Allen Garden Solutions have just completed a total make over of our small garden, installing a patio, making a large bed out of railway sleepers, a pergola and planting. Jeff was a pleasure to deal with throughout, the quality of the work is excellent and we are delighted with the end result. Landscape job - clear garden then lay lawn. Hayden and his team turned up on time, within the 1st day they had cleared all the mess from the garden - soil heaps, building rubble and an old masonry pizza oven. Hayden in his digger had also levelled the garden as the old lawn had been laid incorrectly on top of existing lawn with the all the soil being taken away. Day 2 was final prep of levelling and top soil then after lunch the turf went down. Very happy. They worked very hard, Hayden was very approachable, all the team polite and at the end they tidied up. Hayden even went as far as replacing two fence boards that had split when they removed a fence panel for the digger access. Also came in at a good price.

Hayden and his team removed an ugly hedge, an old brick wall and fencing, removed a bed of weeds and replaced that with shingle, plus new fencing erected. A good job done professionally, politely and swiftly. We would have no hesitation at all in recommending this company. So pleased with the work they did and how our front garden/drive looks now. We even have room for an extra parking space. Thankyou.

I cannot praise Shane, Keith and his team enough!! During our design consultation, Shane came up with some good ideas and I'm glad I went along with them, as my patio is now a very special place for us, where we can just relax or entertain. Shane and his team are just basically amazing! They are very professional (know what they are doing…), punctual, tidy and committed to the job at hand and in a nutshell they want to create your dream. I cannot tell you how much I love just looking at my new patio, I now have my very own little piece of "Love Island" yes I love watching Love Island :) The porcelain slabs have been laid to perfection and I get so many positive comments on how well the slabs have been laid. Keith built my cedar wood pergola and it looks amazing (one of Shane's ideas….) and I have to agree with Shane it really does set of the patio. Shane is always contactable, when not on site, which we really appreciated. The quality of workmanship is outstanding and we are so over the moon that we choose Kent's Best Landscapers to build our super patio (one of the best decisions we have made!). Like others, my nearly new build had a large patch of land behind the house which was jokingly called a garden. Following recommendations, Shane and his team took on this almost impossible task. We used Shane and his crew when we moved in to a new build . The house was quite small and we needed to extend a summer extension to provide a seating and dining area to create more depth to the house without losing the sense of a garden . The water feature and green tropical plants complimented the garden furniture that added the space and lost no sense of the outdoor area . We had a few changes about storage , but managed to create a space that kept the lines and elegance of the garden , which is enhanced even more when the lighting is put on and does not lose the sleek look we were after . Shane came in on budget (but we did have to make a few changes ) and more importantly on time for completion (although a few return trips were needed) but this was mainly down to it being a winter build and the conditions his men worked under were pretty miserable , but they cracked on and got the job done . I would whole heartedly recommend KBL for vision and creativity. We love our Garden and the time we spend in it . The only complaint I have for this year is the lack of sunshine and even Shane can’t be held to account for that - again thank you for our beautiful garden and all the best in your future projects

We had our garden done by Alf and the team back in February and couldn’t recommend enough. The job was a full on re-landscaping of every inch to replace it with a new split-level patio with aco drain, new turf, fence, and planting border, along with a tree removal. Our garden is very small and North-facing, so it was always difficult for us to see the potential. However, Alf is full of great ideas and advice and consulted with us closely to agree on a design that maximises the space’s full potential. The garden has gone from just a tiny, neglected spot of land to a highly functional space for entertaining, with a larger patio area in the shade of the house (perfect for getting some respite from the heat when dining), and a smaller raised patio at the sunny end for lounging and catching some rays! I’ve only just got around to writing a review but hopefully the delay only makes it more credible as we are now several months on and have actually had the opportunity to put the garden to good use, and it 100% meets expectations. Many downpours have tested, but most definitely not defeated, the drainage system put in place which is highly effective. Everything else remains as perfect as the day it was put in. We know this wasn’t an easy job… Firstly, we have no direct access to our garden. Fortunately, we have very kind neighbours who were happy for the team to come through their garden and around the side of their house. Other landscapers were not keen to take the job on but Alf was more keen to find solutions and make it work, rather than finding excuses not to. And, I’m happy to report that the neighbours were very satisfied with how everything was cleaned up and put back in place for them afterwards. Secondly, the weather was awful… a far wetter than usual February. I’ve no doubt this made things more difficult but the team kept going. Of course, February also brings short days but Alf was often found completing work well after the sun had set, where it was practicable to do so. To summarise, if you’re looking for a knowledgable, experienced, and friendly landscape professional, who treats your property (and neighbouring properties) with absolute respect, and who has the dedication to finish the job to an exceptional standard, even in challenging conditions, then I would 100% recommend Alf and Arum Landscapes. I hope people find this review helpful - I’ve included some before and after pics to show the transformation. I did the planting so please don’t judge anyone else for that if I’ve done a bad job!!

I was looking to create a new herbaceous border but wasn’t sure where to start. I was recommended to Hythe Garden Landscapes and I have been so pleased with the service provided. The team have excellent knowledge of plants and were able to recommend, source and plant some excellent specimens for me which will provide interest and colour throughout the year. They also tidied up the rest of my garden and provided additional plants where required. I will be asking them back to maintain the garden as and when required. Wayne and his team did a great job remodelling our garden. It involved quite a lot of groundwork, and a lot of sleeper work, which was completed to a very high standard. They also did a fantastic job of laying a paved area on the upper level, and laying artificial grass on the lower level.
