at all bitter. Lots of choice of cakes and cold drinks too! I never go anywhere else ☕️ Disabled and baby changing toilets, and dog friendly as well

What an amazing welcoming coffee shop.we love to visit and have a cupper,cake and a catch up with the one and only Jack.Always a pleasure.will be back soon.

Revisited brunch and brew in their new premises . Total 5 stars 🤩 lovely atmosphere and staff. Found my new favourite treat ( cruffin ) coffee was lovely. Will return soon x

Brunch & Brew has been our favourite breakfast venue since we moved to Tenterden three years ago. Today, we had breakfast in the new venue on the High St and it's just as good as before. The food is as good as ever and the new premises have been done out really nicely. Service, as in the previous venue, is excellent. It's good reading on the menu that, as far as possible, the food is sourced from local providers. It was lovely seeing quite a few people in there early in the day and I hope that means the new location will be a success - it certainly deserves to be.

I very rarely leave reviews but Brunch & Brew warrants a shout out for their: - exceptional and friendly service, - beautiful decor and comfy seats - incredibly tasty food (we had bubble and squeak, - Brie and bacon toastie, millionaires shortbread and carrot cake - they were all out of this world! - warm atmosphere (e.g lighting, music just right - not too loud so you can still hear yourself speak!) We will be back and I felt compelled to recommend others do the same!

I had googled cafes in tenterden as i was visiting for the day and this one came highly recommended .wow i wasnt dissapointed what a lovely cafe .table service and greeted by friendly .polite and helpfull staff they were lovely .the food was delicious and coffee lovely .beautiful clean and tidy surroundings with a lovely atmosphere .i highly recommend this place and look forward to my next visit

This lovely little cafe serves amazing food and very reasonable. I had a georgous sandwich with all the trimmings and my husband had a flatbread sandwich. Wonderful cook and waitress. Friendly polite and fast service. Would highly recommend.

Very nice place with kind and helpful ppl working in it. The food and cakes looks very appetising. The cafelatte cake was moist, creamy and soft. I will definitely come back for the chocolate and orange one 😏👌🏼 The coffee has traditional flavours and barista had served it with creamy, steamed milk. Gluten-free and vegan cakes are available also. There is toilet in the premises. Prices looks reasonable considering that operating a shop must be costly nowadays.

My friend & I popped into this lovely cafe earlier on today...very friendly welcome and great suggestions for the delicious homemade lemonade and feta tarts....food came with a yummy unexpected salad and we munched the lot! What a friendly place, definitely visit again Thank you for a great food stop 😁👏

Looks clean and tidy. Fresh hot pasty . Turnovers.Homemade. Range of teas. Good coffee. Does not do fried egg but that's due to not having the facilities. Still lots to choose from Quick service . Very polite . Passionate business owners. Not been open very long. One small step down into cafe Some nice space but compact. Couple of the tables would be awkward to sit on because of a pillar and table in walk way . Quite narrow. Wouldnt fit wheelchair through. Could use front of shop has two tables by windows with more room. Toilet available . Small but clean. Nice handwash and kitchen roll for hand washing. One step up to the toilet area. Wouldnt be able to fit a wheelchair. Dogs are welcome. Breakfast looks nice and seen some happy customers Can do cash or card . Gives receipts by email or paper. Sandwich very nice. Well presented. Bacon cooked well. Bread nice and fluffy. . Scrambled egg tasty! Served with salad crispy and nice dressing  also some coleslaw on the side . Reasonable price and Inexpensive compared to most other local cafes Most places your looking at 7.50 a sandwich . Gluten free and vegan options available. Could have a nicer looking menu and a little more appealing advertising out front. Maybe a menu in the window to show what's available and the great prices. Parking isnt available outside but has some off road parking locally and a car park just down the road. Station road. Would definately go back again :)

This is a little jewel in the countryside. A lovely family-run business, with generous portions and the food is delicious. Service is brilliant with very friendly staff, and the location is beautiful. Highly recommended place to stop for lunch or a quick coffee!! Be warned, it can get busy at lunch time!

What a gem of a place 😁 if you pass and don't stop you will miss out. We were just on a mini break and happened to drop in and the staff, the food and the atmosphere were just lovely 😍 so jealous not to be local. Would be in as often as I could if I was.

Been coming to the Bakehouse for years now. Location is beautiful, wonderful decorating inside and out. Emma and rest of staff are always friendly and very helpful. Food is locally sourced and beautifully cooked. Might have to wait a little if busy, buts will worth it. Refreshing to attend a business that promotes the use of cash

3 years ago I left this Italian cafe a 5 star review and thought that it was time to update it. This is still one of the best places to eat in Tenterden together with their sister restaurant Montalbano. The staff are absolutely amazing, so attentive and helpful. Sissy has blossomed since taking charge of the cafe and is extraordinary in her ability to make everyone feel welcome and special and manages the staff impeccably. Thanks also to Finley and Crem who also go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. One other thing! They serve the best coffee and cake too!

My favourite cafe in Tenterden! The food is delicious as are the drinks. The staff are so friendly and it's a lovely atmosphere.

Very cosy cafe serving great Caffe Vergnano coffee. Had A couple of espresso’s, both perfectly served. Panino Parma nice and also the Sundae. Will definitely pop in again when about town.

Found this little gem today and will definitely be back!! Great breakfast (served until 2:30pm!)

We found this cafe by chance as the cafe we normally stop at on route home was closed. We were greeted on arrival by Jo. I am gluten free and was delighted when Jo told me I could get a gluten free breakfast. My friends had the breakfast bagel while I tucked into sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, mushroom and tomato with gluten free toast and real butter. My friends reported that the bagels were delicious. The cafe was an unexpected gem . It has a lovely atmosphere and Jo the waitress is so friendly. Ceci the owner/chef is also lovely.

Cannot thank The Latte Lounge enough for the buffet they prepared and laid out for a birthday at my home. It was all just so tasty and delicious - it was all eaten over 3 days by us all!! Highly recommend Sharon and her team who created all these delights for us. Thank you all, see you in 2022

I went today with my husband for afternoon tea, it was by far the most superior one we have had. The sandwiches were delicious coronation chicken for my husband & tuna mix for me, the bread was so soft & tasty. We have been for quite a few over the years, the scones and jam were delicious 🤤

Every time we visit Tenterden there is only one place to go! The food is absolutely perfect as are the hosts. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Had been given a lovely table for 2 in the window, as it was our anniversary 😀 had a lovely selection of sandwiches an cakes all really freshly made and were totally yummy! Served in this quaint old tea room! Thank you for our lovely table an service. We'll worth s visit.

Favourite place to eat in Tenterden, in some ways very different to most cafes which is what makes it stand out. Great for kids, they have some toys for them to play with which is a really nice touch

Unsure where to start! Oli was the most engaging, informative chef. The food was simple , but oh so delicious, tiny touches like micro herbs 🌿, dehydrated vegetables 🥒 just lush. I want to head hunt him, but…. That would be unfair to all those loyal Customers . Superb to you all.

An attractive menu of options for lunch. Coffee is good. Nice to see a wee selection of local beers, ciders and wines. The toastie was delicious and the side salad tasty and varied: the peppers are a nice touch. I liked all the plants and the local community notices. Would be better if the customer toilet didn’t open into their prep area but I guess they can’t put it anywhere else, or they would have…. I would go back.

Stumbled upon this place on a visit to Tenterden, the food and drink is excellent and who wouldn't want to be in the cheerful, friendly, busy but not crowded. They were accommodating with slight changes to the adult menu for my slightly fussy teen. Nothing bad to say.

I've read a couple of bad reviews about this place and fortunately many others very positive. My personal experience has been very positive indeed: sat down for a coffee, relaxing atmosphere and lovely, available staff. I need to say coffee quality is above average (Illy coffee is advertised) and cost was as expected for being in the main Cranbrook strip. Oh, and they accept dogs, which is a strong additional 'plus' for coming again.

Love this place, it's a little gem. Lovely home cooked food. The staff are welcoming, lovely, chatty and friendly. My new place to go to with my mum. We love it.

I visited this really lovely little cafe with a friend today, it is a bit hidden, but really is a hidden gem. The ladies working in there today (maybe owner(s)) were really friendly and fun. The food was fresh and delicious. We were made to feel very welcome and both said we would definitely like to visit again! Highly recommended.

It's worth going out of your way for. Slap up mega breakfast, freshly cooked and served with a smile. What more could you ask for.

We ride by this cafe a lot and decided from the smell of the food we needed to stop, and we were so pleased we did, we travel 30 odd miles to come here, what a fantastic breakfast, service is excellent. Who ever leaves a bad review for this place must be used to eating shit. Because this is definitely by far the best food your ever eat.

Always a fantastic home cooked meal.. lovely family atmosphere and nice bread pudding to top it off... Lilly, Matt and the girls are fabulous

First time biker visitors. Excellent breakfasts and plenty of it. The owners had a busy day as a nearby cafe had no water(burst main) so the bikers came in. We will definitely return with more of the biker guys. Thanks must go to the owners friend's young nieces who did a great job of serving the breakfasts and clearing up. Need to leave a bigger tip tin in a more prominent place. 5***** service.
